With two others that is still one of few.. None of my friends lack as much as him in English and most of them be Dutch! (Even that be there is intentional as it is part of my unique dialect.) yet it seems so simple to me.

Yes it is. I saw a shirt that had a long paragraph comprised of words missing letters and all screwed up. It said "As long as the first and last letter in a word stays the same, you can read this paragraph" or something similar. It looked something like this on the shirt "As lnog as te frist ad lsat leettr in a wrod satys the smae, you can raed tihs praagarph"
