Shun yelped as he was knocked into the water, his arms waving as he fell. He coughed and sputtered as water went up his nose, and then shook his head to try and get out some water that went in his ears.

Suklaa spun under the water a few times before popping up to breath. She walked along the squishy floor and over to Shun who was coughing. "Are you alright?" She asked as she stood by him and began to sink in the mud.

"I'll live." Shun shifted then jumped when he felt something crawling around under him. Scurrying away, he shook off the mud and splashed water all over the place while hurriedly making sure that whatever it was he landed on, wasn't stuck on him.

Suklaa squealed and covered her face as Shun ran away to keep the mud out of her eyes. She looked down to where he had been standing and stared, looking for movement. There was nothing, then just as she was about to look away she saw a shifting in the mud.

"What is it?" Shun walked back and peered as close to the water as he dared. A crayfish peeked out of the mud, only to disappear back under again.

Suklaa laughed as she saw the crayfish peek it's head out before leaving. "Did you see that Shun? Wasn't that cool?" she asked as she bounced up and down in the water and mud.
( what's a crayfish? xD;; )

"It's a crayfish, I didn't know they had those around here." Shun tried to catch sight of the crayfish through the upturned mud.((The kind of look like mini lobsters. crayfish))

Suklaa started to paw at the place where the crayfish had been. "That must mean were lucky to see one, right?" she asked as she uncovered it enough to see the crayfish again, and she looked at it once more.
(I thought those were called crawfish)

"It might." Shun smiled slightly as he felt himself relax. "Be careful, it might pinch you."

Suklaa picked up the crayfish by it's tail and held it up. It flexed and it's legs crunched in and out as it hung. She held it out towards Shun, expecting to give it to him.
(It's probably just mah southern accent kicking in. =P)

"Uhm, thanks?" Shun took the crayfish from Suklaa and moved his head closer to get a better look at the animal. The crayfish opened and a claw, trying to snap at Shun's nose, but not quite able to reach.

"You're welcome!" Suklaa replied as Shun took the crayfish. She watched it with him, and giggled as it's claws opened. "Look! He's saying hello!" she said to it as she smiled.

"Or it's saying put me down before I pinch you." Shun started to lower the crayfish into the water, but stopped. "You don't mind if I let it go do you?"

Suklaa shook her head. "Not really, he wants to go swimming too." She sat down in the water and mud.

Shun set the crayfish back in the water. It swam back and forth in the water before darting back down to the mud. The mud swirled up around it as it burrowed back down into it. "Guess it wanted to go home."
