Xinavane listened and she nodded, "More faith in myself... yeah, I guess I could use more of that." She admitted with a determined nod, "And all this... it helped. It really did. Though of course, you being in danger wasn't any good at all! But that I could help... that I could help, and I actualy did it... That makes me feel better. Stronger." And she did. It helped, she supposed, that Zuru was giving her encouragment when her entire life, there had only seemed to be hopelessness despite optimism. It was now that she was finally finding herself with a whole new world of options.
She knew she could help. She knew now that it was possible... maybe only in small ways, but it was entirely possible that she could make a difference. Her wandering was only beginning to prove that. She could do everything she had dreamed of as a child, she saw that now.
"By the way..." She mentioned, standing with him and scanning for possible places to stay the night, "You're not so bad looking yourself, skinny God." She smirked, adding in a small tease on the end. Mostly because she couldn't have possibly said the first part with a straight face. He was handsome after all... incredibly so... But she had never said anything like that before.
But she supposed that this was a day for being stronger and proving that she was strong. And she was certainly strong enough to deliever a compliment where it was deserved.

"Skinny?!" the blue-eyed god repeated incredulously, his eyebrows disappearing as they leaped up beneath his mane. "Where Ah come from they call this the 'rugged' look, Ah'll have you know."
He nudged her shoulder playfully as he said it, then strode a few steps ahead of her, stretching out his legs and throwing his head back. Showing off, basically. The last few snowflakes drifted away from sight as the illusion left, and the two of them were left back on the stony bank of the river. Time had passed during their talk, and the fiery sun lent everything an orange cast. Zuru paused to watch it sink, enjoying the last heat of the day. His blue eyes defied the suns' light, burning with a blue glow all their own.
Normally, he would've said his dues and been on his way. Buuuut, it seemed a dishonest way to leave a new friend. Whirling back to Xinavane, it was apparent that his foot had fully healed, and he stopped a whisker's length from her, smiling roguishly.
"Ah know this may be a bit fo'ward, but Ah'm thinkin' it's shapin' up to be a purdy cold night." he said frankly, his voice open and innocent. "Ifn's ya don't mind, Ah reckon it'd be a good idea if we spent the night together."
His smile hid the fact that he'd be gone soon after she fell asleep. Zuru, for one, disliked goodbyes; they were too final. He felt the tug of the horizon all the more keenly now that his foot had healed, and he couldn't resist for long. It was better to leave things unfinished. It was an unspoken promise to resolve them later, and Zuru felt that he would meet Xinavane again. Call it a hunch.

Xinavane laughed a little as he playfully shoved her. Yes, she supposed that he was most certainly a 'rugged' fellow indeed.
She thought about what he had said for a moment, and then she nodded, "Sounds good to me... I'm all for not freezing to death." Though she could barely believe that he was already healed... perks of being a God, she'd imagine.
When she slept, she really didn't expect him to be there when she woke up... Zuru was a wanderer she knew that. But somehow... she had an odd feeling. A notion that they were bound to meet again some day.
