"That's not how you've made it out to seem all night, even the past few days. But if you want to fake sleep, I won't stop you." Sarai absently ran her fingers along Royal's chest and ab muscles till she fell asleep.
Sarai stirred the next morning as the sun streamed through the curtains, lighting up the natural highlights in her hair. She stretched out on her bed and remembered that Royal had been in that bed with her when she fell asleep. Opening her eyes she looked around and saw him in a chair by the window, watching her. "I take it you didn't sleep?" she questioned as she sat up.

a bit of liberties but i can work with it XD
He glanced up at her and smirked. "Nope... Awake all night... I saw though that you slept quite soundly..." He smiled and leaned back in his chair. "So...Did you dream about what i did to you last night Sarai....Did you enjoy it?" While it was his sense of humor he honestly wanted to know... It ment something to him to know that a women could receive pleasure too.

"So what did you do all night while I slept? I'm glad you are still here, I woke up and you weren't in bed, I thought you had left me." Sarai pulled her knees to her chest and wrapped her arms around them.

Royal smiled. "What do you think i did... once you fell so nicely a sleep i moved to the chair and have been watching you... Doesnt that just make you feel loved." He shook his head and sighed. The contents of last night would never be know to anyone but himself... HE had resorted to something he hadnt done before... He sighed and shook the thoughts from his head. God if it ever got that bad again he would go nuts...

Sarai got a curious look on her face, "I don't believe you. You may have watched me some, but.... that's not all you did, can't be all you did." She saw the look in his eyes when he said he had done so, and knew it wasn't true.

He smirked at her. "Your right...I snuck out for some frash air a while after midnight... But aside from that... I watched your lovely face." He leaned over the bed and kissed her forehead. "Dont worry about what i did last night... We are going to My mothers... telling her im marrying you and leaving...just like that... no idle chatter." He stood up. "Get dressed ill be downstairs"
He wasnt one for romance... but he moved into the kitchen and smiled. "Pancakes" With his cooking skills he easily made up the pancakes. He loved cooking...no one knew that...it wasnt cool to cook. But he loved it... It helped him unwind... The only reason he didnt cook last night was because he didnt think he could... not with everything falling into play...

Sarai slowly got out of bed and walked over to her dresser. Pulling clothes out and laying them on the bed she thought of Royal. She still didn't believe him, he had looked a little worried when she woke up. Looking at the clothes she had set out she picked up a lovely little white sundress with lace along the bottom fringe. Sarai put on the dress, the bottom edge falling around her thighs.
Walking out of her room Sarai smelled food, she got a slightly scared feeling, thinking that her brothers must have come home early. She ran downstairs and into the kitchen, stoping short when she saw Royal at the stove. "You cook?" she asked with an incredulous look on her face.

Royal had found eggs and a bit of bacon in the freezer. He smiled. "Hello...i didnt think you dressed that fast..." He stirred the bacon and flipped a few pancakes. "Yes... I cook...But...only you know this... "
He glanced up at her and smiled. "White...very fitting for today..." He shook his head and turned back to his cooking. "So...Bacon Eggs and pancakes for you?" He served up a plate and set it on the table turning back to get his own.

Sarai thanked him for the food, poped the yolk of her egg, dipped a bit of bacon in it and started eating. After a moment of silence she slowly looked up at him. "Are you sure you want to do this?" she softly asked.

He sat with his own food. not pausing when she asked her question... After another moment he sighed. "In which way...Yes...I want to be with you... no i dont want to go to my mother...i dont even really wan to deal with the marriage so... Yes....and no"

Sarai started to think about it. But before she could formulate any coherant thought, the front door flew open and in walked her brothers. "Mori! Haru! What are you guys doing home? I thought you went to the beach. And where is Luna?"
Mori looked around till he spotted Sarai sitting at the kitchen table. With Royal. Smiling at his sister he said, "We got rained out at the beach and had to come home." Turning to look at Royal he said, "What are you doing here?"
Looking from Royal to Sarai, Haru didn't like the way things looked. "Yea, why are you here?"

Royal calmly... oh so calmly nodded to each of them. "Good morning... We were just finishing up our breakfast...and then we were heading out for the day... " He took another bite of food. "We didnt think you would be back until a few days..." He glanced at Sarai... One thing royal didnt do well with was meeting girls families... as he was now he was puffing up...waiting...waiting for just the right words... He had been around the block a time or two... He could take them if it came to that.. but for sake of mind he wouldnt hit them...

"We dropped Luna off at a friends on the way home. Can I talk to you for a minute Sarai? Outside." Mori gently took hold of Sarai's elbow and led her out the back door. Closing it behind them he said to her, "What is he doing here? Did he spend the night? I will not have you doing anything with that boy."
The look on Mori's face was like nothing she'd ever seen before. "He asked me to marry him last night. Yes he spent the night. No I've not done anything with him." She desided not to tell him about last night, since she hadn't actually done anything with Royal. "We are eating then going to his house to tell Devi."
He waited till Mori and Sarai were outside before turning to Royal and saying, "We can see that you are eating breakfast. What we want to know is, what you are doing here with Sarai. She's not like those girls I always see draped on your arms. So why are you here?" Haru did not like the thought of Sarai even being within shouting range of Royal, even if he was a relation by marriage.

royal wiped his mouth with a napkin and stood. "I dont believe...that is your business..." He frowned and stepped around Haru..."But if you want to know...wait until tonight..." He twitched his tail and walked toward the opposite door. "When they come back in kindly point Sarai to the front... we are going to my mothers..." He knew he wasnt good enough for her...that didnt mean it had to be rubbed in his face. He sighed and opened the front door.
He didnt need to testify his actions to anyone... Not his mother... not her brothers... Not his god damn brothers... HE twitched his wings pacing angrily. He glanced at the door. He was leaving and he wouldnt have to deal with him...He got the worse of two evils... Mori had always intimidated him...Haru... not as much

"I can't honestly believe that he would ask you to marry him without having done anything with you, or without Devi or Roy making him." Mori shook his head.
Haru walked to the back door and slid it open. Stepping outside he said, "Well that didn't go well. I didn't even do or say anything bad or wrong." He turned to Sarai. "He went out the front door. So why is he here?"
"Royal asked me to marry him last night, we are going to tell his mother, then we are getting married." Sarai flitted back inside and tried to slam the door. It didn't work. She quickly ate some more food and rushed outside. "How come you came out here?"
