Hale stirred, having bad dreams, and curled into Sojo's chest, mumbling slightly in his sleep. He stirred some more and blinked a little as he woke up; he didn't look all that well though, he was paler than usual and his eyes were glazed a little, on top of being red from crying.

Sojo looked down at Hale who had woken up. Sojo had been awake for a while but he hadn't moved as to not disturb the sleeping king. Sojo giggled at the thought of Hale being a king before he actually moved a little looking down at Hale "Cheer up, eh?"

Hale sat up and looked down at the bed miserably, pulling his kimono closed that had come open while he was sleeping and was now hanging low over his shoulders, revealing his soft pale skin. he couldn't even bring himself to look at Sojo right now, feeling so terrible for causing so much trouble; they hadn't even had a chance to finish the tea, which was probably stone cold and bitter by now. He frowned and coughed a bit, "I'm sorry," he apologised again, "I caused you so much trouble, and I endangered Hymn too, even abandoned my bottle... I have no right to be a guardian..." he choked a little, tearing up again, as he sat, kneeling on the bed next to Sojo, hiding his face with his hands again.

Sojo a bit frustrated grabbed Hale by his Kimono and pulled their faces together for a kiss. When he let the other a bit loose he smiled. "You did nothing wrong, your fit to be an owner because you've learned from your mistakes. Now, calm down." he ordered at the end sitting himself up on the bed.

Hale was a bit shocked at Sojo's show of force, though he didn't mind it at all. As he was released he sat back up and fidgeted, not wanting to apologise again and upset Sojo more, but he didn't know what to say.
After a few minutes, his stomach growled slightly to indicate that he hadn't eaten since the previous night, because techncially, he had come over to Sojo's during his breakfast hour, hence why he had scones and jam with him. "I-I..." he mumbled, stopping himself again before he apologised, and clutched his kimono more tightly around his shoulders, though that only caused one of the tears made by the imps to rip more and he flinched at the noise and blushed as it ended revealing more of his shoulders; he coughed slightly, though whether it was from embarrassment or something else, he hid it very well.

Sojo slid up and nibbled for just a second on Hale's neck again before he slid too off the bed pulling Hale with him. It was time for something to eat. As they went down the stairs Sojo was surprised to see Hymn up and about fixing the last of last nights mess, managing to hide it in time from Hale. As a meal lined the table Sojo smiled, Hymn had gone and fixed a full out breakfast. Since literally, it was breakfast for all of them.Hymn smiled as Sojo came down the stairs leading Hale to the table. He managed to sweep up the last of the dust on the floor making sure everything was fixed. Smiling, Hymn put the supplies in the supply room and re-entered clean. Taking his seat too at the table he smiled at Hale "How did you sleep?"

Hale blushed as Sojo nibbled him, but it didn't recede as the God led him down downstairs. He looked around with a little bit of awe; did it look cleaner than before? He wasn't sure. Hale stiffled another little cough by pretending he was clearing his throat a bit, "I-I slept alright," he mumbled, fidgeting with his messed up kimono and staring shamefully at the floor, "Are you ok?" he asked after a moment's pause.

"I'm great," lied Hymn, you couldn't tell he was though. The truth was is under his shirt bandages covered a gash in his back from one Imp's bite. Sliding around in his chair a little he started in on the food after welcoming the other two to do the same.

Hale bit his lip but stopped himself from saying anything; the truth was, he could easily tell when people lied to him, it was part of his job after all. He looked up at Sojo, a concenred look in his eyes and then he looked back at the floor and shuffled over to the table and sat down without a word, thought he didn't start eating, despite being hungry.

Sojo smiled at Hale and waved Hymn off whispering to him. "He's really fine, just in a bit of pain. He keeps his mind off of it by being cherry." he explained. Sojo pulled out a plate for himself and put some food on his plate before taking the first sip of the Cider that was steaming a bit. "Ow! Ow! OW!" Sojo complained almost dropping the cup "That's just off the stove.."

"O-oh," Hale replied as the words sunk in. "T-thank you for saving me, Hymn-chan," Hale said softly, inadvertantly giving the boy a title like he did with Sojo.
He looked up at Sojo as he burned himslef, "S-sojo-san, you should be more careful with hot liquids," he said, getting up and returning with an ice cube from the freezer, "here, this should help cool your mouth," he said, holding it up to Sojo.

Sojo frowned taking the little cube to gently numb his lip just a little so he couldn't feel the burn. Taking a smaller sip this time he smiled at the sweet flavor. "Very nice Hymn," he said smiling at the dust who ate smiling at the two.
"Thank you too," said Sojo thinking a bit before speaking again, "Thank you, love."

Hale reddened a little more as Sojo spoke, and he quickly turned back to his own food and drinking the cider quickly to hide his face, forgetting that it was boiling still, "Ow~!" he moaned, shocked from the heat and haphazardly spilling some in his lap too and tearing up again. Hale seemed to having a really bad day in general.

Sojo looked up at the slight jump in activity in the room. Looking curiously over to Hale he shook his head before he went over to the male and smiled sitting beside him in a chair scooting a bit closer. As he got closer Sojo noticed all the little scratches and immediately pulled Hale out of the chair and up to his room. "Change into these," Sojo said pulling some clothes out of the closet.

Hale was shocked as he was suddnely dragged away from his breakfast without getting to eat any to suddenly get changed for some reason. Standing there a little confused and teary-eye, he blinked at Sojo and accepted the clothes.
He turned and set them down on the bed and started to slip off his kimono, trying hard to ignore his badly burned mouth; he didn't want to bother Sojo with is since he had caused so much trouble already.
