You know, everyone wishes they could have their cake and eat it too. But, if the world worked that way then nothing would ever need be done in the first place. We wouldn't have global warming, wars wouldn't start, and would be good. But, since it's not that way, we got a lot of work to do. And as far as things unexplained go, well they can be hard to accept. But, explained or not, they're still there so some times the best bet is just to accept them regardless. Otherwise, you'll just wrack your brain trying to explain it without knowing, a fruitless endeavor I think.

I'm not saying that their is no work to be done, I mean I would work to get something done, but if compromises were more abundant, rather than dismissed......our lives might be a slight better..... whee well I think I need to wise up a little, just a little bit more to be more protective of certain things that are around me, you know, gain more knowledge in a certain area. whee 3nodding

Well, whatever you think you need. As far as gaining knowledge goes, make sure that it's actual knowledge and not just information. I know, that doesn't make much sense but there's a difference. Mostly just don't take people's sure fire ways to do things as the right way to do things. It's not always the right way.

Its what we all need, but that's just me. whee mrgreen
Right, and another thing to keep in mind, that we are gaining information we can regard as useful, but as well as beneficial, not just to us, but to the people around us. whee 3nodding

Yes, application and relevance are very important in determining whether or not information is of value.

True, but what can be considered truly valuable, as opposed to truly beneficial, because don't they both fall on some similar grounds? whee

Well, I see value as whether something is relevant to desire. But, whether something is beneficial or not is beyond my grasp. Because something we make think hurts us may help us down the road. We can only guess. So I find what I want, and hope it's actually beneficial. And usually I desire what is beneficial so it goes hand in hand most of the time. I think the trick is trying to eliminate the desire for what we know is not beneficial.

true, aww so ever so true, so in order to determine it.....I must first find what are the needs, and if those needs are not beneficial, as opposed to how valuable needed, then there is my solution. whee 3nodding

In other words, find something I need that will not only be somewhat of value, but beneficiary as well. 3nodding

That sucks. Maybe he doesn't like you. You should sacrifice a pound of green lichen to the overseer. That would do the trick.
