Irritation flashed across Riley's eyes and then went away as she repsonded: "Stop sniveling you coward, If you want to be a warrior in the Terenalb army, then you will need to learn to fight your own battles"

Lateef hears the guard complaining and says "hey you! stop talking and fight! or else you won't make the cut for my army." At that point she goes to disarm Rufio by taking one of her sais and spinning it and locking his sword between the stem and the prong. Then she threw it behind her. She successfully disarmed his weapon.

"War is not fair my friend" she replied. She picks up his sword and hands it to him. "now do you want to continue with the practice or do you want to postpone it for another day?" She then looks around and notices that she got a little carried away and had defeated all seven of the guards too quickly for she was not yet tired.

Rufio out of breath takes his sword and says,"Thank ...you...But...I think... I'll... call it... quits... for now,... sir." He takes a deep breath and says "Thank you for not killing me,... completely" he mutters as he bows and walks away.

"Nicely done!" she says nodding her head and then motioning for her sister to walk with her through the grounds as they talk. "I have just decended from an audiance with Emperor Kurrayo, who wishes for us to go on a short journey to Viderterre to gather some information" she walks a bit in silence waiting to see if Lateef has any comments to make.

Lateef starts to step toward her sister saying "Journey? eek I love a good adventure". She follows very intently, listening to the commands.

"I thought perhaps you'd feel that way" she says as a soft smile creeps apon her face. "I believe I am going to approach lady Willows about joining us on this mission, however we will require one other to assist us with her safety." with that she stopped and looked at her sister. "while I am gathering Samantha, please go and recruit whom ever you think would be best suited to join us, meet me at the stables by noon so that we may leave." she concluded and walked past her sister back into the palace.
((Samantha i'm going to draw you into this now, Arimina, please pm kineta about that final person, and then we'll rp at the stables in a bit))

After searching the palace thoroughly (and waisting nearly 2hrs) and finding no sign of Lady Willows, Captain Riley is forced to head outside the palace grounds. Once outside the grounds the main streets are bustling with everyday business. But even at the more fashionable shops there is no obvious sign of Samantha's pressence. It isn't until reaching the public rose garden that pleasantly divides the middle and upper class from the poor that she finds Lady Willow leaning over a lovely yellow rose with pink tips.

Riley had spotted Samantha the moment she had entered the garden, but she took a moment to look around at all the different roses that existed here, before taking a few steps towards Samantha and making sure that her movements were noticed by the other lady.

Samantha had her head bent over the rose, enjoying the sweet fragrance coming from it. Out of the corner of her eye she saw Riley approching and quickly got back up to a completely errected position.
"Hello Riley! How can I help you?"Samantha asked calmly, a warm smile on her face.

"Reconnaissance M'Lady" she said as she finished her walk towards Samantha. "The Emperor has requested that we do some investigating near the Viderterre border, and I felt that you would be of great aid to our mission" she concluded and then decided to add "Should you have the time that is." at the end, she bowed her head slightly in respect.

"I would love to help you guys out on your mission. I actually have plenty of time right now, hence the reason I was enjoying the beauty of our garden. May I ask when we plan to leave?"Samantha asked quietly.
