1. How much time are you able to spend on a daily basis updating the Sanctuary? Well, for weekdays I can be on 3-5 hours a day. Weekends, Up to 8. 2. Is there anything that will lower your time mentioned in #1 (such as school starting again for example) and how much will it lower the time you can spend updating the Sanctuary? Schooldays, but I can make up for it during free periods and such. 3. Do you have any previous experience as a mod or an admin? If so, briefly describe the places, such as if you had any specific job there, how many members there were, etc. Yes, I am currently the main admin of the Dragcave Incubator Forums which has over 5500 members. Note, it is not a dragcave official forum, it's a fansite. 4. Are you currently a mod or an admin at another site? Read above. 5. Why do you want to be a mod? To help the egg sanctuary which I think is an excellent program. I have spare time. 6. What is your account name on both the DragCave site and its forums? Also, give a link to your scroll. Account name on all forums (except Gaia since it was taken): Jazzo. dragcave.net/user/Jazzo 7. (optional) Say anything else here that you think might help you get the position. I have raised many dragons, been a member of dragcave for a while, have plenty of admin and mod experience, and am fluent in HTML and BB Code. I suppose I should let you guys know why new mods haven't been decided and the sanct hasn't been updated.
First of all, Dranzer doesn't update much anymore (she rarely did anyway). PF13 used to update a lot, but now she pretty much refuses to update now that the sanct takes up more than one post. Already that leaves just me and Loku.
I'm essentially on strike with Loku because I'm tired of updating 3+ pages every time I get online (which right now is 2-3 times a day). I've been bugging him for MONTHS to get new mods. Even when I asked him to be mod (which was in May), I said it was temporary until he got more mods. Here it is August and he STILL hasn't added any more mods. So I'm refusing to add any more dragons to the sanct until he adds more mods (I'm still removing adults and checking for duplicates and frozen hatchlings). Also, I'm starting my senior year of college on Monday, so it's not like he can count on me updating regularly for much longer anyway.
And just so you guys know, we've already decided on 1 new mod. He just hasn't added the person yet because I think he wants to add however many new mods we get all at once. We already have 2 more people that 3 of the 4 of us are fine with as mod (PF13 doesn't really care who we get), but again, Loku still has not made a decision.

I think you need to have a nice relaxing weekend so you can start your new courses nice and fresh. DragCave is having a problem anyway. Hopefully it will be resolved soon. What's your major?
I keep checking for any announcement. I sent Loku an email last week. I got a response, but not an answer.

It would be a good idea to announce the choices this weekend. You have a lot of guild members that will be going back to school in the next few weeks. It would be good for the guild if the new mod(s) had a chance to learn some things before everyone goes back to school. JMO

Shoot, I've been out of the Gaia loop for a while, because of the hectic school schedule. (Notice how I don't even format my text the usual way XD)
But I'd like to help out the Guild.. So I'll think about it if I want to apply for Mod again.

Bug him a lot and only get a little out of him seems to be the norm, unfortunately. *gives a sympathetic pat* I wish that others than just the owner of the guild could make people mods. We are having a bit of a hectic time in my guild cause our main editor is on vacation for the next 2 weeks. We just managed to get a hold of our guild owner to get us some more so that it would be more than just the 2 of us doing most of the work.

And it was 2-3 pages on one thread, 2.3 pages on another Not sure if this would work with the santuary, with the many posts it has. I have an idea on how to keep it updated so you guys can get everything updated quickly and easily. I used to do this in the giveaway/trade center thread I used to co-run on pokeplushies. I had a post of my own where I put all the updates on it, so the op of the thread could easily update. For the santuary, I'd could try to do the same thing and just have a post of my own where I stick every egg posted in catagories, so the mods can easily update. >< although i have no clue how it would work

School, but from after school (3 pm where i am) to 6, i can still be on, not to mention 7-9pm. daily. 3. Do you have any previous experience as a mod or an admin?
