"I'll have to remember it," Skywise said, chuckling as he slipped off her back to walk beside cutter, falling onto place.
Cutter's shoulders straightened and his head lifted.
Ember slid down and went to stand a bit behind her father and skywise.
Leetah walked alongside Caelestra. *wolves will always be wolves,* she sent privatly, her tone laced with affectionate humor.

She blinked *I'm... not sure what that means. I've still never seen a wolf. Pony's are all I know..*

*the others must be near, so they're showing who their alpha is,* Leetah sent, amused.
Cutter stopped, leading the others to stop as well.
Bloodhunt stalked forward, red tipped tail moving violently.
New wolf came next, close behind him, looking around with curiosity, but also a battle hardened wariness. *you are Cutter?*
Cutter nodded once. *This is your cub?* he asked, recognizing the mental voice as the one who called himself New Wolf, sire to Snow racer.
Blood hunt stared at him then snorted angerly.
*Ah.... no, this is Blood hunt, who has joined us. Also with us, back a bit is Two Moons, a storyteller.*
"Blood hunt," Skywise said, with a grin. "Remind you of anyone, Cutter?"
Cutter blinked and glanced at skywise.
"He talks about as much as strongbow does too."
Cutter tipped his head back laughing.
"I am skywise, this is Cutter, blood of ten chiefs, alternatively too humble for his own good, and too ambitious. That is my companion Caelestra who has been helping us to find other elves. That is Leetah, Cutter's mate, and the cubs are ember and Suntop." He grinned. "twins."
New wolf stepped back wide eyed "Twins?"
"Yep," skywise said with a grin.
"Twins...." New Wolf whispered.

*Oh I see...* She blinked as the other er.. Pony Elves came forward. She eyed the one they called Bloodhunt warily but smiled and nodded in greeting to them as she was named. She blinked once again and frowned "Umm.. are twins... special? I know of several twins that have been born..."

"there are more twins?" New wolf asked, astonished.
"Not amongst the wolfriders, or the sun folk," Cutter said, proudly.
"Sunfolk?"
"We should exchange stories as we travel, we are looking for the other wolfriders, and a holt," Skywise said.
"So why not stay here. We can use this for a holt, and maybe they will come while we are exchanging stories. Other wise you could all keep missing each other's trails at the streams," New Wolf suggested.
Skywise glanced at cutter.
Cutter shared the glance and thought about it, then nodded. "For the time being, we will holt here, and send every night for our kin. If we do not fond them in one moon, we shall search again."
Leetah smiled warmly.
Skywise grinned. "Looks like an upslope ahead cutter. A nice hill like we had in the original holt."
Cutter nodded. "I am looking forward to hear how a goback and his cub came to be in the woods, and in such, interesting company.
Blood hunt grunts.
"and I what sunvillagers are," New wolf said with a nod. "Come, my chief."
"Hold it!" Blood hunt growled. "He isn't my chief."
*is that proof he's more or less like strongbow?* Skywise sent privately to cutter, amused.
"He's cutter, great chief of the wolfriders," New Moon said. "we're elves. In odd form, but still, and look, we all have wolves on our flanks, it must be that the highones wished this."
Cutter smothered a snort laugh.
As did skywise, though he was not as successful. "Wolves on their flanks, but no clothes," he said amused.
Cutter laughed then glanced back at himself, wondering.
"We don't," Skywise said with a chuckle. "I don't anyhow."
"You already checked."
"She helped me check," Skywise said with a laughing grin.
New Wolf managed to look embarrassed. "It's not like we can exactly make clothing like this."
"Well why not?" Skywise asked.
*Big talk for some one who needed to be shown how* Cutter jibbed, letting Caelestra hear the sending.
*you had to be taught by your daughter.*
*A chief can always learn from another chief, now hush.*
*Oh is that what you and Khavi were doing? Learning?* (Mun sweat bead. not exersize!)
Cutter chose to ignore that. "It seems that is something we have to discuss as well. I wish Moonshade where here, however."
*To go with the strongbow double?* Skywise sent privately

Caelestra sighed.. its seemed there were a LOT of differences between regular pony and these.. Elf ones. Funny.. Emrys made no mention of how important twins were to them.. but maybe he didn't know. She blinked as the sending came through and gave Skywise a questioning look *Show you how to do what? Make clothes?* Though she assumed they all realized she didn't wear them either.

New Wolf nodded and lead in. "Follow me please."
Blood hunt glared at them all, almost challenging them.
Cutter walked to where he would have to pass Blood hunt then looked at him, meeting his eyes squarely, and holding his gaze with one just as intense.
Skywise moved to stand beside Caelestra, grinning a bit. *Cutters won against Strong bow.* He commented privately to her, nuzzling close, then blinked as there was a clink. he looked down to see the lodestone attached to one of her chains. He chuckled a bit. The last time they were close enough for that to happen when they weren't flying... he had other things on his mind...

She nodded *I take it Strongbow is... similar to him?* Not sure how she felt being around TWO glaring, gruff pony's. She also blinked and looked down "Oh... they attached... like a magnet. Its a stone through right? "
