Malandra was sick and tired of waiting for her sister to come get her, she knew she should but curiosity was getting the best of her, she wanted to see the ruins as much as the next dragon that didnt know of their races home land and the only way that was going to happen would be if she went and saw for herself what it was like. She arrived at the ruins and started looking around, deciding to surprise her "Tran!?" She called out, walking along, looking at the ruins of what looked to be once a great place to live, she turned around a corner and, looking at one of he old buildings she didnt notice the other and nearly banged into him "oh im sorry" she said stopping abruptly "I never saw you there" she said smiling at him.

Malandra blushed a little and checked the other out to make sure he was alright "im sorry, I never saw you there" she said, finding no signs of injury, that was good "im Malandra, my sister, Tranquility, came here several days ago, im looking for her" she said as she smiled at the other.

"Thats good, no need to harm my sisters friend, something tells me she wuldnt be happy" she giggled "anyway, I guess I will find her somewhere, I wish to explore this place first, any suggestions on where to start?" She asked the other dragon, thinking she might find her sister if she explored a bit.

"Gem cave?" She asked before noticing the blush "the gem cave is blush worthy...?" She asked, obviously not having any idea as to what went on with her sister and the other one.

"I would love to see it" she said giggling softly to myself "so...may I ask?" She said following him "why your blushing? Surely a bunch of gemstones cant be THAT embrassing" she said to him, she made gemstones all the time, she could get any rock and turn them into 100% authentic gemstones and not once has she blushed so...perhaps there was more to this? And being the rather curious one, she wished to know what happened even if it wasnt any of her business.

"My sisters reaction? Er...my sister isnt one to get embrassed or shocked or whatever at gemstones, shes seen me make them enough, she knows what gemstones are, do I have to ask her what happened?" She asked the other, thinking she might just have to, she was starting to think this guy was keeping rather tight lipped about what happened.

Tranquility had returned to the cave earlier and started to sketch it, she had been there for the past hour and a half, she wanted to get this perfect.

"I shall just do that then" she said smiling at him as she followed him into the cave.

Malandra walked in and grinned at the beautiful colors and the shine of the gemstones "it's...its beautiful" she said as she realised where she must have gotten her ability from, well, she knew it had to be some sort of dragon ability, dragons seem to like shiney things. But still, it was nice to actually SEE where her ability came from and not just pass it off as something some dragons could do, there WAS at least ONE reason for how she came to have this ability. "Lets see..." she said looking around and noticing a pebble on the floor, she laid down, picked it up and covered it with her other front hoof and concintrated, a warm soft glow shone out from under her hoves then died away.

Malandra took one of her hooves away and in the place of the pebble sat a beautiful, authentic ruby "I now see first hand where my talent comes from" she said as she showed him the ruby "I knew dragon liked gemstones and other shiney objects but I never have seen PROOF of it, at least now I know I wasnt the only one who could make them, that is, IF they made them, though" she said getting up and walking over to one of the walls and feeling them. "Some of these were indeed found and some made, though, unless you know what your looking for, you couldnt even tell the difference" she said as she looked down her her ruby and sighed, to bad she couldnt even get past a size of a small rock, she HAS been wanting to get a boulder changed into a sapphire or something, now THAT would be awsome even if it might never be able to be done.

"I thought I heard voices" Tranquility said as she poked her head around the corner "Malandra, what did I say?!" She said walking over to her sister and nuzzling her "nice to see a familure face" she said as she kissed hr sisters cheek "how are you though? Hows mother and father and our siblings?" She asked curiously.

"Their fine, though they ARE probably wondering where I got to, all I did was leave a note" she said smiling sheepishly.

Tran sighed "Malandra! What have I told you!? You must never leave notes, you know mother will worry!" She said with a sigh "besides, you know mother is alot more sensitive then most sensitive ponys given her work..."

"It's fine! i swear, she will understand, besides, I am with you, if anyone can take care of me, you can, she knows I will be in good hooves" she said as she nuzzled her sister.

Tran sighed "I dont have time to babysit you but I guess you spending a day or so here wont kill me" she said as she nudged her sister playfully.

"Thank you, Tran!!" She grinned "I promise, I will behave myself and do everything you say!" She said as she ran further into the cave to have a look.

Tran sighed and shook her head "great, this is not what I want but, oh well, shes here now, I might as well make the most of it" she said as she turned around and looked at the other dragon "so, how have you been?" She asked smiling at the other.
