PrinceVampD Kamikazi-Cloud PrinceVampD No little children would have him under their thumb. Cause he's got such a soft spot for them. So D working at a Daycare would end up all too cute and D would be reduced to mush. lol Still it would be a good job for him I think. I can see it happening in some alternate universe. It would make for an interesting fan fic. Other Jobs that would be hilarious: -Walmart Greeter -Bar Tender (I can see that one happening) -Working at some dusty old book store owned by a little old lady who just love s him to death. Heh, he could also secretly be Yoshitaka Amano. wink  What you remember... that is the illusion. HAHAHA yeah thats great Walmart XD ________ D standing at the entrance to walmart, very deadpan face. "Hi.. welcome to walmart. We have a good deal on socks, buy 2 get one free." D's monotone voice and a look of 'i dont want to be here' or 'shoot me now'. _____ yeah yeah thats classic XD He has to help old ladies get things off of high shelves. Deals with angry consumers. Stocking shelves with diapers or canned goods, getting a meager paycheck while his left hand makes snide remarks. I can so picture that.
D: Welcome to Walmart.
Lady: Drools.
D: Is there anything I can help you with, anything you were looking for?
Lady: Still drolling.
D: .....
Now that I can see, since you know he has that effect on people. xD

PrinceVampD Miss Grete Lyn Ankha1 Hm.. it's hard to picture D as doing something ordinary, but.. in our times i'd think he would be a great mercenary heart heart heart blaugh i know. weve got that part in. and then we totally think that D COULD work with children like that....omg what if he were a teacher? ._. he'd be molested on a constant basis if his students where anywhere near the ages of 14-21. Lol you know its true. i would think hed be like, always being stalked by the students.... AND teachers. i could see his interview too. Principle: *staring* D : um, im here to try out for a job as a teacher. Principle: *shakes head* well, ok lets see what you have here for paperwork. D : paperwork? Principle: HOLY SH** WHAT THE HELL IS THIS?? *pulls out head* D : well, i guess ill go to work then. where do i start?

I think he would not be able to work in our time he would in my opinion travel around the world working with various groups to free them from oppression and dictatorship

byohazrd13 I'd have to agree that he would have some sort of top secret assassin job with the military. i don't think anything else would suit him. but it would be funny to see him working at McDonalds. or a back room person at Target or someplace like that... they work alone a lot. ...I work at a Target. I have a lot of contact with the backroom, being the person who works in Electronics... I think I would drop dead if I saw D hauling a television set for me... *sparkle eyes* ....*cough* Sorry, image of D in a red polo made me.... actually, kinda depressed because I know I'd never be so lucky.

I completly agree. It is kind of along the line of hunting so it would be something he is already good at. He would only kill those who deserve it too. The only thing is that since he would be hunting humans he would get bored really quick because it would present absolutly no challenge for him and then I would imagine he would be so good that he would put everyone else out of business and then he would have random people wanting to kill him because he stole all of the coustomers.

I couldn't think of D having a different job. He is so used to killing vampires that there is no way that he would change that, not in a million years.

Another place that would be funny but somehow fitting for D would be a librarian. Could you imagine it?

D shows up and an unearthly aura chills the kid to the bone. He simplly puts his finger to his lips.
D: shhhh
The kid then has a heart attack from it.

If he was living in our world, and he was still a real Dhampir then that would mean we would have real vampires and he would still be hired as a slayer/hunter. However for centuries in eastern Europe there have been stories of real Dhampirs. And they were always hired to help hunt down real Vampires. But I think in the real world, he probably wouldn't primarily work as a Hunter all the time. He probably would have kept a very low profile and lived a very private life like a hermit. D's very intelligent so he could become a Top Secret Scientist for some Government.
