Well, my thanks for the invitation. Good to meet others who enjoy the series. I've read all the novels out currently and seen both movies, also own the manga though I have not started in on it yet.

I would like to thank you for inviting me to this guild.
I was initiated into D's world with the first movie when I was about 11-12, watching it on the Sci-Fi channel at eight in the morning, then begged and pleaded to get it on VHS. I still have that copy too. I had all but forgotten about it until I saw Bloodlust in high school, which just cemented my fandom. Now I have the first two mangas and two of the novels. I have yet to actually read the novels (work and many other books in my way) but I know I'll like them.
D has been my favorite since day one. Except for the videogame. That could stand a retooling.

I started off watching the first movie too, but it wasn't on Sci-fi I didn't even know it was ever on there. Hmm I saw it on STARZ, when I read the title it sounded awesome and back then I had to beg my mom to stay up and watch it.
So you've played the video game too?

So you've played the video game too? I've attempted to play the videogame. After a long and arduous attempt at getting a bloody wrench by jumping toward moving platforms with crummy movement, I had to stop before I became violent with my PS2 controller.

I have an anger problem so because the controls sucked so much I threw the controller and it shattered. xD
I just now figures out what my new years resolution is gonna be. Beat the VHD video game without breaking anything.

I should make a life goal to go to college, earn a video game programmer degree and rewrite VHD for the PS2 so the controls are awesome.

Thank you for the invite. I have just gotten the first novel. and I have only watched the second movie (Bloodlust) on YouTube.com and i loved it. I haven't been able to see the first one yet, I have to see if anyone here has it. lol. I have also just gotten the first novel. I have yet to read it because I have a two other manga series that I am trying to finish first. And I was wondering if anyone could tell me if there was anything that I should know about the books before I start reading them? I want make sure that I don't get confused when I read them. Thanks again for the invitation, I look forward to seeing what will come up in the future in the forum.
