Soaking wet, naked, and scratched to peices, in some places quite deep, Blaze was trying to decide whether or not to expolde or fall to peices. Eyeing the young elf bobbing in the pool with outright fury, he took a deep breath, looked at Dancer for a moment, and carefully lowered himself back into the pool, wincing as the hot saltwater washed his cuts. His good mood destroyed by getting by all common defenitions dunked, his voice was a strangled growl as he managed to grind out a terse greeting. "I'm. Just. Fine."

Savith turned to Blaze. "To answer your early question, I broke my ankle with what you could call a bad landing, yes," he stated evenly, arms returning to rest on the edge of the pool as he leaned back again.

Dewpaw blinked again, from thought, not water. She glanced from one elf to the other, trying to pice everything together in her head. And in true cub fashion, she pieced everything together wrong... She took in blaze being naked, his anger, which she figured could not be completely her doing (such an ignorant cub), the tense atmosphere, and Dancer's happiness... "Did I interupt something I shouldn't have?" she moved away from them slightly, still treading the water.

At Dew's comment, Blaze's eyebrows arched up and his scowl became a suprised smirk, as if she had just told a particularly off-color but hilarious joke. "Tha's exactly what I asked these two stargazers. An' no, I bet ya Dancer would sooner take a roll in th' furs wit a human afore ol' me. Ya jus' splashed me. An' I hate gettin' splashed."
"Now, le's change th' subject. This ain't really somthin' fer yer young ears. How was the trip?"

What else could Dancer do but laugh and laugh. The thought was so far from what was going on and what she ever wanted to be going on it just made her sides hurt to think of it.

Savith had the smirk at the humor of the situation. Not that it'd be terrible with Dancer, but Blaze? He did, actually, flick a glance at the firestarter, as if considering it. Then he chuckled to himself, eyes closing as he shook his head in mild amusement.

"Sure" Dewpaw smirked, not entirely convinced, "Nothing was happening." She swam closer to Savith, but stayed away from the edge. She just felt like swimming adn enjoying the water. "My trip was fine. Nothing really happened." She spoke quickly, her tone curt at best. She had avoided the others, claiming exhaustion and hunger and now restlessness in order to avoid the topic of her trip. She just wasn't ready to talk about it.

Savith turned his gaze to Dewpaw as she swim close, disbelief in her voice, and quipped with a half-smirk. "Rest assured, if something had been happening, we would not have been arm's length from each other at the edges of the pool."

Still giggling she looked at Dew. "I will see if I can get Crossvurrent to drag his tail out of the water and join us tomorrow night for the celabration. He seems to like kids." Did she mean Dew or did she mean herself? The meaning to the statement even puzzled her for a few moments. She let Blaze off the hook with his comment as well. Indeed anyone would have been a better match in her eyes then the hot headed ill tempered Blaze.

"True" Dewpaw conceeded to Savith's arguement. "And it doesn't look like Dancer got into any Dreamberries again." She ducked under water before coming up and shaking her head, splashing water again. Her wet hair hung partially over her eyes. "Crosscurrent is fishie?" she asked, making sure she was thinking of the right elf she never met.

She giggled a bit more and nodded. If she mebtioned her red face once more she was dunking Dew Paw. "Yes" Was all Dancer said in return as her head turned to the vast deep again and smiled a wistful little smile.

Savith reclined back, watching the two girls without comment for a moent before he turned his gaze up toward the sky.

At the mention of "Fishy," Blaze rolled his eyes, remembering Dancer's unguarded send and how it had so happily scrambled his mind. There were so many inuendos flying about... He caught Savith looking at him out of the corner of his eye, but made nothing of it more than a consideration of a dirty joke.
Still a bit jittery from Dew's cannonball, he focused on keeping the water uniformly hot as the heat tried to escape into the air.

Turning her gaze and attention back to everyone in the pool she smiled brightly. "Ahhhhh this is lovely. A wonderful moment in all our lives." Her smile fadded just slightly then she dunked herself under again for what might seem a long time to ones who didn't swim much. When she surfaced a gasp for air escaped her softly. Steam now lifting from her form as the cold chill pulled heat from any exposed flesh or form. Then she lowered back in up to her neck and shook off a chill as she looked at nothing and everything but said not a word after the last comment.

"Such exciting conversation" Dewpaw said drly. They were talking before she came and she wondering if it was her fault they stopped talking. this idea only helped to increase her certainty that she had interupted "something". "Really, worth a dreamberry bush and a fresh ravvit."
