That was somewhat agitating to the heartless...he wasn't much of a risk taker was he? Well...Joachim's loss, but that wouldn't stop Shadow from having what thrill he needed. Though upon being told that the other was going to be taking the safer route...Shadow stopped and glared down at the back of the vampire.

"I don't think so vampire...What makes you think I'll let you go the safe way?"

Joachim didn't want to think of what came next, more so, e didn't want to know. At all.
"Um..." He looked at Shadow hoping he was wrong. "I'm a burden?"

The heartless mused a moment as if he particularily cared what the vampire had made for an excuse. Looking down upon the smaller one, Shadow's tail began to wrap around him as he brought him up to eye level.

"Now..you want to leave? And what will you do..sleep? The night is still young and you couldn't possibly have satiated your hunger with just two humans..."
He hissed slightly, holding him there in the air awating an answer.

Part of Joachim wanted to argue, and part of him simply wanted to ignore the fact he was at Shadow's mercy. "Technically two humans is enough..but..I could take more..." He sighed. "Its just....Part of me just doesn't want to run the risk of getting injured, but, the other part of me wants to test my limits. I suppose I'm just being...lazy is all."
