Sad news.. My Laptop was p0wned by our cat the other day. It got knocked off the table and fell to a shattering stop on the floor, where it lay in a pool of its own bytes and pieces until I got back and tried to turn it on.
Nada. It starts, but then tries to go to DOS and then restarts and tries safety mode, then crashes and tries to go to DOS.. ect, ect, ect
So at this time I am on my girlfriend's comp, but hers is slow and what with me taking another job to try and make the money to buy a new laptop.. I wont have alot of time for RP. I'll try to get on at least a few times a week just to do my job, but if the crew wants to demote me, I wont object.
Sorry everyone.. if someone who is ambitious and devious wants to take over Qu'ellar Druu'giir, let me know.

My computer is doing the same thing as Val's. :c Except I didn't get mine raped by cats; mine just hates me. Expect me to be gone for awhile in January if I don't find a place to live -- I'll probably be in my vehicle. And if that happens, as I've told the crew, I'll be heading somewhere warmer, lulz. Tis around -50 F on the wind chill factor here. gonk 15 is the high... So I can tell it's going to be a very rough winter if it's this cold this early. I couldn't even unlock my back door cause it was frozen shut. Stay out of trouble or I'll eat you. evil

Either I won't be posting for an undetermined... likely not too long... amount of time. Lurking, but refraining from posting.
Or I'll be here and extremely angsty, on edge, and prime to bite. Probably still more lurking than posting, and probably only posting

s**t happened, I'm pissed off, but need to get over it... without dragging anyone on UG into it. Since my friends on UG are the only ones not INVOLVED, that leaves me in a rock and a hard place considering I'm pissed off at the whole RP concept in general because, will you look at that, the whole fight was SPARKED over a friend (not on gaia) taking RP too seriously/too obsessed with it and it spilled over into everything else.
In short, don't PM me, don't ask for details, and just generally back off for a little bit until you notice me acting like normal again, unless you can take the potential venom with a grain of salt (you know who you are) which might only be until morning. Hell if I know.

I just figured I should give everyone ample warning if I completely lose it, which is unlikely since no one here is involved in that mess. I'm bound to be a bit snappier and more critical than usual at the least, at least until my friend either wakes up or I calm down. Which again, might only be a few hours, might be a while. I can never tell. Some people shouldn't RP. I've encountered problems in games I've both played in and ran. When I was DM, I could get a handle on it, but as a player, it was more difficult to calm the disturbed RP fanatics in my party. As a DM I'd say, "listen, your character is dead, yes, the gnome shot him in the back with a crossbow, and no, it isn't fair, here... you can have the rest of the Dorritos as compensation; go make another character and you can find some in-game reason to kill Fred's gnome later, k? (my campaigns had a low survival rate for characters as I use to encourage opposing alignments and secret agendas). I would always emphasize the fact that it was either a glorious and memorable death, or funnay as hell, and that "Fred's gnome did you a favor by giving you a legacy we'd be laughing (with you not at you) about for sessions into eternity." When people sit at the tabletop, they need to leave RL far and away and just enjoy the show, even if it means one's own character being an afternoon snack for a dragon. The rule in my campaign... it's not "If your character will die," it's "when." With that understanding, it's just a matter of seeing how clever you can be to put off the ultimate demise, or barring that, go out with a bang. Adventurers are basically mass murderers of (so-called) monsters, lol... and their karma eventually has to catch up with them. I know you'd all love to have me as your DM, mwuhahaha.

... my party tends to kill OURSELVES. Dad's mage sprung a trap because our theif was absent that day and blew up a wall all over himself, my fiend got killed by a black pudding because I had to pee while the DM was describing the mysterious black ooze (riiiight after someone was complaining that a feind was over-kill XD), etc. Oh yeah... and that one time Kal'Daka and the CE half dragon decided to turn on the party at the last two rounds in the last fight of the campaign. She got to kick in the skull of the Champion of Correllan.
By all means my fiend and my dad's dwarven warpriest should hate eachother... but the party makes him heal/rez our wrecking ball. XD
And thank you. I needed a laugh. Bad.
