The twins gave a giggles as they reached the slide after Caleb did. They starred at the other boy in complete awe, that he had beat them both and so completely having made it to the slide many body lengths ahead of them. They leaned against each other and smiled, "You ran so fast! That was awesome!" The pair squealed, clapping their hands.
Akuji watched the twins fawn over Caleb before giving a nod, "I wonder what their specialty is. Aside from their... 'singing' I am not sure." She murmured, "Those are always interesting times, when the boys set to howling. The neighbors are convinced I have dogs when I try to convince them it's the boys they don't really believe me."

Caleb grinned at the two. "I like running! It's fun." He stood at the top of the slide for a moment before sliding down and turning around at the end to see the twins again. "Wanna climb that?" He pointed at a jungle gym that sat a short distance from the slide.
Kaden pondered it for a moment. "I dunno. Caleb's file said that he was a runner and he certainly loves to run. We got him into soccer so that he'd have an outlet for it." The man grinned about the neighbors, though. "Some people think the strangest things... or would rather think something else than the truth if the truth is strange."

The twins watched Caleb as he stood at the top of the slide looking even bigger and stronger in their eyes before the pair nodded their heads and started toward the jungle gym, "Alright, it looks like it would be lots of fun to climb!" They said in unison, eager to climb it, up to the top.
They giggled when their feet hit the warm sand that surrounded it, pausing to wiggle their bare toes in it before they started to climb.
"I wonder if should sign them up for something, football maybe since they are always tackling each other." Akuji mused when Kaden spoke of soccer, it would be a good idea to put them in a team sport, maybe that way they would get better at playing in groups.
"Your probably right, it doesn't help that their singing does sound almost exactly like wolf howls do. Close enough it could probably trick anyone at least once." She knew it had thrown her when she first heard it, had thought they were watching Animal Planet or something.

Caleb laughed and headed after the twins, pausing as they did at the sand. He didn't like shoes either and it was hard to fit him with some, seeing one he had one furry foot and one regular foot. So the sand felt nice under his feet and he wiggled his toes about before running after the twins to climb the jungle gym.
"Sports are a good outlet for energy... especially for kids like Caleb..." The man glanced over at the woman for a moment. "Football would be a good thing to look into. Depending on how hard they tackle though... not all kids are quite as tough as those three seem to be..." Kaden smiled as he saw them race from one thing to the next on the playground.
"I guess I'm lucky that Caleb doesn't try to sing, then." He chuckled.

The boys did their best to head up to the top, wanting to beat each other and if they were lucky Caleb up to the top of the bars. During the climb Uri's fluffy foot slipped and with a squeak he fell between the bars landing on his backside in the sand.
Lucius starred down at him and set to giggling, "Oops! Gonna lose this one." He said to his brother in a sing song voice, sticking out his tongue at him.
Uri gave an embarrassed sound, looking up at Caleb with reddened cheeks. The other wolf pup looked a little worried, as though he thought his friend may think less of him for the slip up. He pushed himself up to his feet, brushing sand off before he moved to climb again though he knew he'd already lost better to get there late then never.
Akuji seemed to be thoughtful on that, wondering if she should check into the game first. After all her boys were rambunctious, physical, and had a bad habit of wanting to make sure they were best. She didn't want other kids to get hurt in the process off one of their chest bumping contests.
She turned in time to see Uri fall between some of the bars and instantly took a couple steps forward before she stopped in her tracks seeing him stand back up, "Phew.. good..." She murmured to herself.

Caleb giggled as Uri slipped and fell. "Come on, come on!" He called out to both twins, climbing his way up as he cheered both on. Climbing was different than running and his golden tail wagged excitedly behind him.
"Good thing is they'd be wearing protection. All Caleb wears is shin guards... but no tackling in soccer..." Kaden glanced over as one of the boys fell, eying the woman for a moment. He wondered if she'd be able to take watching football games. They were much rougher than soccer ones, for sure.

Uri's tail started to wag rapidly, relief spreading over his features as he followed the golden boy up to the top of the jungle gym where his brother was waiting for them. Lucius gave a bright grin when he got to him, standing up on the bars another point for me."
"Knock you off then see who's the winner." Uri said, sticking his tongue out at his brother, ears laying back.
They exchanged a long, drawn out glare before they relaxed, nodding. They had each been gathering 'points' in a lot of games they were played against each other. They were always trying to one up each other so this was just another go at that.
Another point for Lucius in the never ending stride toward deciding who was alpha.

Caleb glanced between the two boys, a bit uneasy when they were glaring and debating pushing each other off. "Falling could hurt..." The boy mentioned, glancing down at how high they'd climbed. He relaxed as the twins did and glanced about the playground. They could see quite a bit from here.
The boy found a spot to sit and braced himself, glancing at the twins. "Get to see your chimera yet?" He had and he couldn't wait to get to bring it home...

The twins turned their attention to Caleb and they both shook their heads, "Not yet, just got done with a class on it though." They both said, ears turning forward, eyes taking on a rather curious look to them.
"Have you gotten to see your Chimera yet?" Uri asked of him.
"What sort is it?" Lucius then asked.
After having the informational class and learning so much about Chimera they were eager to meet their own and hear about other peoples Chimera. The more they learned the better off they would be when it came to the Chimera they would be partnered with.

Caleb grinned, nodding excitedly. "Yeah! Mine's a dragon! He's golden, like my fur and is going to like running, just like me!" The boy's tail wagged eagerly behind him. "They said he should be ready to come home soon! I can't wait!!"

Their tails started to wag again at that, "Dragons are cool!" Both of them exclaimed in an excited manner, as though Caleb didn't know just how cool they were, "We got to meet Omarr a couple of times and he was so neat!"
"Ooo. Your dragon will run with you?" Uri murmured, eyes wide and shining with delight.
"I wonder if that means our Chimera will wrestle with us." Lucius murmured out loud. It would be so exciting to try to wrestle a Chimera!
"I hope that we get a dragon!"
"I hope that we get a phoenix!"
The pair said it in unison and then turned to stare at each other, "Huh?"
"Well a dragon would be best to wrestle with! Oh! Or a behemoth!" Lucius said in a delighted voice.
"But a Phoenix could fly us around on their backs!" Uri told his brother, tilting his head back to look up at the clouds as he imagined what flying must be like.
"I guess we will see soon." Both murmured in unison.

Caleb grinned. "Yeah, they are!" His tail showed his excitement. "I met Omarr, too! When I had my checkup. But I got to see my chimera and he's different than Omarr... he has four legs to run with." The boy could not wait until he got to run with his chimera. That would just be so much fun!
He giggled as the two picked different chimeras and were confused with each other. "I dunno if I'd like flying... running's more fun! And wrestling, too." He added the last as almost an afterthought.
"I'm sure you'll get to meet yours soon!" He wondered if they would each get one. Maybe that would be best. Then they could have the kind they each wanted!

It would seem by the look on the faces of the twins they were both now thinking on their Chimera more and more. They wondered what it would look like, act like, be like... so many ideas came to mind but they knew they would have to see to really have any clue what it might be like.
"Yeah, your probably right." They murmured together, "Soon."
Their tails wagged at the mere thought that they would soon get to see the Chimera.
"When we all have our Chimera we should let them meet!" Lucius said, tail wagging, "Its only right since we are pack that they get brought into the pack as well."
Uri nodded in agreement, "Yes, having more members would be nice." He said with a smile, ears turning forward in an excited sort of way.

Caleb grinned. "Yes! They'll have to be friends, too!" He wiggled happily, anxious to get to bring his chimera home soon. "I'm gonna name mine Rex!" Caleb seemed rather proud of the name, like he'd come up with it all on his own.

The twins exchanged a look then seemed to be thinking on that for a long while, they would need to figure out a name for their Chimera wouldn't they? Their ears flicked forward and back, tails went still, and they seemed to think hard on it... before giving up for the time being, "We will have to think on what to call ours." They murmured in unison.
They didn't know yet, "It will be easier to pick a name when we meet the Chimera." Lucius said, sounding quite confident as though seeing the Chimera would bring a name to mind instantly.
Uri nodded then turned to Caleb, "Rex is a nice name. I can't wait to meet Rex." He said, tail wagging.
