Flinching as her paw hit something hard, she pulled out a rock, staring at it and licking her lips. She plopped in in her mouth and kept digging, sucking on it happily. A flash of red caught her eye and she stared, seeing a shiny little jewel nestled in the dirt. She pulled it out, staring at it and finding it somewhat pretty. She licked it, and, not liking it's flavor, she threw it out, unintentionally making it land next to Banpaia.

He opened one eye and looked at her, to the ruby and back.
"Wo'mon no like d'shinies?"

She crawled out of the pile and shook all of the dirt off, though most of it stuck, matting her fur. She shrugged, spitting out the rock, "It didn't taste good."

He rolled his eyes and got up, stretching. He'd never understand women. Or men, but this was a train of thought he'd already covered.

She thought for a moment, "I'm surprised 'cause it was real pretty, but it tasted all plain. Maybe if it had salt...hm..." Her ears perked, "How am I feeling? Alright, I guess..."

"That b'good, that b'good." He went back to pacing around her, thinking to himself. She certainly was different, but that only made her intriguing. Maybe she was the one, he couldn't be sure. She didn't seem all that interested in him, so he shrugged that feeling off.
"Now b'my turn t'ask somet'ing o'you, wo'mon."

She looked down as he stared pacing, flicking off a piece of dirt of her paw. She flicked an ear at him, looking up, "Okay..."

He coughed and blushed, as he stopped pacing he mumbled: "Do y'believe n'love?"

She blinked, thinking and blushing a bit, "Love...?" She shrugged, "Yeah, sure...it's obviously there...I mean people fall in love all the time, right?"

He nodded, it was obvious she had no feelings for him. Was worth a shot.
He padded over to one of the little caves and clambered up on top of it, curling up and thinking deeply.

She frowned, looking at the ground for a minute, her tail flicking, "Okay..." She muttered, poking at the grass before looking back up at him, "Why'd you ask me that?"

He debated to himself and sighed, what had he got to lose?

He curled back up.

She blinked, blushing and staring at him, shocked, "Really?" She fidgeted, culring her tail around her and brushing dirt off of it.
