I personally think everyone has the right to marry. I mean seriously if they wanna get married its really none of my business. I mean I really kind of think this is more of a religious thing then to do with actual people. People tell me all the time about how wrong homosexuality is but when you think about it nothing is really right, its the feeling of love that guides all humans through life. And plus ive heard that the only reason some girls dislike it is because it takes away men that they could possibly have and its kinna true cause my sister is like that. She gets all angry if someone is going out with someone she likes even if they were going out a long time ago. It kinna wrong. And now I can kinna tell i was ranting but it was for a good cause. ( i havent ranted this long since my anti bush essay which really wasnt supposed to be an essay) lol i love ranting its so much fun almost as good as meditation

Well, Ill go ahead and post my opinion. I think it should be legal. I have absolutely nothing wrong with members of the same sex being married. Except for one, and thats when they try to force their way into the church. I say it should be up to the individual priest/pastor/church to decide whether they shall perform the ceremony. But a marriage under the state/federal courts, I believe, should be acceptable, and if a prist/pastor/monk/whatever chooses to perform the ceremony, then its all well and good.

I am of the personal oppinion that George W. Bush needs to get his head out of his a** and ******** seperate church and state. If there were a clear and defined seperation between chuch and state than there wouldn't be an issue about gay marriage. The chuch says that marraige in and institution between two people for the purpose of love and breeding. Since gay couples can not breed and since 'god smote sodom and gamora for practicing in sodamy' and anything other than missionary style is concidered sodomy (oh they must love the indian karma-sutra) the shurch would state that gays could not get married. However the state definition is the legal joining of two peoples in the bonds of marraige... now all we need to do is figure out what those bonds are, or make some up, because if the state goes by the bonds that are defined by thye church as to what marraige is, than there is no seperation of church and state. -takes a deep breath and continues to rant- As such, if marraige is defined by the church, and for religious reasons, than it is understandable if the church AND ONLY THE CHURCH refuses to marry gay couples, however, if marraige is defined by the state than in my personal opinion it would be the same as telling two black people of the opposite gender they could not wed by state law because they are black. And I, bing bisexual and more toward my own gender, think that the state should allow homosexual marraiges... and here in Mass... where I live... they do... so...I am a happy camper biggrin xd biggrin xd biggrin xd biggrin .

I think everyone should just allow gay marriages. I mean you love who you love whether it be someone of the same gender or a different gender as long as they don't bother some that doesn't approve with it, then they should be given that right to get married. Everyone has his/her own right to love who they want to. You also have freedom of speech, so it shouldn't matter if gays speak out about the subject of getting married. I myself don't care if gays get married, that's what they want to do and people that disapprove of it can get over it.

love is love!
no matter it be between two girls, two guys, a girl and a guy, its love. you can pick who you fall in love with... if you truely love them then let it be. i am bisexual and my brother is gay, my mother is lez, and my dad is strieght and is totally against gay's/bi's/ and lezbians. i seem to be the only that understands in my family what it like to "see both ways" and all i got to say is be true to yourself, and if you wanna get married then you sould be allowed to. i mean whats the point stoping it, its not like you will be able to make them stop loving one another. also why take away the rights from someone, haven't we all been fighting for equality? i guess thats i have to say
thats my stand point!

Anyone should be able to marry whoever they want, be they man, woman or crazy green aliens. We all know it was just an excuse to party and shag without the disaproval of your peer group.

[Hiroku] Oh. And hospital visitation rights. If someone is dying in the hospital, and you aren't married to them, you can't see them. At all. That's more important than marriage. The reason these insane laws are passing is because they have been spun out of control. Marriage wasn't about love throughout most of history. The whole idea of marriage and romance being connected began in the 19th century. I'm not entirely convinced marriage for love is a good thing. But tax benefits? Hospital visitation rights? Who can argue against those? Yeah, that pisses me off. When my boyfriend was sick I went to see him in the hospital and they wouldn't let me. They said that "homosexual partners are not considered family". evil Edit: Oh and when my sister's boyfriend was sick she was allowed to see him in the same friggin hospital. I still steam over that..

Well, I think marriage should be decided between the two people that want to get married. It should be about love and the want to be together for the rest of their lives. And like my cousin says "gays have the right to be as mserable as everyone else."
So, ^_^ go gay marriage!
