Ryan simply shrugged. It was his method of politeness - append their proper title depending on your status compared to them. He'd been taught that from a young age, and he'd simply stick to it. He then stepped out, following Yuki, stopping just as he left to turn back to Hirimi. "Lock up when you leave, Hirimi," he said, before walking down the hall and out of sight.

Melohim walked up to the office door with cool optimism, his black ears forward, tail swishing with each step. As he approached the door, he tapped lightly on it three times.
"Is anyone here?" he said loud enough to be heard thought the door.(he hoped)

Ryan was still busy stamping documents as hell butterflies fluttered in and out. He looked up as he heard someone call, and, taking another document from his "in" tray. "Come in," he said, stamping the document and placing it in the "out" tray, where it was taken away by the hell butterfly that had brought it in.

Hearing acceptance Melohim calmly entered the office, and walked to the front of the desk. Bowing slightly, he said, "Hello, I am Melohim Var. I'm one of the new graduates from the academy. I was accepted into the 8th squad, but when I went to the captains office there was a note that said to come here. I'm sorry to intrude, but I'm not exactly sure what I should be doing while Tansen Taicho is away, did he leave any instructions Captain...."
He paused, not remembering this captains name.

((ooc: Let me know if a mess up, I'm still new at this cool ))

Ryan looked up from his stamping, placing another paper on the "out" tray and sighing. "I've received no instructions concerning a permanent assignment for 8th Division, so really, your only option is to train...wait a minute, new graduate?"

Ryan stood up, walking around the desk to where Melohim was. "Let me see your zanpakuto."

"Ok" Melohim was somewhat hesitant due to the tone of the captain voice, but could not and would not disobey. He drew his zanpakuto and handed held it out horizontally

Ryan took the zanpakuto and looked it over. Running a finger along the blade, he raised it above his right wrist and brought it down.

The blade broke cleanly as it hit his wrist, which was undamaged. "Piece of crap," he said, dropping the handle end into his wastebasket. "If you'd have attacked me with that, I would have been able to cut it easily with my own zanpakuto. It can slay basic hollows, but for anything with almost any sort of power, it won't have much, if any effect. As for shinigami above fifth-seat level or hollows at gillian level..." Ryan snorted, "...well, I hope you can run fast or yell really loudly."

Ryan stepped past Melohim, towards the door. "Come on, let's get you your actual zanpakuto before you start training with any other shinigami."

"Yes sir" Melohim was rather shoked that his blade was broken so easily. Not that had any personal attachment to it, but just at the sheer strength of the captain. " If I may inquire, were are we going?"

Ryan didn't look back as he continued to walk to the door. "There's an area by the Shinigami Academy specifically for obtaining one's zanpakuto. We're going there, obviously." Ryan put a hand on his zanpakuto's grip, remembering when he had gotten it - it hadn't been that long ago, at least, it didn't seem like it.

"Sorry, while I figured there would be places we could train, I didn't know what or were they were." Melohim"s ears turned back slightly showing his distaste a being rebuked so easily

Ryan shrugged. "You're a recruit, that's normal. We've all been recruits at least once. Now let's get moving and get you an actual zanpakuto." With that, Ryan left the office, heading toward the zanpakuto training grounds and simply assuming that Melohim would follow.

Melohim shrugged and followed the captain closing the door behind him

Ryan entered from the 5th Division, walking quickly over to the closet. Opening it, he took out a single soul doll, that he had found when renovating the office. Looking at it, he simply gave a single nod. "Time to do this...and if I die, so be it."

With that, Ryan left, not bothering to lock the office. If he died, no one else would be able to use it.

Ogato walks towards Ryan's office with his head down seeming to be in very deep though. As he approached Ryan's door he raised his hand pausing before knocking. Once he completed his though he snapped his fingers and knocked twice waiting for Ryan to respond.

Ryan was in his office, poring over some reports that he'd gotten. "Attacks involved two Espada-class arrancar, ranks as yet unknown, one female and one male, the female with brilliant red hair and a seraph crown as her mask remnant...god damn, they could have gotten me that report earlier." Hearing the knock, he didn't look up. "Come in," he said distractedly, filing the report away and picking up another.

Ryan wanted to slam his head on the desk. The war hadn't been over for two weeks, and Asuma hadn't filed any paperwork, or even shown up, for ten days. This was the military, and ten days off the map...after a week he'd sent out the requests for his location, and the last one had just come back dry. Asuma Haruka had vanished off the map. What was worse was that this report brought another bit of news: at the same time that Haruka had left, so had Lieutenant Kimishima of 10th Division. "Well," Ryan said, "whatever the ******** they're doing, they'd better have a good excuse for it, and they'd better hope that the Central 46 got a new shipment of sake in the night before."

Ryan pulled out three sheets, eash with the emblem of the Gotei 13 Court Guard Squads on it. Most of the text was printed, but there was a blank for a name and another blank...for crime. These were forms for arrest warrants, and at the bottom were three signature lines. One was seperate, it was for a Judge of the Central 46 to sign, but the other two were worth the same as the Judge, as they were for Captains. The finished product of the first one looked like this:

TO ALL MEMBERS OF THE GOTEI 13 COURT GUARD SQUADS AND ALL SUBDIVISIONS THEREOF, AND ALL OTHER SHINIGAMI RESIDING IN SOUL SOCIETY OR UNDER THE EMPLOY OF THE CENTRAL 46 CHAMBERS:
Complaint under oath having been brought before me that the crime of Desertion has been committed, and accusing Haruka Asuma of the same, you are hereby commanded forthwith to arrest and detain him until such time as he can be brought before the Central 46 Chambers.
-Ryan Feldric, Captain of 6th Division

For once, Ryan signed the sheet himself. He then wrote out the next one to Ezru, this time sending out four copies, with one each to the necessary recipients and another to Evil, who was Ezru's Captain. Ryan then watched as the Hell Butterflies multiplied and flew off to their destinations, putting a paper clip on the originals to keep them together and placing them off to the side on his desk. As he waited for Ogato to enter, he wondered what could have driven two Lieutenants to desert, and hoped that they hadn't been part of a mass desertion.
