Too easy... Kay thought chuckling at Saiya's reaction. Kay matched the notes she was playing on the bass to create a unique harmony.

((hmmm... how is this for butting in?)) Pai was walking down a random street, with her keyboard under arm. She frequently went outside and walked to no place in particular when she wanted to play.
She felt a slight tingling in her ears... The feeling she got when she herd singing, though it did hurt a little if she really herd it. The room was obviously sound-proofed, but she feel the radiating sound waves that were bouncing around the room, finding little escape.
She walked over to the apartment. She put the strap on her key board around her shoulders, and rang the door-bell, her body shrinking as she did so.
When the door was opened they would see a little girl, with a key board strapped around her neck, and strange black marks on the right side of her face.

Kay answered the door with her guitar still strapped on, Mathis' drums still going on in the background. "Yes? Can I help you?" he asked very calmly, instantly noticing the keyboard.

Pai, as the little girl, didn't say anything at first when the door was opened, but seemed to be listening.
Then, still without a word, she began to play her key board, little fingers flying across the keys to match the speed of the drums that were beating in the background. It also sounded oddly close to the rhythm that the electric guitar had been playing a moment before, it had its own flare to it, but was still recognizable.

Kay stared at the little girl for a moment. Practically dragging her inside, he shut the door and took the little girl over to where they had been practicing. "GUYS! GUYS! HOLD ON FOR A SECOND!" he shouted, and waited for them to quiet down a bit. "I've found it... the sound that was missing from our band!" he said presenting the little girl to them.

After the vampire boy had dragged Pai inside she changed back to her usual form, the only things showing she was the same person, were the black marks on the right side of her face and the same keyboard strapped around her neck... as well as the cloths she was wearing actually fitting now, rather than being really really baggy.
The change had been almost instantaneous, and the transfer would only have been noticed had you been watching closely. One moment, vampire boy was pushing a little girl with pink hair into the room, and then it was taller girl that appeared around 18 or so, with multi-colored hair.
She waved at them, by opening and closing her raised hand and said "I'm Pai" in a glazed voice.
Then she began to play the keyboard again, similarly to before, but now with effects. She added beats in with the special effects buttons and backgrounds, and once she got them going she weaved her own playing into the music, the whole thing very similar to what they had been playing in their sound-proofed room.

Kay blinked... This was not the same girl he dragged in here. But what she was didn't matter, what mattered was her music. The sound and feeling that would kick their playing up to a whole new level.

Mathis backed off, but his hands were still going through the motions "So we have a new member?" he asked curiously. The girl looked odd, but she had a keyboard, and that meant she could most likely play.

Saiya eyed the girl. "Odd little thing aren't you?" She commented. "But you can rock out obviously."

"Yuna what do you think? In or out?" Kay asked, talling the votes. He really hoped it was an in, because this girl could be exactly what they needed.

Pai hadn't even thought at all about what she was doing. And now, apparently she was joining a band of non-humans, that could be interesting... She looked around, the positions that each played was obvious. Other then vampire boy who had brought her in, there was only one other person who didn't have an instrument at hand, meaning she was the singer.
She looked around saying "I felt the music from outside", her voice still sounding odd, rather then saying she herd it.

Pai turned to look at fox girl and then back at vampire boy, "So... I'm joining your non-human band? interesting..." sounding confused, like she wasn't sure what was going on. Then she turned back to fox girl again, "Can I hear you sing?" she asked suddenly.

Mathis scratched his head "Why wouldn't she be in?" he shrugged and tapped anxiously on the rim of one of the drums,

"Okay." Kay turned to the new girl. "I'm Kay. That's Yuna, Saiya, and Mathis." he pointed to each in turn. "Okay guys, we're just going to jam until we all get the feel of each other. Alright?"
