Akio breathed in the fresh air of the lake and laid down in the grass, closing his eyes. "This is wonderful..."

"Well, you find most things wonderful," said Thade, walking out from behind the trees. He had previously been walking on the path next to the Forbidden Forest. He walked up next to Akio, and looked down at him in the grass.

Akio nearly jumped ten feet. "Oh Shi- You scared me, Thade. You must be as quite as a mouse!" He laughed and clutched his chest, with his hair fawning around him like a blanket. "What are you doing here?" He was incredibly happy, but tried not to show it to much.

"I dunno...nothing much to do. Homework's finished. I figured an after dinner walk wouldn't hurt. What about you? What are you doing here all alone?" He bent his knees and rested, but lost his balance and fell down into the grass.

Akio laughed. "I come here all the time. I finish my homework pretty quickly, so I always come here, sometimes I'll take a dip." He laid on his side. " I was debating whether I wanted to swim, or sleep." He ran his finger down his own arm, giving himself goosebumps. "Loose your balance?"

Thade got up and shook his head, "Nope, what would ever make you say that?" He smiled. "Well, sorry to kill your party of one, but that's a great idea, and now I'm going swimming. He stripped his robes off and undid his tie. Then he slipped off his shirt, revealing his toned body. "A bit chilly," he said, the September evening finally getting colder.

Akio sat up and laughed, "Don't lie. I heard the thump." he thought for a moment, "Would you mind if I joined you? Or would you rather have your privacy?" He fingered the buttons on his white shirt.

"Whatever," he said. He pulled down his pants and was now in navy boxers, that were too thin, and he knew he was going to get cold in an extremely uncomfortable way. He dove into the water and came up with a grin on his face and weeds in his hair.

Akio was already out of his shirt and pants, leaving him in silky black boxers. He hopped up gracefully and slowly stepped into the water, instantly getting more goosebumps. He hurried in and rubbed the water on himself, then diving in. He came up about ten feet away from Thade, "The water's nice..." he mumbled, wading in the water.

He laughed and dived down into the water and opened his eyes, and the world became blurry.

Akio whispered something to himself, giving him the ability to breath and see under the water. He dove deeper an played with some of the weeds and fish. He turned around and waved at Thade, his hair wrapping around him, feeling silky to the touch.

Thade tore away from Akio and came up to the surface. "You know what I need right now?" He swam over to the edge of the lake where his robes lay. "Gillyweed." He rummaged for the plant in his pockets and pulled it out. "You'll enjoy this. I look rather funny." He swallowed the slimy plant and dove underwater. He looked at Akio, totally morphed.

Akio lip trembled, and the he swam to the surface, laughing. "Oh my god," He swam over to Thade and touched the webs between Thades finger. "What the hell?" He mouthed.

"Crazy, right?" He smiled, staying underwater. "I can't vreathe up there!" he said, pointing to the surface. "Got them from Romania. I was there, studying dragons. Gillyweed has a strange effect on dragons, so the lab always made sure there were plenty. But they gave me quite a few for a bargain price. I use them sparingly."

Akio laughed, "Have any left over? It's not as easy as it looks to keep a spell like this going..." he trailed off and started to play with his long hair. He shook his head slightly, getting focused again. "How did it effect the dragons?" He was truly interested, as he was always fascinated by dragons.
