~Why do I dream of you...~
A sigh came from her and she pulled herself more up the sturdy rocks and picked up Saffron with one tail and curled him close to her. Nodding to her love. "Its alright then. Go on~ I didn't smell anything when i came here neither.
Saffron giggled and started blowing bubbles~ along and aside. "I wish Lith were here. She'd enjoy all of this~! Rocks.. so much adventures!" He laughed making more bubbles. Which shouldnt be always done when they were looking for a place to stay in somewhat secret til everything blew over.
"You really miss that girl huh?" She asked softly.. "Even if she-" Softly she slid her tongue over one of his wounds. Mothlike as usual.
Saffy looked up and whinced a little when his wound was licked. Since his fur was almost like made of soap~ putting soap over wound slightly hurt. Like a papercut. "Huh? of course I miss her! She is my friend!" Smiling brightly and then tilted his head in question as to what 'she' did exactly? He closed off the memory when Lith attacked him.. Smiling. "I can't wait to see her!"
She looked up and sighed. Thinking on how she really didn't want Saffy to hurt at all but she couldn't help it.. Nuzzling Saffy she picked him up by his scruff and jumped over to flatter ground and then sat next to a tree. Waiting~

He gave them each a reasuring lick before climbing over the last obstacle and slipping through the crack. Once past the narrow entrance the cave was roomy and on several layers down to the dirt and lit by the light coming through several openings in the rocks even smaller than the entrance he'd used. Sniffing about revealed that there hadn't been any inhabitants since Isoke's last stay. Bel grinned at this reminder of his adopted sister and her willingness to give up her comfort for Bel and Ren's future.
Water trickled through one end revealing the second possible exit. Right now one would have to slither through the water itself to get out but he and Isoke had begun work on a tunnel through the dirt. It would also make a better entrance without the steep climb, but it was less than half complete.
Everything checked out so he returned to the others. "All's clear. No one's been here in a while. Come on in my dear. Let me carry the little one." Without leaving a chance for arguement Bel lifted Saffron by the scruff and slipped back into the cave...

She slowly followed, not really objecting to him carrying Saffron. It made her lightly giggle inside when he did so.
"HEY D8! Im not a toy!" He wiggled a bit and then stayed still so he could better be transported without too much trouble. His fur a bit soapy from the time they drank.. Its like the more he drank, the more it would fuel his bubbly soappy fur. Once inside, his cyan eyes darked. "Wow.... Its like..like.."
"A pirate cove." Finishing Saffron's sentence.. Her body scrunched and slicked her way in.. Glancing about where the cracked lighting would allow to show her.. As she examined the place.. She believed this would be a good 'nest'. But not from pure thought- no. Just of instinct.
"REN REN! Can wes stays here!" He clapped and slipped out of Belial's maw- jumping around, excited. "Its so puuurty!~" He trotted not to far from Ren's legs. It was rather big- well. Everything was big if you were a pup after all.
She stopped.. not fully wanting to explore it all now.. Then she turned and trotted back to Belial.. One of her tails curling around and sliding off of saffron's body.. In a motherly affection. Softly she nudged his cheek and purred. "I love all the places you have shown us. I thank you.."
"I think that means Ren wants dis one toos." Nodding and making bubbles fly out of the cracks from the rocks..

Belial sat back and grinned at their reactions. "I take it perhaps we have a winner with this one?" he asked giving Ren a playful glance. "I'll admit when I think about it this is probably the best choice, especially once the tunnel is completed and there's a better way to get in and out. There's a certain security in being within rock."

"I second that then." A smile crossed her and nodded as she took another couples steps in to it.. Then glanced back at her mate.
"Security~ like no other pirates can get in~" Saffron sang with a light note in his voice. "Tis the best place ever!" He charmed and padded his way over to a small.. what it looked like to be a puddle. But it was somewhat big and probley knee deep. "Wow.. Can I sleep near the puddle?" He pointed it out which was on the far right side of the cave..
A soft chuckle escaped her. "Well. I believe father would approve if he had the chance." Nodding softly. "Yea.. No Saffron. Lets not stay TOO close to the puddle's edge. Maybe a lil way aways?" Striding over and putting a paw in it.
"AWW!!!" A light whimper escaped and pouting was involved too. "Belllllll~~~~ Tell Ren not to worry so much D8! Im a big kid! "

Belial purred content with their satisfaction with the place. He laughed as Saffron discovered the one spot where the water pooled. He jumped down from his spot still near the entrance and walked over. "I know you like the water but sometimes one can roll about in their sleep and I wouldn't want you to fall in. So lets try for a safe distance away. There's plenty of time for water when you're awake." The last thing he wanted to think about was the kit drowning in his sleep while he and Ren were watching him. A slight shiver when through him.
He looked to Ren. "We can perhaps get some rocks down her to encircle it to make it safer for young ones," he suggested.

Nodding to what Belial was saying, for she knew in her head- it was only logical that one can't sleep near water.. But. She herself didn't listen- and she almost drown in midst sleep.. but from then on, even sleeping near water- she would stay in one spot.. and not get eaten by the currents..A god must have been watching over her..
"But...but.. with bubbles I can float!" A light whine but then it was subsided since it was two against one. Darn- he wished there had been at least ONE other kit with him.. Maybe they could team up like Ren and Belial did.. Sighing he took a few steps back and floaped there looking at the water. Tail swishing from each side.
Ren tilted her head and sat down, swishing all her tail after examining the water. It was dept enough for a kit to drown in~ and maybe a very.. rumage adult in their sleep. "I think rocks surrounding it would be best. And I could possibly help you with some of the tunneling?" She asked and looked up at the cracks.. the day light had burned rapidly and she didn't know what she could do to stop it. But definately.. tonight something was gunna happen. She felt it in her bones and it made her uneasy.
"Rocks!? Then I can't get to the water! AT all!" He sized the imagenary rocks like past more than his paw could reach on his hind legs.

"The tunnel is definately a primary project the path up can be rather difficult and I like the safety of having a second exit." Future kits in the place other than Saffron and other adoptees where definately on Belial's mind. He then noticed Ren taking note of the fading light. "Did you want to stay here tonight dear, or do we need to get Saffron back?" He wouldnt' want Saf's parents worrying about him...
"The rocks wouldn't be that big, we wouldn't be able to get them in the door. Just enough to keep one from rolling in but small enough to get over when you're awake and want water."

"I agree... Rocks then. Big enough to not drown but small enough to get over.." Her voice soft and something about it was lone. Like running.. She leaned down and licked the water in a padding it soft of way. Like a pup. "Its fresh water to. Must be composed from rain water.." Nodding. Her eyes swirved to Belial when he asked~
"I think I would be up for staying here for the night. Saffron's parents isn't due to pick him up til tomorrow."
Saffron looked up and then looked at the water. "Fine... Can I have one foot in it at least~?" His voice rather serious.. It was bout time though that he slept.. he felt the sands already go one him.. A yawn sufficed and his head nudged against his arm.
Softly she turned to Belial after looking at Saffron lay.. and drift. "One foot."
Then automatically the kit put a foot in, then after didn't stir.
Then she slowly got up and moved beside Belial, nudged him before walking softly outside. Knowing that if anything she would hear .. like her senses told her. Nodding to herself inside.. And she crawled out of the cave.. Walking a few steps out to only be greeted with the sun slowly disappearing in to the mountains. Her ebony eyes in a blank stare. A large breath was held then..

Belial tilted his head looking curiously at Saffron the kit seemingly content to just have his foot in the water. "Interesting," he said quietly shaking his head.
He gave Ren an affectionate lick before she walked outside. He found a rock and nudged it over between where Saffron lay and the water, just in case. A quick circle of the cave and he decided to join Ren and see if there was anything they'd need to make the place more comfortable for the night.

When he finally came out. She was laying down.. her front paws across each other on top of a rock.. With her chin setting on top of them. Black eyes.. closed when he neared. She could hear him.. she could smell the blood moving..
The tip of her ear twitching.
"Belial." Her voice soft.. looking up at the night sky.. where the stars slowly started to come out of hiding. Then she turned her head. Doubt.. thick laid down layer of doubt. "Belial Im sorry. I .. I don't know.. I don't know if I.. I deserve this." Conformity. "You've been to kind to me.. and for so long. Thank you." A smile crossed her.. Still not knowing if she'd be a good.. mate. Maybe care for kits of her own right? She didn't know if .. living with herself would be safe for Belial.. She almost cut him up! .. Those memories still fresh in her mind.
Saffron still asleep.. Thankfully he could. Such kit had some pretty tough times too.. Maybe thats why.. she could. Somehow.. get to the same level as Lithium. Lith also had a side that others.. would hate her for. But in this mind set.. she began to think Saffron.. was acting more like Belial. Accepting.. the side that others shuned. They should. It was dangerous- bloodthirsty. Would attack at any given moment. A demon. Her ears slicking back and a sigh escaped her.
Kimi.. He saw the breaking of her face mask..Which she thought was the real under lined reason why they had to part ways. Maybe she had to do the same in the future with Belial. Never wanting to imagen such things.. Belial had started mending her heart..

He smiled admiring her for a quiet moment before approaching. Her stuttering doubts melted him, and her thanks... He purred and layed beside her not quite snuggling, leaving that choice to her as he often did when she was in such moods.
After a time he replied, voice soft and thoughtful, "I'm a demon of pride dearest, named for a fallen angel, the same thoughts have crossed my mind. What did I do right to earn what we share?" His eyes turned serious, "And we do share something special. I know you feel it too or you wouldn't be here with me now." He placed a paw under her chin to look into her eyes. "You've been troubled all day. Tell me my love, my heart what's wrong? Don't forget I know there is more to you than the precious princess I met so long ago." He too remembered the firey demon that had struck at him. Knowing it was there he was not afraid, he viewed it as a mystery to solve. But he feared it wouldn't be until she was ready to admit to her otherself. Failing that he'd confront her father himself for an explaination. There had to be a reason and her father would know it.

"Yes.. something unspeakable. Hm? This bond of ours." A slight smile.. Gazing to him. Almost afraid to be next to him.. she left that space between them... No. Can't hurt him again. No more getting too close.
"Just.. regret of what happened is all. It seems it has recorded itself in to my memory.. and won't let me forget. Replaying back to me like a haunting." She softly brought a paw free to touch his face with the bare digit.
"I feel that- which is too much I believe I can handle. This bond. So different.. Hopefully sturdy." Softly one tail laid on top his spade tail.. "Heh. Everyone calls me princess. Is it that you are the ones needing so much of a princess that you deemed an unworthy one a princess out of wim?" Such the child of doubt. These.. words laid a blank space of safety for her. Not too close but enough to communicate her feelings. "But If I am a princess.. You know you must have been a prince. Hidden under that roughnesss." Almost a teasing manner for she knew Belial as only one of the kindest ulayas she had ever met.

He leaned into her soft touch and twinned his tail around her's. "Unspeakable? Oh but we've spoken it love," he grinned trying to lure her out of her melancoly. "Many of us have regrets and memories that haunt us. We need to keep going though and live our lives. Its easier with a partner, and you have one. Never fear that."
He moved closer her small touches making him need more contact. "You were always the princess beloved, kind, sweet, wanting everyone to get along and be happy. You sacrificed your own happiness for everyone else. Everyone's princess." He wrapped himself about her possesively, "Well you're my princess now," he said, a bit of his own darker nature coming through in a tone of proud possession. A purr and lick between her ears though were very much the loving mate she had made him.

Her ears went up.. and then softly she nuzzled when he got close enough. Yea.. The whistle that brings bonds. "Its easier with a partner you say? So.." Before she knew it her tail was engulfed in his.. then.. then his body. A blush covered her whole face..
This possessiveness- she never really felt that from anyone.. Everything was so loose.. even Jeiyana knew such things weren't done. Kimi- Yes. Kimi had made his paws never curl tight on her before. Possessively.. since he .. thats what he wanted. Someone to take Rennoa away. That was her mind set which killed her inside. The one person she wanted to be possessive over. DId not take it- and nao.. nao..
Softly Rennoa snuged her head under Belial's with a pur. Almost forgetting the past memories that had led up to this point. A like to his jaw- and in to his cheeks as the stars filled the sky and the moon shone over them..
"Still a princess.. non the less. But at least I have one I can call my own. Sir Belial. But Im tired of bring a princess." She slowly turned around in his arms.. letting her back face the ground as herself faced him. Softly bringing her paws to his cheeks and her possessive tails around belial like an octopus.
"All my sacrifice led to something at least.." Softly pressing her maw to the dark one's. "Be.. be my king then. I'll be your queen.. As long as you'll have me." A smile soft with a light laugh. "Princesses and fairytales of princes are for kits." Nudging her maw and nose in to his neck. "Did you forget? I am no longer a kit."
