Well, my name is Rayne but a lot of people call me Ribbon. I am in love with love, which is the reason you I read a whole bunch of romance. It's actually the only genre of books I read, with the subcategories varying from paranormal to historical.
My two favorite authors are J.R. Ward and Sherrilyn Kenyon. I love those two ladies for their writing.
If you want to know more about me don't hesitate PMing me and asking. I don't bite... much.

Hello~! =3 I'm Hope, and I guess I was invited because someone here saw a post of mine in the ED about my love of Sherrilyn Kenyon's Dark-Hunter series.

Mostly, I love romances that are light and fluffy, but second best are the steamy romances with complications, death and tons of plot twists.

I love to write, and I plan to enter NaNoWriMo this year seeing that I failed to write any new fanfictions this summer because I was so busy this summer.

I really like to make my stories something that makes the readers think. I'm a big fan of originality in works, as well. I really can't stand clicheness if I can help it. It just irks me so much if I can't find a way to make something work in a new, creative way.

Cheerfulhope

Hello there. I'm Clara Madeline, but you can call me Madeline if you need to type out some words pretty damn fast. Don't worry, I understand.

Why I joined this guild? Urm, probably just so I can talk to people about one of the things I really love and hold close to me: Romance. I love it in all forms - novels, movies, poetry, paintings, sculptures, etc. I can promise you, if it is romance, I most likely know what you are talking about.

I love coffee and cupcakes. I want to be addicted to cigarettes in the worst way. The kind where I don't smoke eight packs a day, but have on to calm me down with a hot cup of joe from my favorite urban cafe`. In a sick way, it is a goal for me. :] Don't hate me for it and we will all be good.

My top two favorite novelists are definitely Stephen Chbosky and Avi. Well, they are for the moment, at least. I change. And I can not help it.

Sometimes I spend days in front of these black keys trying to type a damn word down, but it will not come to me. So if I do not immediately respond to a message or comment. Do not fret. If I truly dislike you, I will let you know in the kindest way of all time. But, if it takes me a day or two to type back a cheery little 'OH! That would be great! Let's meet in puzzle room-" do not jump to assumptions. As most human assumptions these days are based off of half-a** hunches.

I can love you if you can love me. Let us give it a swing, baby, and we will see how it rolls. ♥

My name is Melaniecat and I am a book addict...oh wrong support group? Oh I get it, it's the guild that I really am happy to be a part of.

I joined because books are like crack and more expensive. I was invited and am very grateful. I love to read and can't seem to think of all the authors that I love.

I did just get through reading Christina Dodd's new series. It was great and the men were hot and the sex was...sorry, can't let everyone know that I'm addicted to the s...sorry. Anyway the books are very hot and if you get a chance to read them, do.

I read all kinds of books. Right now I am trying to decide what to start on next. I have all the time in the world to pick a book since I am just sitting here in Houston waiting to get slapped by Ike. I think I may go with Emma Holly or Laurell K. Hamilton, or well who know. I am open to suggestions.

I also joined because I would like to meet others who love books, want to discuss books, live for books, would break down without books. You get the point.

I also have to add that I am also an Orlando Bloom addict and picture him almost everytime I pick up a romance or paranormal novel. If you know of any good books that I can use him for the lead character in my mind, please let me know.

Feel free to PM me anytime with anything. Look forward to meeting others who share my love for the written word.

Hello everyone!

I'm Dark Huntress Jovi. I guess some of you can guess where I got the idea for my name.

I love romance novels, especially paranormal romance, historical romance, time travel romance, and highlander romances are one of my favorites!!! xd

Some of my favorite authors are Christine Feehan, Lynn Kurland, Sherrilyn Kenyon, Janet Chapman, Kerrelyn Sparks, Nora Roberts, Brian Jacques, Geoffrey Chaucer, William Shakespeare, Thomas Hardy, and a bunch of other authors I can't name at the moment.

I'm a college junior majoring in English (I want to be an English teacher) and I'm a lot younger than that actually sounds. I have a strong passion for both reading and writing. I'm taking both American Literature and British Literature.

I look forward to this Guild and getting to know people who are here. I think that's it for now.

Hi, I wanted to join this guild because I have loved to read for as long as I can remember and I've always loved romance novels. I read every Harlequin I could get my hands on when I was younger. Luanne Rice is one of my more favorite authors presently. I really do like romance with a twist like a little mystery mixed in. I've always gravitated toward gothic romance. Right now, I'm reading Dorothy Eden, Victoria Holt and other older authors like that. I think Rebecca by Daphne Du Maurier is one of the best gothic romances of all time. As far as movies go, I love the Meg Ryan movies: Sleepless in Seattle, You've Got Mail, Kate and Leopold, etc. I didn't like the pairing as well in Harry met Sally. She does much better with Tom Hanks and Hugh Jackman. I also absolutely love My Big Fat Greek Wedding.

I look forward to chatting.

Hi! My name is Layleah. I'm the biggest reader ever! Well probably not ever, I think my mother in law has be me beat. She reads about a book every few days. But yeah, I love books. I also love to write, but can rarely grasp an idea long enough to write more than a few pages. I joined because the lovely Celestial sent me an invite. And I've been looking for a good guild like this.

~What type of romance do you like?

There are different types? All I know is I love romance that revolves around a story, something to strive to over come. When they realize that they were born to love each other, torn apart, only to begin again. Kinda like when I read The Notebook or even Twilight. I know everyone hates those books, but the romance in it was touching.

~Your favorite authors, characters, movies, books, pairings, etc.

I joined this guild because I obviously like romance novels and want to discuss my love with others with the same love

My favorite genres are historical, paranormal, western, and a mix of historical and paranormal. As far as historical goes I like any time period, but especially medieval or ones involving pirates. In the way of paranormal I like vampires and shape shifters.

My favorite romance authors are Heather Graham, Jane Austen, Julia Quinn, Keri Arthur, Nina Bangs, Catherine Anderson, Kelley Armstrong, Mary Balogh, Jenna Black, Christine Feehan, Sandra Brown (only some), Liz Carlyle, Rachel Vincent, Stephenie Meyers, ect.

Non romance authors I like: Cate Tiernan, Tamora Pierce, and several manga series

I like movies with lots of explosions and action, a love story, swords, and whatever else catches my interest. I adore the show and movie Firefly/Serenity, the shows Charmed, Buffy, Dr. Quinn (old I know), Xena (also old), Gossip Girl, Degrassi: The Next Generation, and Crossing Jordan. I am also a Harry Potter geek and a Twilighter.

A few of them are Immortal Rain, Wild Act, Tail of the Moon, Fake, Basara, From Far Away, W Juliet, and Kare First Love.

~Why did you join this guild?

Soo, yeah. I started here as Layleah, but alas I have a new account, and a new way of going about things. I like to read, a lot. I'm currently trying to wrap my head around Jane Eyre. Not doing so well with the Old English way of writing, but I'm trying. I will prevail!

I'm not so much into the sex scenes, at least they have to be tastefully done, like in The Notebook. Reading a paragraph that begins, "She took Reginald's quivering member into her hand..." makes me want to gag actually.
