"I'm not scared." Teddy mumbled unconvincingly, a light shiver passing over his body when the stranger's breath touched his neck. Involuntarily he relaxed against his captor, but only for a moment before he realized his action and tensed up again. Hoping his face wasn't red and knowing it was, Teddy silently vowed to strangle Dean as soon as he got hold of him.

The hold around him had loosened; maybe this guy was already getting bored and planned to turn him loose. Or maybe he was just that convinced Teddy wasn't going any where. It was a pretty safe bet; it wasn't as if he knew where he'd even run to. His initial panic simmering down to a more general trepidation, Teddy realized it was pretty stupid to run from one guy whose motives he didn't know into an area full of dangerous types he knew nothing about. "What do you want? Who are you?" He'd wanted to ask what are you, but at the last moment decided he didn't really want to know. He had a couple of guesses he'd rather not see proven correct.

Not to mention how embarrassing it would be if this was just some horny guy that thought he was cute. Seriously, way to freak out the first time any guy even wanted to touch him.

I followed Markus' movement out into the street and watched him embrace with a very scared mortal boy. I grinned, go get 'em tiger..er... vampy! I continued to munch on my fries as I had already done in my rare cheese burger. I continued to nurse my drink and decided to roder a Pmegranite Martini. I love being a heavy drinker. I paide for the meal when they brought me my drink and wandered outside, :Hey! c'mon!! Lets go to Danse Macabre!?" I woohooed as I started for the dance club, my favorite other than work...

"Um... sure", Teddy agreed hesitantly. The name Danse Macabre sounded kind of... dark... but then again, he could think of at least half a dozen human bars, nightclubs and bands named similarly. It couldn't be any more creepy than hanging out on the street with one guy's arms around his waist and chatting up a half dressed woman of, er... large proportions. Teddy found himself unable to really look at Kit. Not that she did a thing for him; mentally he knew she was hot, but that was as far as it got. He was just a little shocked to see anyone prancing around in their underwear in public. "I'm Teddy", he blurted out a little suddenly. He had asked Markus' name, after all.

Going to a dance club to drink and... well, dance, when your allready half drunk. Ah the good days!! i paraded myself into the club, making enough noise to make sure my presnce was well known. I imediately found a delicious young fellow to grind on and went with it.

((*reads description* ... *slowly turns bright red*
Oh. Oh dear. I checked this out to see if I could join, but any character I make would have to be completely unlike me, as I am EPIC FAIL at these sorts of things.
I might join, I don't know. But let's put it on the 'no' side of 'maybe'.))

Valentine made sure to do a check of all his carnies, didn't want any to get away. After checking every cage and making sure they were all there, he went down into the basement of his already creepy carnival and made sure all 'ordeals' were running smoothly. Finding it all to be in order, he went to his office and rested for a little while.

"It just looks like a normal club." Teddy said aloud, having somehow expected it would be a lot different. People were dancing and drinking and having a good time. Nothing weird like blood spatters or raw meat hanging from the ceiling. This had to be the first time getting into a club made him relaxed instead of more excited. The place just seemed too normal for him to stay on edge the whole time. On a whim he made a dash for the dance floor, hand still in Markus'. "Come on, dance with me!" Now his heart beat faster, but not because he was thinking about potential danger. No, this was much more simple; he'd never danced with another guy, not willing to give himself away. But nobody had batted an eye at Markus embracing him on the street then leading him around like a prize pony. For tonight anyway, in a place where nobody even knew him, he did not have to be so careful.

Teddy knew he must be blushing with Markus pressed so close to him, but he ignored his usual tendency to be nervous. The place had good music and loud; he could feel the bass pumping like a second pulse in his blood. As much as he loved to dance it just didn't matter if he had to get over a little embarrassment for it. And it sure didn't hurt that he was attracted to the guy he was moving so close to. That was certainly a new experience, for him at least. "I could get to like this place."
