As for the calling oneself a Pagan, I know that I'm a few posts behind on this. But personally, I don't mind calling myself a pagan but I usually say I'm more spiritual and that if I had to choose a term I'd say ecclectic pagan.

Joined my first serious magickal order a 18. I feel for you with the kids - that is quite an age range. I have a 13 year old and a 17 year old myself. Don't miss the baby days one bit!!

All in due time. Though my mom keeps making comments about wanting more grandchildren to my older brother and me. Man those comments are getting tiresome.

Well as soon as they start doing things for themselves they start getting into trouble and I hate to break it to you but they don't grow out of that - the nature of the trouble just changes.

Do you mean Eclectic?? An Eclectic Pagan is one who embraces many different ideas. For example: You could be attached to deities of different pantheons such as Loki from Norse and Aphrodite from Greek. Or like you embrace the history and ideas of the Celts and the Buddhists. (That's the best examples I can think of at 8am) but I mean it could be really anything.

I'm pretty sure that's the right term now.. I'm just not sure if I'll ever learn how to spell it... And it probably isn't important, but it seems to match at least part of the conversation... I first started to become interested in Paganism when I was nine.... It was a book on Wicca, but I had a very strong feeling that it wasn't what I was, but kind of close.... *Shrugs* I tend to decide things without having any real reason to.

You read a Wiccan book and knew that it was close, but not quite or tend to do things without any real reason?

neko_usagichan i think wicca is just a big gateway to finding ur true path. In fairness, most of what is called Wiccan today - all this solitaire stuff - isn't really Wiccan. The term got co-oped and it gives the path a bad image.
