 "Well that's helpful," remarked Karythelia rather relieved, stumbling around with those spirits out didn't seem like fun. "Well we're helping a ranger with a pest problem," the bard replied conversationally,"Apparently these ghosts and ghouls have been corrupting the forest. So here we are wandering around trying to find the source."
Taking another look at the lanturn, the half-elf bit her lip thoughtfully. "Do you guys think the lanturn or the ghost lights would attract more of these things? I mean say we step through some trees and there's like, a razed graveyard full of 'em. And the light makes them come after us."

Varnis had held the lantern up, as he looked about. "Its more than just clean up..." He turned around. "Its more likely helping the spirits that are here, find their resting place." He said in a barely audible whisper, as he shuddered. "If they are attracted to the lantern, or the spirits in here, then I guess we will just have to cut them down as well." Sighing, he held the lantern out in front of him. "What ever the problem is, I suggest we get moving. More will probably come."

((I forgot the calculations for the last battle regarding your hp. I'll get on that now so you can change you actions as needed, or you can post now and change after the post.))
As you continue your conversations you head deeper into the forest. Soon, the light of day is gone and nothing but the light of the lantern allows you to continue. Soon, however, it becomes apparent that even the light of the lantern is unable to penetrate the closing darkness. As your world closes to nothing more than a dozen feet around you, you here the moaning of closing spirits and ghouls. They break the line of trees, four tainted humans, each of which look slightly stronger than their previous counterparts, and a great, undead troll lumbering behind them. This time the wails have been replaced by something more coherent "Ssssaaaaaaayyyyy sssss" they bellow...but the meaning behind the jarbled words remains undeciphorable right now.

"Say... sorry?" He asked himself, as he looked up at the troll, as he heard what they had said, but barely understandable. Varnis stood there with his blade drawn, and holding it in offensive position, and waited to see what they where going to do, as well as everyone else.

"I guess they don't want to talk then." He said as powered up, and charged in at a tainted human, hoping to kill it in one hit. Wanting to get rid of the smaller guys first, to prevent team attacks, he tried to take it out as soon as possible.
Attack: Tainted Human.
Action: Power up: (Attack) (If some one will take lethal damage then: Taunt: Who ever will cause lethal damage to an ally)
Hp: 30/30
Dice: Attack (Defense if taunt is used.)
Ap: 1 (2)
Mp: 2
((Does mp and Ap stack from round to round? I cant remember lol. And can I taunt a foe if possible instead use an action if some one where to take lethal damage? I have never tried this before so I am unsure... Ok thank you Hyln.))

((Yes, you can do a "what if" for your posts. i.e.: you can say "if the enemy does 'this' then I will do 'this', but if the enemy does 'that' I will do 'this'. It doesn't have to be so blunt, as long as you post exactly as you did I'll get the message. Also, yes, ap/mp stacks from round to round. So you all will have a party pool of 2ap/2mp as of this round.))

I almost cried when I got this test and a couple of lab reports back. sweatdrop ]] Eyes wide, she stared dumbly at the troll with an amazed and mixed fascination. That mound of almost-sentient flesh was as ugly as it was mean. Snapping her attention back to the problem at hand, which would be the smaller and faster buggers, Karythelia leapt in to join the fray. [[ So there's a SA: for #3 Tainted Human and I guess an Energy Burst to finish it off unless someone would like a healing. Or Kary gets to the point of mortal peril, under uh, 7? X) ]]

Chem was really killing me becuase I was slacking sweatdrop and I azn phailed my probablity test... ]]
