Edward tilted his head at her. "I understand that you must be confused by all of this, but you have to understand that nobody can know what I did. Okay? I will tell you later, promise." he said, walking over and sitting next to her on the examination table he then hesitated for a moment and lifting her head with his finger to look at him.

Bella looked into his eyes and felt butterflies in her stomach. She smiled faintly. "Promise?" Her eyes looked deep into his. She could see secrets but nothing more. The strange golden color of his eyes seemed to compliment every feauture on his face. Bella could help but notice that he was kind of beautiful. Like art in human form.

"Yes, I promise." he said, smiling his smile again. Just then another doctor walked in, this time it was his 'father.' Carlisle said it was now okay for her to go, and signed her out on all the forms. Edward then got up ready to leave when he looked back at Bella. "Do you need a ride home?" he asked her curiously.

As soon as Mika saw the ambulance arrive, she was out of there. She hated anything to do with doctors. They did a lot of unnecessary poking and prodding. The fact that she was a Werewolf didn't help. She didn't need any doctor poking around wondering why she had an 24 pairs of chromosomes instead of 23. It did interest her, though. Why was the Vampire so concerned about a human? Didn't they usually tend to stay away from them?

Bella was glad to be able to get out of there. She hated hospitals. Which was funny considering the fact that she was accident prone and spent much of her time in them. At Edwards offer she nodded. "Yeah. I'm sure Charlie knows and went to the school and towed my truck home." Bella practically ran out of ther hospital. She was tense the whole way until she got outside then she finally relaxed.

"Okay." Edward said as he lead the way out of the hospital and to his silver volvo that was in the parking lot. "I'll explain in the car." he said gettting in the driver's seat. When Bella got in, Edward started the engine and drove off in record timing. He was waiting for her to start firing off questions again as he sat quietly.
((Nope, sorry. I don't really like Jacob, but he's okay.))

Bella glanced at him. "Okay we're in the car spill it. What happened back there?" She asked not being so harsh this time. She let her voice show all the curiosity she was feeling.

((Gahh I guess I'm stuck playing him then.))
Jacob sat on the couch in Charlie's living room watching the baseball game that his dad and Charlie were so into. Finally he couldn't take it anymore he got up and started to wander around the house wondering why Bella wasn't home yet. It had been almost a year since he'd seen her. He was a bit nervous. Jacob kept reaching up and pulling his pony tail of shaggy black hair tighter until finally his head hurt.

Edward looked at her. "Well, I'm not going to tell you out-right, but I will let you guess and I will tell you the truth." he said. "When you guess right, then I will fully explain everything, that is a promise." he said, driving more towards her house within every passing second. The spedometer was reaching the high 100s. "I am dangerous to be around though, especially for you." he sighed, looking at her face.

Bella scoffed. "You think your dangerous? Your talking to a girl who managed to not only impail myself but put a hole in my wall just by getting out of bed." She looked at him her eyes narrow. She tried to think. "So what are you a supper hero? Because it is obvious you have in human strength." Bella noticed everything outside the car being a blurr and looked at the speedometer. "Hey! Slow down! Are you trying to get us killed?!" She shreiked digging her fingers into the side of the seat and whincing because of the pain in the finger she used to poke Edward.

"Bella, I have much better than human reflexes, nothing will happen." he said matter-of-factly. He then took one hand off the wheel and looked at her. "No, i'm not a super hero... kind of the opposite really." he said remorsefully. I wish he thought. They were getting close to Bella's house now.

Bella looked with a scared look at his one hand that was on the steering wheel. "So your not human and your not a super hero? Well what the hell are you and alien?" She joked and then became serious. "Why with the guessing game? Why don't you just tell me? Your secrets safe with me. I swear." She said looking at him sincerely.-------------------------------
Jake could hear the roar of an engine nearing the house. He quickly went outside with a big smile on his face as he saw a silver volvo pull up in front of Bella's house. Thats not the truck Charlie bought off of us to give to her. He thought but shrugged it off and stood waiting for Bella to get out.

Mika loved the feeling of running when in her wolf form. It was refreshing to feel the wind in her fur. She watched as a Volvo sped by her. She had seen that car at school. What was the Vampire's name? She couldn't remember... She knew quite a bit about Vampires considering she didn't have a pack. She had seen other Werewolves around, but hadn't made contact with them... She arrived home, and changed back behind the house. She could smell something cooking. Mika entered her house, though her window. She then proceeded to the to kitchen.
"Hi mom," Mika smiled. "Whatcha cooking?"
Mika's mom jumped. "I didn't hear you come in..."
"Really? I've been here for a while. I was doing homework..."
Mika's mom look skeptical.
"Did I tell you? The new girl at school almost got hit by a van. Talk about an exciting first day!"
"Is she okay?"
"She looked fine, could walk and everything. She still went to the hospital just to be sure." Mika sat down at the table.

Edward looked at the boy outside and knew he was from La Push. Damn it. he thought. He then looked at Bella "Its because I'm not suppose to tell anybody, anything at all." he said truthfully. "Oh, and by the way, you might be interested in some of the legends of the Quilletes." he said, reaching across her and opening the door. "See you." he said, and drove off down the road. Edward was planning on seeing Bella later that night, watching her through the window though, not in person.
