He hesitated. Crescentkit could be such a rat sometimes. "Yaah!" Ravenkit pounced her. "Crescentpelt, StarClan demands you be punished for eating Veilclaw and Flashfrown, and calling your leader fat! From here on you will be Cannibalfang!" The whole time he purred, and laughed at the end of his speech.

Crescentkit giggle purred, squishing his face together with her paws, "Ravensong, don't be silly! Of course I didn't eat them!" She nipped his nose and quickly squirmed out from under him. "Though..." she lowered her tail, now serious, "there has been quite the shortage of food..." She looked outside the nursery and at the freshkill pile, "it seems to dwindle even smaller each day, doesn't it...?"

At the same Flashfrown, he turned around and spat at Crescentkit and Ravenkit. "What kind of name's are those?!?" He hissed, his ears flat against his skull, tail lashing angrily. Being easily set off again he hissed at them and walked off, muttering incoherently things to himself while moving to another corner. Flashkit hated when he heard them, hated when he heard names like that, he hated them period. It was obvious, very obvious.

"We were only playing!" Ravenkit called after his brother. How a kit could be so moody, he didn't know. He wouldn't be surprised if Flashfrown would be Flashkit's warrior name, or something like it.(Like Flashtemper! XD *shot*)
Ravenkit turned back to Crescentkit. "I guess it's a greenleaf thing." He looked at Darkmist as she stirred.

Crescentkit frowned at Flashkit, he was never going to have any fun in life if he took it all so seriously. She nodded to Ravenkit, "maybe, lets ask mom, she's waking up anyways." Padding over to Darkmist she sat, waiting.

The black kit nodded. He liked his sister's more serious moments. Ravenkit sat next to Crescentkit, and watched his mother's flank go up and down as she muttered things.
After a few heartbeats, Darkmist yawned and opened her eyes to two violet gazes. She almost jumped. "Crescentkit? Ravenkit?" The queen asked groggily, blinking and yawning some more.

"Mom~? Why is the fresh kill pile always getting smaller? Ravenkit says it's a greenleaf thing but it really doesn't look like the warriors or anyone was prepared for a greenleaf like this..." She drifted off, wondering if she was just being to paranoid, in greenleaf things were suppose to be hot! Should just shrug it off Ig uess...

A small form crawled forward, lowering his large ears against his head while the tiny body slunk toward the others. The expression seemed shy, unsure even, but curious more than anything. The dark tail flicked in the air, while the paws lightly tapped on the ground, reaching forward before stopping some feet away to watch the other kits, his siblings.
Nibbling his lip, the kit watched cautiously, observing their behaviors and wondered if joining in would be a wise decision.

Darkmist noticed Veilkit and beckoned him over. "How about all of you play a game together? Make your own Clan..." She saw Flashkit in a corner. "Flashkit, why don't you play with your brothers and sisters?"

Crescentkit pouted as her mother had heard nothing she had said. How was she suppose to repeat what she said when she didn't even remember herself!? Sighing and rolling her eyes, she paused before glomping Veilkit.

His lip curled in disgust. He couldn't play with them, they were all so... big. Too big that they might just hurt him enough. Flashkit's claws dug into the ground furiously. He would've let out a raw scream of anger, but then everyone would be staring. At him. "No, I'll just stay here." His head moved to nod slowly, eyes directly set on the ground before him.

The kit looked to his mother and heard her words, wondering what they could do together and if such an activity would be fun. Before he could get up he was suddenly tackled by his sister. "Omph," he murmured before grinning to her lightly, crawling up onto his paws just in time to observe Flashkit's reluctance. He didn't understand directly what was wrong, not knowing his brother's complex over his stature, but if he had understood, he would have retorted gently. Veilkit may have been taller than Flashkit, but surely he was not nearly as strong. Calcium was rich in his diet, while protean was not, and this was the sole thing that made him as skinny as he was. His distaste for meat was what drove his weight to stay so consistent.

Darkmist sighed, tired and a bit cranky and Flashkit's constant reluctance to be nice to his family. "Don't curl your lip at me." she croaked before curling back up, not willing to force him to play with his siblings.
Ravenkit's tail lashed. Flashkit was always a lump of dung when it came to doing anything relatively nice. The tom turned away from his brother, ignoring the fact Flashkit was a runt, as he always did, and concentrated on Veilkit and Crescentkit.

Crescentkit giggled and began pawing at Veilpaw and Ravenpaw's ears. She tried not to even notice Flashkit's behavior. She didn't like thinking about it, it made her sad, and guilty that it may have been something she did.
