atc 223 My name is Atc 223 but please call me austin. i play bass as my primary instrument but i play piano, french horn, and flute(its not gay, jethro). I play and write lyrics and music for a local band. i love playing and will die with my strap on. With your strap-on? confused

Firstly ^^^ Lol
I'm Gerbil but you can call me Ray. I live in south-west london in the Uk. Bass is my main instrument but recently I've started mucking around with guitars and keyboards. I used to play clarinet but my teacher wouldn't let me play jazz, so I quit. I write songs sometimes but am not in a band. I'm doing music and music tech A level. I'm open to lots of music, aside from really heavy raping Grime stuff. I like a mixture of old and new stuff and I suppose my favorite bands/artists would be The Hush Sound, David Bowie and Paramore. It's really sad, but I love RENT.
I bake cakes =)

The name's Duston, don't call me that, use my s/n when referring to me.
I'm a music major and Sax expert.
I play most all single reed instruments.
I'm double majoring guitar and sax at Radford University in Virginia.
Aside from woodwinds, I enjoy guitar and upright bass.
I'm single. (interested? Hit me up. lawlz) xD
My favorite bands/musicians are Led Zeppelin, The Raconteurs, Zakk Wylde, Steve Vai, Charles Mingus, John Coltrane, Stevie Ray Vaughan, The Beatles, Charlie Parker, and a whole s**t load of others.
I love most all music and am open enough to try anything.
I hate Shitknot, and all those of trashy-a** fakers.
I despise idiots who attempt to know what they're talking about when they don't.
When I need help on guitar, I turn to the Almighty Tuna.
Tuna is my hero; question him and...well just leave or face epic failure.

I have a thing for waking up at ungodly hours and making cupcakes.
I compose.

Tdrim Hey everyone. Yay for first day introductions. My name is Michelle. I'm 19. I am currently a Flute Performance and Japanese double major at Hope College. Most people would call me a piccolo specialist, aka I would rather play piccolo than flute. I guess I would be considered a more contemporary player. I'm not a big fan of Bach or Mozart. Eh...they are okay. I prefer 20th century music with lots of extended techniques. I don't play guitar or any stringed instruments for that matter. I tried once to play guitar, but no one would teach me...so, fail. I am okay with that fail. I do however take percussion lessons and I am completely in love with the marimba. I like most every kind of music. Yes, I know everyone says this and it is never true, but yes, I do like a little bit of country. I listened to Gogol Bordello for the first time today and I loved it. Wow, this is getting rather long. So I guess I should end it. Crap, I didn't put anything random in there... Well, I eat my oreos with a fork. Gogol Bordello F'ing excellent

I'm Dee I'm 19
I play bass, I do not claim to be exceptionally well but I enjoy it, I'm in a band though I don't think were very good, I also jam with a different set of friends who are musicians every thurs, shh dont tell anyone lol. I like to play rock, punk and blues.
some of my fav bands are Dir en grey, The Faint, The Dresden Dolls, Emilie Autumn, mewithoutyou, The Jimi Hendrix Experience, Bush, Hypnogaja, All That Remains, Gogol bordello, Fair to Midland to name a few Thanks to ManwitnoName for the invite.
my personal epic fail is I do enjoy the lack of talent that is Slipknot.

The pits get really OMFG here, some guy nearly ripped out numerous earrings of mine, i'm gonna be honest and say i was sacred shitless. I had a friend who saw them at lollapalooza. He said they were crazy and asked if I had listened to them. I said, "No" and thus started a roadtrip full of Gogol Bordello music.
