Soul of Aqua Am I one of few that has no problem understanding what he says? No. And I'm wondering if that means there's something wrong with us.

With two others that is still one of few.. None of my friends lack as much as him in English and most of them be Dutch! (Even that be there is intentional as it is part of my unique dialect.) yet it seems so simple to me.

Maybe I'm used to deciphering bad english from working at Wal-Mart where I actually do deal with people who can't speak a lick of english on a regular basis and from the interwebs.

Hebi Hime Maybe I'm used to deciphering bad english from working at Wal-Mart where I actually do deal with people who can't speak a lick of english on a regular basis and from the interwebs. Then again research has shown that most of us are capable of deciphering text of which only the first and last letters are in the correct order without stressing ourselves.

I heard about that study. That's honestly amazing. The human brain is truly an incredible thing.

I saw a shirt that had a long paragraph comprised of words missing letters and all screwed up. It said "As long as the first and last letter in a word stays the same, you can read this paragraph" or something similar. It looked something like this on the shirt "As lnog as te frist ad lsat leettr in a wrod satys the smae, you can raed tihs praagarph"
