hmm... there's too many.
as far as fandom goes, i have to say Shadow Link. and that's not yaoi fandom, that's regular fandom. the way he's portrayed is just so inventive.
and for strictly in-game interpretations, i would have to say... Midna. she just had this malicious sense of humour and sarcastic attitude that made me want to keep listening to her. unlike some fairies...

I like Sheik for she is a ninja and I love ninjas! I'm not a girly girl any more so that's why I like Sheik!

zelda1609 Link of course! From TP and SSBB. Because... he's hot. heart Lame, I know. But seriously, as far as character depth goes, I'd say Midna. She was the first sidekick in my opinion that actually had a likable personality.

You guys seem to be missing a main great character!!! Except for MS Link... Geez... Hasn't anyone heard of Dark Link?!?! You know, the dark side of Link... Hmmph... Well he's one of my favorite characters... Why... Well look at him!!! He has the essence of a**-badiness!!! (That word is way better than Bad-a**) Plus he can do that thing where he hops on your sword and slashes you... AWESOME SWORDSMAN!!!

It sounds really sad, but after playing OoT, WW, Tp, and PH, I still don't have a favorite charater. In OoT Sheik was cool, beacuse of her poems, and the harp. In WW it's a tie between Tetra and Aryll, Tetra's the cutest, sassiest pirate I've ever seen, and Aryll's just flat out adorable. In TO, it's midna by far, she had awesome charaterisation, and growth. In PH it's Linebeck, for plain awesomeness.

My favorite characters are none other than Tetra, Gonzo, and Tatl. I like Tetra because not only is she a fearsome pirate but she's also sassy and is a great character, I think Gonzo is pretty funny especially when they're robbing the bomb shop and Mako says if Tetra and Gonzo ever got married..., and I love how Tatl always has an in-your-face attitude towards Link like saying "Geez I wonder how well this will turn out" when she has to partner up with Link.

I always liked Link, expecially as an adult. But my favorite character has to be Shiek. I mean she's a ninja for starters. And she helped Link countless times on his journey. Plus, she's just awesome in SSBB.
