Api was curled up on the couch, sleeping away. All the other fluffs that were under Mizu's care were out doing other things apparently, as they were not fluttering around like mad like they usually were. Though that didn't mean that no one was around.
"Sleeping again as always?" asked a voice sarcastically. Api's smile turned upward into a smirk as he opened his eyes and propped his head up to look at the teenage boy.
"Syrus" he said with a small chuckle. The kid had been adopted by Mizu some years ago. He was an odd kid too, coming out of a vase of all things. Still, the kid was the closest thing to a friend Api had. Api had been watching Syrus grow up since the day the vase was brought home.
"What's up?" Api asked. "How was that sleepover you had with your lady friend? Ya get lucky?" he asked, the last part heavily sarcastic. Syrus took a playful swipe at the cat, scooting him over so he could sit down on the couch as well without worrying about crushing him.
"Well, we're dating now..." he admitted finally, blushing. Api laughed and clapped his paws together.
"Now that's good news!" he said, laughing again. "So does Uncle Api get to meet this lovely lady?" he asked. Syrus chuckled.
"Hopefully," he said, petting Api behind the ears. Api purred.
"Sounds like I was meant to fall asleep on the couch today, eh buddy?"
Syrus only nodded, turning on the TV, and the two just watched random shows for the rest of the day, chatting.
