humanoid characters I feel are the best to play.
and why the ******** did they take out Link's rapid stab? that move was the only one in Link's arsenal that was cheap! and wtf is with the clones? didnt they say they were going to nix clone characters?
that means falco, wolf, and lucas should never have been put into the game! for one, earthbound characters were cheap, look at ness in the original and melee, then look at fox, and try fighting either or both.
I didnt have any bullshit cheapness to deal with while rolling as Link!
cheap characters end up in the "high tier" because they're cheap.
I can crush kirby, yoshi, and pikachu, but when that smash ball comes up, you better stay the ******** away from it or I'll drop some babombs on ya to deny your cheap smash!
and btw, I was playing as Link, and facing Lucas, true story, I activated my final smash, and lucas using block alone BROKE MY SMASH! WTF?! it was like I couldnt use my smash but he could use his! that's bullshit! if I get denied my smash by a simple block, then why does a cheap earthbound character get to use his!? I'm calling glitch on that one!

Ness is cheap? Nah man, it's balanced out by the fact that he's difficult to use. Takes so long to get used to how he fights.
Unfortunatly for you though, I main as Ness. cool
Also, I find that Ness and Lucas actually have very different styles. I wouldn't call them clones.

baseball bat, pk fire, pk thunder, that's clone enough to me. kid/toon link is a clone but I guess they wanted to make the refrence to the wind waker game.
king dedede, meta knight, and kirby are all unique, dedede uses a giant hammer that spawns a rocket booster for a turbo golfswing, metaknight swings his sword in an AOE with rapid strikes, kirby has been in smash bros since the veterans were pitted against eachother.

Ness: Bat, burning PK fire, one blast PK thunder, PK Flash, yo-yo for all around smash attacks.
Lucas: Stick, Blasting PK fire, run-through PK Thunder, PK freeze, and psychic pulses for smashes.
And they run and jump quite differently too.

good! cheap a** characters deserve to die! hence why I kill the starfox characters, and earthbound characters! cheapasses dont deserve any ground!

spamming pk fire is how ness becomes cheap, his health restoring move that absorbs projectiles is cheap, it's pretty simple.
you see Captain Falcon able to regen health without an item? hell no!
you see Mario able to regen from damage without an item? nope.
pikachu cant regen without an item either.
ness/lucas = cheap
fox/falco/wolf = cheap
it's like you gotta turn on the healing items and reflector badges to even the field.

You do realize that there are very few attacks that are actually absorbed by those shields right?
And besides, that's one less special move in their arsenal. Pretty simple, no?
