Chiba Smiled smelling the fresh air of the garden. He winced some his body telling him he took to deep of a breath," What beauty" he mummered looking out at the fields. He realized that there wasn't very many people there it actually was sad" I must say it surprises me that no one is here" he muttered looking too Miyuki" good choice" he said as he still walked with her. -----------
Seta layed down once again in the feild of flowers next to the small stream that ran through it, the water was relaxing almost putting him to sleep, until something heavy kicked him" Ow" he barked lifting up and opening his eyes to see both Chiba and Miyuki" Watch where your stepping"

Etsuko and Shizuko sat the wall of the North West Garden. The twins shifted through books, papers, and notecards they had layed out, each one filled with different recipeis.
"What sort of food should we have for the culture festival this year?" Etsuko asked quietly.
"Well Takahata, Ayame and Momo's group is doing shushi and other teams are doing teriyaki, okonomiyaki, and tempura. Mayve we should try to do a region of Japan, rather than focus on one facite of japanese food. It might give us an edge against the competition," Shizuko replied.
"Sounds like a good idea to me, with your drinks and my food our team is sure to win!"
"Who is the other person in our group anyway?"
"Don't know, they are supposed to be a high schooler, but we haven't been told who yet."
"You left the note of where we'd be in the club room, right?"
"Yup! If they saw it they'd come here!"

Northwest Courtyard
"Honestly, first-year highschooler or not, after a couple months you'd think I'd know the map by now." Running a hand through her black hair as she scratched her head, Chieko muttered under her breath and straightened the map in her hand with a flick. As much as she appreciated the beauty of the school grounds, she felt they were just far too large to be practical. She wished she could simply snap her fingers and have a manservant wheel her in a chair to wherever she wanted to go, so she wouldn't have to exhaust herself with trying to find places. Unfortunately, she wasn't home right now.
Casting her dark eyes this way and that as she meandered, she finally spotted the low wall containing the gardens. "Hn, that must be it..." she mumbled to herself, folding the map and putting it away in her bookbag. She made her way into the courtyard, feeling a tightening in her stomach as she glanced nervously about for her group-mates. Chieko squinted at two figures sitting on the wall at one edge of the garden. Maybe that was them? She gathered her courage and walked over.
"Excuse me," she ventured, looking up at the girls seated on the wall. "The Culinary Club... you wouldn't happen to be in the same group as I, would you?"
(( *first post jitters* If I've made any mistakes, please let me know so I can fix them! ^^;; ))

Etsuko and Shizuko looked up from their recipes to see Cheiko.
"Guess so!" Etsuko said.
"Hi I'm Shizuko, and this is Etsuko," Shizuko added, "We are from the middle school."
Etsuko picked up a pile of papers to make room for their team member.

Reassured that she had found the right group, Chieko set her bookbag on the flat surface of the wall and then hopped up beside the other two girls. "Pleased to meet you," she said with a small bow of her head and a polite smile. "I'm Chieko, from the high school division... but I guess you probably figured that out."
Not sure what else to say, she opened her bookbag and rummaged until she found the folder she used for keeping her notes and recipes for Culinary Club meetings and activities.

"We were thinking we could do a region of japan for our booth at the culture festival," Shizuko said.
"All the other groups are doing something specific," Etsuko added.
Etsuko sat swinging her legs back and forth for a moment before continuing, "What do you think, Chieko?"

She gave a slight shreik when she saw Seta. "Gwah! I'm soooo sooo sorry!" Miyuki knealt down trying to see if Seta was as hurt as he'd sounded. "I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sooo terribly sorry! Where does it hurt? Doctors? Doctors!!" Miyuki turned to her bag and started trying to find her cell phone underneath all the books. ((Lawlsy lawls! Lawrence and his charger broke up vicously because Lawrence found out his charger was gay and so his charger left him and he ran down so I haven't been on. ^^))

She fidgeted with her thumbs at the edges of her notes subconsciously as she thought. She'd never had to work with a group on anything for public presentation like a culture festival before, and she was more nervous than excited for the chance. "Umm... it sounds like a good idea. There are so many types of food for different regions, though, aren't there? Which region of Japan are we going to choose?"She looked down at her fingers, blushing at her fidgeting, and folded them in the middle of her notebook. "A... also, there are some regional foods that are more associated with season..." Chieko glanced up suddenly. "Eh... uh... not that we would be making food out of season, necessarily..."

Miyuki blushed and looked down. She always made a fuss out of such things. She'd have to work on it. "Are you okay though?" Miyuki asked.
((You should be. I'd be scared if you understood anyof that. But by the by LAWRENCE HAS BEEN REVIVED!!! We called Dating Even for Lonesome Laptops and hooked him up with a new lovah!))

Etsuko added, "I can come up with anything and make it my own!"Shizuko closed some of the cook books and stacked up the note cards full of recipies.
"We are a bit more familiar with other nations foods rather than Japan's, so we are having trouble narrowing our search. Sempai, you have the most at stake in this competition why don't you take the lead."

Miyuki smiled and used Chiba's hand to get off of the ground. She dusted her skirt and picked up her bag. She looked up at the sky as well. "He could tell he was late by the sky?" She'd half been expecting a clock... She looked around at all the flowers and smiled. She liked flowers.

Chieko's head snapped up from her notebook, a mixture of surprise and fear in her eyes, a bright red creeping across her face. She hadn't meant for her small display of forethought to be taken as a leader's initiative. Chieko was used to working alone, so she was still not sure how to function in a group, and certainly had no experience directing her classmates in a project of this scale. She brought her palms up and waved them in front of her, shaking her head. "I really don't think I would make a good leader... I-I-I just meant that if we do a region, we could make one specific dish or we could make a whole course of dishes... we would have a lot of options, so we should put a lot of thought into which one will have the best chance of winning while trying not to overlap with the other teams..." She tugged self-consciously at the sleeves of her uniform, her cheeks still warm with embarrassment. "I... I mean... eh... what are the other groups doing? If we pick a region, we have to make sure we don't end up making a dish that another team is already making..."

"Well, lets see, there is teriyaki, okonomiyaki, and tempura," Estuko said, "We thought about sushi, but I'm not very good at it yet, I've only been studying for two years."
Etsuko began swinging her feet back and forth.Shizuko looked over at her sister and sighed.
