He grinned. "Aqua wouldn't mind. She collects friends like a person who adores coins." He said with a laugh, raising an eyebrow as the feline circled him. "What, were you some kind of a shark in your past life?" Zuko asked, grinning crookedly.
At the last statement, he just shrugged. "Eh, nothing much has really changed around the house. Sere's older now, though, and suddenly "aquired" a new guitar. And a number of piercings." He rolled his eyes slightly.

Yume smirked. "A shark? Do I look like I could be one?" She said and looked away before pretending to pounce on him and bite him.
Stepping back, she smiled. "I'm a cat. Nothing more, nothing less." She smirked and wagged her tail behind her.
"Wait...say that again? Sere has piercings? Your mother let her?" She blinked in shock. That little girl growing up? It couldn't be.

Zuko grinned, mock-punching her on the shoulder when it was really a light tap with his knuckles. "Ha ha, you'll never be less then anything, Yume." He said with a smile.
He couldn't help but shrug helplessly at the questions. "She just kinda... Sprouted. She cut alot of her hair off, and just left one day before lunch. She didn't come back till we were eating dinner, and she had a nose ring, a few ear rings, and some studs in her cheek. I wasn't even aware there was such a thing as cheek studs!" He finished, holding a hand to his head as he rolled his eyes skyward.

Yume smiled and placed her hand on her should and looked at him hurt. "Did you have to hit so hard?" She said mocking him and pretending he had hurt her. "I will always be me and you will always be you." She nodded and smiled.
Yume blinked. "Wait...she grew, walked out and came back like that? And you mother didn't say anything?" She was in disbelief that a girl could get away with doing something like that. And how painful...who would want to do that to themselves anyway?

Zuko theatrically clutched at his chest above his heart. "Oh no, I couldn't possibly have hurt such a pretty thing!" He grinned, laughing as he let his arms drop back to his sides.
Zuko raised an eyebrow. "Oh, no, mum totally flipped. Sere basically just ignored her and went upstairs, and locked herself in her room. Niko was really mad about it, and she felt kinda guilty; she was afraid it was something she did." He grinned sheepishly.

Yume smiled at his reactions. He was the same old Zuko. "Hurt...you broke me." She pretended to sob.
She sighed. "That always happens. Mothers get mad and then blame themselves and how they raise thier children. Sometimes it just happens." She shook her head.

He chuckled softly at the pretend-cry, and wrapped his arms around her shoulders, grinning at her. "Now I know I didn't hit that hard, Kitten."
He couldn't help but shrug helplessly. "Niko was really upset about it though; she doesn't mind so much anymore, but she still thinks she did something wrong."

"Some people don't know their own strength." She said with a fake sob before looking up at him and smiling. Slowly, she placed her hand on his arm. "And some people don't know when to see acting." She smirking and lightly pinched his arm with her claw.
"I feel bad for Ms. Niko. I'm sure Sere is just trying to be her normal self...again. Even if she does take it too far." Yume said and rolled her eyes. That girl would get into trouble one day...big trouble. She just hoped the rest of the family would be alright.
Brushing her hair out of her eyes, she smiled. "So, tell me something that has happened to you since we last met."

Ziko laughed, grinning and poking her a little in the side. "What, and do you think I'm one of those people?" He asked, grinning crookedly.
The demon just shrugged a little. "Eh, Nik's doing better; she just tries to ignore the piercings. Sere's never really liked her that much, so I'm not too surprised, but I just wish she'd have a care for Nik." He frowned, before shrugging again.
"Hmm, let's see, well, I went surfing with a pink haired girl, as well as went dancing with a green haired on, Iasc and Alida." He said, grinning again.

"Think?" Yume raised an eye brow. "Zuko, I know you are." She smirked, her tail shaking behind her.
"Well, that's good." She said nodding. "Ms. Niko needs to not blame herself. Sere is just...Sere." She said and shugged. There was no other way she could put it.
A sudden wave of jealousy came over Yume. Her tail fluffed up slightly and her ears went up but she stopped the physical changes quickly. "Well, sounds like someone had fun." She smirked. She didn't understand why she was jealous. She had her own things going on.

He chortled, grinning and giving her another hug around the shoulders. "Caught me, Kitten." Zuko said with a wink, laughing softly.
He nodded slightly. "Yeah. Niko may be older then she looks, but she's still got the naivety(sp?) of a teenager. SHe can't help it; if things go wrong, she pecks at it. As many would do." He grinned.
Zuko raised an eyebrow as her tail suddenly twitched, as well as her ears. "What, you know them?" He asked, tilting his head to the side. They hadn't mentioned her, but then they'd never talked about cats. Just surfing and dancing. "It would've been more fun if my Kitten had been there." He said, winking with another laugh.

"Zuko, now you are just being nice." Yume said shaking her head and giving him an evil glare. The glare wasn't meant to hurt at all as she slowly changed it into a smirk around her mouth and her eyes softened. "I know you and women, my little demon friend. You can't turn a blind eye to anything that has a figure and moves." She said putting her hand up and messing up his hair. "Well, that is unless it is your sister."
She looked away and came back with a large grin. "Well, that is unless there is a hidden relationship between the annoyance?" She said trying not to laugh as she crossed her arms in front of her chest.

Zuko started chuckling, laughing as she started ruffling his hair. "Still a little hard, is it?" The demon was still taller then his feline friend, despite him being younger then her. Ahh, the joys of being a male.
He couldn't help but laugh. "No, no more relationship then with you." He said with a rueful smile.

"So what if I'm a little short." She side and crossed her arms over her chest. Her eyes looked up at him and narrowed. "Meany." She said sticking out her tongue. Older or not, she could still have some fun. It wasn't like she was a role model or something.
"What do you mean no more relationship with me? I wouldn't put it past you to have one or more girls at a time." She smirked up at him and brushed a loose bang behind her ear. Sometimes she wished her hair would just stay put. It never liked to do what she wanted.

He responded with his tongue sliding out as well, before he started laughing. "Maybe." Zuko conceeded, not agreeing, but not disagreeing, his gold eyes showing silent laughter as he grinned.
He pantomined a blow to the heart, even going so far as to fall down in mock death. "Kitten! Your words wound me! Can't you even trust your dearest, handsomest, most dashing male-friend to hold his own in a bevy of beauties?" Zuko asked dramatically.
