"Leave him!" Mama barked at Porter, who was approaching his brother. Tishon sagged against the wooden pole, his back raw and bloody.
He panted, barely able to stand the pain. Miu came skipping beside him.
"Told 'ya so." She sang, then skipped away, smiling. Oh how he wanted to grab her by the throat. How he wanted to hurt her so badly. But he couldn't. She was a princess.

" Mother! Excuse me, but what is this CRAP that you've done! You can't stop the feelings Raiji has for Tishon. You don't understand, huh? Did you ever think about what you just did?! This is not right! This makes me unhappy.. I don't wanna see you do it again!" Tears run down her face, now. She didn't have feelings for Tishon or Porter, but they did WORK for all of us. They deserve a bit of respect! She looked back at Tishon and Porter. " What if they die?! Huh?! Who will do your clean ups now? I'm sorry.. but this is just wrong.."

Mei fell to her knees watching the bloody scene. She wished now she hadn't said that she might get hit like that too. She felt a pain in her knees; realzing she fell on rocks.. very sharp ones. She watched her blood ooze out on the stones and cried harder. She sat still though her eyes closed; over acting now, she wanted to stop Mama. " Stop.. Please? "

Mama looked at Mei, disgusted.
"Don't beg. It's not lady-like. It does not matter who left them alone with each other but it's the fact of what they did. He is only getting what he deserves. And we always have more slaves. Don't you remember? I'm the 'Queen'." She said, smiling smugly.
Tishon walked sitffly back into the palace, Porter trailing a few feet behind him, in fear of getting beat. He was supposed to watch Tishon in case he went anywhere near Raiji. He went there anyway, to her room, walking right in. Porter stray inside, just around the corner.
"Raiji..." He said, still shirtless. Raiji sobbed, hugging him.
"Tishon I'm so sorry, it was my fault." She said between sobs.

" Ugh.. I just hate you!! " Mei yelled. She ran to Raiji's room; wailing, " Raiji!! Tishion! Sooory!! I couldn't stop it.." She stood still next to Porter. " Porter. Sorry too... "

Lily finished cooking up some food, a bunt cake, chicken and vegetable soup, and made sweet tea. She carried a tray of food into Raiji's room and bucket with warm water and a towel in it. Setting the food in front of Raiji, she spoke. "I made you some comfort food if you would like it." Lily bowed before her. Holding the bucket of water, she turned to Tishion. "Shall I clean you up?"

Mei stopped sobbing a few seconds after Lily walked in. "Thank you Lily." She thanked her for Raiji.

Tishon bowed, thankful.
"Yes Lily. If you would." He moved away from Raiji, letting her sit and eat.
"Mei. Stop crying." Raiji said, breaking her bunt cake in two. She gave the other half to Tishon.

" Yes ma'am" She saluted sarcasticly; trying to hide her sadness. She forced out a laugh but it only sounded like sobs.

Raiji did not laugh at her sarcasm. Nothing was funny now.
"Tishon. Will you be alright?" She asked between bites.
"Yes Raiji-Sama." He said, calling her how he was supposed to. Porter stood by the door, then eventually sat. Tishon looked at the floor with empty eyes.

Mei walked up to Raiji and said in her ear; " Raiji, at least you have someone to love.. and someone that loves you. I have no one. Your lucky he's alive and he's here, and he loves you." She mumbles something from like a soap opera. Mei turned to go take a walk through the gardens, which she usually did either late at night or early in the morning; but she just felt like lying down under a tree and day dreaming. When she went out the door a tear ran down her face; when she felt she was really crying now, she ran. It was visible she was crying.

Raiji mulled over Mei's words.
'At least you have someone to love...'
She seemed to be contradicting herself. She could love anyone she wanted. But Raiji couldn't. It was whoever her mother chose for her. An older man, probably. Someone mean, and perverted. The thought made teasr brim in Raiji's eyes.
She could never be with the one she loved.

Mei sighed underneath the tree. "I don't know anybody, the only boys I know are Tishon and Porter. I should get out more.." She sighed deeply again.
