Phelps KILLED tonight in swimming. Beat all other people in the 200 freestyle by a full 2 seconds and beat the world record by nearly a second. And then Natalie TOTALLY beat Coventry in 100 backstroke which was awesome because they've been hyping that race up for DAYS.
AND THE MENS SYNCHRO DIVING ALMOST WON A BRONZE. D:
But then we had 2 average/bad dives and germany was like "lol we are badass as ********" so we didn't D:

*coughfencingisastabbysportcough* Speaking of fencing, I could try to find if there's any competitions on in that area. Aine likes fencing. XD Hirun- As I said, fencing is actually a sport that is seen in the Olympics, and I took classes in the spring. Not to mention that I might start it again, so... xd ....... Why was this entire post talking about one sport? O_o; not enough murder talk2hand
I'm pretty sure it is possible to kill someone with a foil, epee, or sabre. sweatdrop

Gymnastics... but only when they stick the landing.
I don't care if they're like from... Canada... I'd STILL cheer if they stuck the landing. I really don't WANT Canada to win anything, because Canada sucks, BUT I do kind of want them to win one gold medal, ONLY because I LOVE to hear my mom singing the Canadian national anthem... xd
HELL! Hitler could come back, pull of a routine and then stick the landing and I'd STILL cheer for him.
I HATED that the Chinese men won last night, I kept wanting them to mess up, REALLY bad, and Japan too... but they didn't.
But every time anybody stuck the landing I was all "WOOO YEAH!!!! GO TEAM CHINA/JAPAN/GERMANY/ZIMBABWE!"

Huh, apparently parts of the opening ceremony were CGI and that little girl singing was lip syncing. <_<;;
I understand trying to look good for the Olympics, but they don't have to lie.

Which puts us in 35th place along with 11 other countries, but still.
We have a medal! A MEDAL!
MEXICO!
We'd do like, great in track and racing if we still had Ana Guevara.
But she left because the guvment is st00pid, and they don't want to give enough money to athletes, and they only care about USA stealing our oil (according to them). sad
