Bleuraven123 Hmm... A friend of my sis introduced it to us... My sis was the first to like reading mangas and I followed since I just sorta...fell in love with the drawings.. ^^
And the anime? Hhmm.. In the Philippines, the anime I've watched were Tagalog ones... But anyway, I think I've liked anime for a long time now... Manga was still a bit recent. 年生のiから見たアニメ。私は本当にアニメにはまっています

 When I was really little, I watched Sailor Moon. I then got out of it as I grew until the summer or 2007 when I watched that Naruto marathon--there's a special name for it, but I forgot what it was called. From then on, I've been visiting the graphic novel section of local book stores & reading for hours on end. xD

I got into manga and then anime by spying on my sister and her friends in the basement a while ago.They were talking about D.N.Angel and I liked it.So I read the books and looked for it on youtube,and found the anime.Then we found a friend who helped us fall back in love with naruto,because I remember watching a few episodes of the chunin exams,and the theme song Fighting dreamers never left my head.Then it progressed from there.

my first anime was candy candy or angel after sailor moon, and manga was rosario vampire 3nodding

I was persuaded to watch Sailor Moon by a couple friends I made my first year of high school. I watched the Toonami run almost daily after school (Ronin Warriors, Cowboy Bebop, Tenchi, Outlaw Start, etc) and when I got a job I started buying mostly manga (Chobits, Marmalade Boy, SM, Peach Girl), but also the occasional anime (my first was Gasaraki).

I was probably channel surfing when I was 7-8 and i saw cartoons on the tv that happened to be animes. I learnt that now. I remember my little brother watching Sailor Moon and Card Captors. I don't really know what counts. I remember Pokemon, Digimon, Dragonball, etc. I had a Dragonball shirt blaugh

KyaOkami I'm pretty sure that i first came into contact with anime in my room when i was like young xD. Probably around 8-9 or something. Stayed up late as a child and watched Adult Swim a few times. Main anime that i looked for was Inuyasha since i didnt know much about how the TV did stuff i just kinda waited till it came on and and was like :3. I got hooked the same way (except I wasn't that young) Stayed up with insomnia, channel surfing and caught the very first Inuyasha from the begining (opening song). Then I was always up looking for it!

Wow...I think I was...maybe 10? Sailor Moon was the VERY first anime, and then I got into Princess Mononoke, Naruto... recorded adult swim while I slept so I could watch Inuyasha and Cyborg 009 and such. Then I discovered the wonders of watching anime online, and five years ago I picked up manga. smile
What a time-consuming passion. xd

The first anime i watched were back when I was little, I'd say about 7-8, my dad recorded the Akira, Ghost in the Shell and Patlabour films from the TV onto videos and they were amazing. I didn't watch any anime after that until things like Pokemon and Dragonball started coming on kids TV and only started seriously watching anime after i joined an anime society
I first met manga in school when the library got some in and started a lunchtime manga club, then I went on to join an anime and manga society and started reading loads of manga from their library, a few months later I took over as their librarian, go figure. XD

I got into anime and manga from my friend. Together in the library would read Absolute Boyfriend and Punch. From then on I was hooked. When i moved I made even more friends who were into anime and manga. They had me read/watch Fruits Basket and Naruto. I tried Bleach, but I couldn't do it. Now I read Hellsing and watch Devil May Cry.

I first came into contact with anime with Sailor Moon and DBZ. I had forgotten about it for the most part, then in 5th grade my friend was telling me about InuYasha, then I started watching Mew Mew Power, Mermaid Melody, and Naruto. So now I am currently obessed with Hetalia, Gurren Laggan, and Ouran heart (mostly Hetalia if you couldn't tell by my avi or username heart )

mostly the anime i watch that i grew up with is Sailor Moon, Hamtaro, then now im watching Naruto, and well Death note, and most favorite is code geass.
