It looks to be a Winchester rifle.
I'd say it's not a Marlin because the empty shell is, or appears to be, ejected from the top, unlike a marlin rifle which ejects to the side.
The tool work from modifying it to a hogleg version appears to be decently done, although the finish on the barrel could probably be a little redone.
I can't tell if the end of the stock has a metal buttplate or not, which might indicat if it was proffessionally done, or just a home-gunsmith putzing around in his basement.
I could be wrong here, but there's just about no way that that holds 5+1 .45-70/.45-90/.50-90(?) shells.
HOWEVER, I do know that the Mare's Leg used by Steve McQueens character shot a .44-40, even though he kept .45-70 ammunition in the loops on his belt.
My guess is that that rifle's a replica of a Mare's Leg.
But yes, before you ask, I just pulled that post out of my rear. rofl
