[ OOC: Haii Satzuiki-san! =]
I'm not really sure of what to post cause I sort of have writers block. ] Tai sat on the roof of a random building, his short, gray hair dancing in the wind. He looked down upon the town's people, showing deep anger upon their sight.
How could those people live on with their lives so happily, when he had to suffer the deaths of his entire family? Well, that would soon change... He thought, clenching his fists into yet even tighter fists.

Abigail's lips parted with a soft gasp. Everything seemed to be...clearer. She could see every dust moat that softly floated in the prisms of light. She could see the gentle waves of heat that danced away from her heater. In a trance, she pushed herself from her bed and gently walked over to her window. Pushing back the drapes that blocked her view, Abigail gasped once more at the gruesome sight before her eyes.
Everyone knew of the recent storms that devastated counties, cities, and even states. Abigail was somewhat used to seeing the aftermath of destruction. But this was unbelievable. She saw shadows. Even though the sun was bright in the sky, the streets seemed to be oozing in various patches of darkness. Abigail looked up to scan the buildings. The shadows were there as well.
"What is going on?" She whispered, horrified.

Nicholas had to only push forward a little more and he would be atop the hillside from where he knew he would see all around the land. He charged through the snow and was there soon enough.
He sighed and took a deep breath. Through the terribly snow storm he saw the town up ahead. It wasnt too far but he could make it easier to get there.
Nicholas took out the stone and closed his eyes. "Volatilis Celeriter." He spoke and the dark stone glowed bright red.
He opened his eyes when the light faded. He no longer stood IN the snow but above it, as if he floated above the ground or was as light as a feather. Also his speed had improved.
He began running quickly towards the city. His speed and agility swift and unnatural he knew he would soon reach this location and perhaps get something to eat.

Abigail quickly dropped the lacy drapes, her hand flying to her mouth. Her breathing was labored, assaulting the air around her with sharp inhaling and exhaling. The stone...
Abigail quickly ran to her bedroom, pausing for a mere moment to look at the object on her night stand. After a few seconds she rushed to the object and gently picked it up. Was it something I said? Something I did? Abigail was completely lost as to how she activated its power.
Turning on heel, Abigail made her way to the front door and slipped on her jacket. There was possibly only one place she could go to find out what on earth was happening. Although nearly every building had been abandoned in the town, most of them weren't chained up. Abigail figured the town's library would still have some books in stock that weren't used up for fueling fires.
She was never one for mythological stories or studied too much of the unknown; but now it was different. There had to be something or someone that could explain. With a determined look and the stone in her hand, Abigail walked outside and made her way to the library.

Levi got off the foof and decided to leave."Wind lets fly."he said and thout of the wind moveing to help him fly and he jumped and flew off."Man i'm so board."he said then speed up.

Nicholas soon reached the town but kept running. He tried to examine as much as he could of the quickly passing scenery. He came to an almost instant stop when he reached what apparently used to be a fountain and he guessed it was the town center.
He looked around, only noticing a girl enter a large building about a block away. Her aura was different from normal humans so he ran in front of the building quickly, you could say teleported considering the extreme speed.
He looked up and managed to read that it was the library. The sign was badly damaged. He skipped up the stairs and pushed the door open. He looked at the girl who had entered not too long ago and wondered what she was doing there. He realized he could also study this power and stone there, it hadn't occurred to him before.
Nicholas quickly stuffed his hands into his pants pockets, holding his stone tightly in his hand. He could see the magical aura of the girl but since he hadnt seen it before he wondered what it meant.

As expected, the library was empty upon Abigail's arrival. The room was chilly, but not to the extent as the bitter cold outside. Abigail couldn't quite suppress the feeling of breaking and entering. It was eerie with no one around. She couldn't shake the feeling of being watched, either. Abigail bit her lip in worry while scanning the various signs. Some sections were completely wiped out. Bookcases lay on the ground, tattered pages softly blowing across the tiled floor from the open draft wind of some window.
Abigail gently grabbed the hood of her jacket and pulled it away from her face; letting it rest on her back. Her cold fingers shook out her long hair, then went back to her jacket pocket to find warmth. Filling her cheeks with air, Abigail sighed and went straight to what was left of the Mythological section.

Nicholas walked slowly after the girl. He held his hands in his pockets and approached the different sections of books. He walked along the end of each section until he stopped at the mythological. He guessed she was looking for something related to the storms and such.
"Hey. Looking for something?" He called to the girl softly and looked at her curiously and innocently. He wondered if the books she needed were still there, the place seemed kind of messed up.

"Hey. Looking for something?" a male voice softly called out. Although it wasn't loud, it still shocked Abigail enough to jump back; her hand reaching for her chest. Because of the sudden movement the stone that was in that same pocket as her hand clattered to the floor, skidding due to the frictionless tile until it stopped at the man's feet.
Abigail looked up in panic, her green eyes landing on the man. He wasn't some burglar or homeless man, so Abigail flashed an apologetic smile. "I'm sorry. You scared me quite a bit." She gently explained. Her eyes flashed to floor, seeing the stone's destination. "I guess you could say I'm looking for something," Her voice trailed off, still looking at the tile. "Just haven't found it yet." Abigail half smiled to herself and looked up again at the man.

Emily looked to the sky. The sun had been covered up now--her only source of heat was gone. " OOh! Just great!", she sighed. Looking around, she decided it would probly be a good idea to find a place to--
Emily's heart beat quickened. The stone, which she only just realized she was holding, pulsed like her own heartbeat in her hand. Instinctively, she closed her eyes. No longer able to see, she began to use her mind to sense the things around her. Naturally, since she couldn't read auras, she could sense very little. But, somehow, she just knew that there was something there...Something unusual....~There!~
She'd spotted it!
There were two growing "sensations" close by. She couldn't tell much more, except where they seemed to be. She opened her eyes, realizing her feet were frozen. " Ayaaaa!", she yelled as she started moving them, pain shooting up each leg. " UUugh! I shouldn't packed a jacket~!!", she yelled as she made a break for the library. It wasn't close enough, though. So, she ran into a run-down building next to it. Even though it was cold, it was warmer in here. " Owwii!!!", she whined.

Nicholas chuckled softly and smiled at the girl. She looked rather mature, and beautiful. He bowed his head to her. "I'm sorry for startling you." He apologized softly and pointed his finger at the stone.
He flicked his finger towards the girl and her stone took off from the ground and was thrown at Abigail. Wind magic was useful especially for lifting things and he was free to use magic around someone else with a stone he thought.
Nicholas took out his stone and showed it to the girl. "So that's what it was." He thought out loud, meaning the aura he saw in her. There was a sound outside or rather.. in the building next to that one. His head shot to the direction and he stared through the wall. It was another with the same aura so another with this power.
He smiled softly and started to wonder how many of them there were.
