Chapter 7 -{young love is cute}
It was time for work! I hopped out of bed took a shower and did my makeup. I just had to get dressed... What to wear what to wear. I decided to wear my huge Slash shirt skinnt jeans, and of course Mikeys leather jacket and my Converses.

Of course when I got to work both Kenny and Manny noticed the happiness and the jacket. Manny is the nice one that works there, and Kenny is the a*****e dude that I have little argueing matches with. But we're friends in a weird way. I was doing inventory with them when the questions started flowing. As we were sorting everything Manny brought it up lightly. "Who is this Mikey that's your #1 on myspace?" she said curiously, and Kenny added "How did this b*****d pass me?" he said in the way he always does to make me laugh. So I satarted explaining "He is my boyfriend." "MIKEY?!?!" they both exclaimed in unision. "yeahhh" I said back. "Um may I ask,,, why?" said the smart a** Kenny. "because he is everything I could ask for." I stated matter-of-factly. Kenny was starting to make fun of him, or me, (who knows with that kid) when Manny hit him and said "You know what, shut the f*ck up, young love is cute. Tell me more Bec." Kenny was rubbing his shoulders and left to help a customer and was muttering something that sounded like another smart a** comment. So she made me spill everything, even my talk with Bob. She understood where I was coming from. Damn I love her. She totaly gets me. I love that job, Kenny and Manny are like my siblings. Kenny is like my big brother. He protects me when Bob can't. It's kind of annoying. But I love that dude, he's so great to me when he isn't being protective.

As soon as I knew it my shift was over and I had to go take out the trash. I was shutting the trash can as I felt hands around my eyes. "Guess who" said the voice of Mikey. "Hmmm, I don't know, is it Mikey per chance?" I said giggling. The giggles were contagious. I was lightly dangling from his arms when I heard Kennys smart a** "Wait for us to leave before you make out in public again." Mikey was faking a look of complete shock. "why I never." I said hugging Mikey.

Mikeys POV
She was wearing the jacket. And looked really happy to see me. I don't know how I ended up with her. Her smart a** friend Kenny was quite unthrilled at our romance when he showed up. But Manny really seems to like me even though I don't much know her. She back hand slapped Kenny as soon as he was a smart a** and said "Shut up short stuff." I quite liked her. So we decided to leave before any more trouble started. She skipped holding my hand across the parking lot. "Come on Mikey skip with me." she said flashing thee smile. I had no choice, so we skipped feeling the wind in my hair. Her hair was flipping and she was giggling, and I was too. I didn't care what anyone else thought, in this moment, with this girl, I was at my happiest.

When we got to my house she walked in after I had walked in. We were in the kitchen. I was akward so I asked her if she wanted coffee "Of course, I love coffee!" she said enthusiasticaly. I made coffee silently as she stood, staring at some of Gerards artwork. "amazing..Who made these..?" she said obviously blown away. "That's Gerards, he's really good at art." Suddenly the coffee dinged, I went and got it and suggested we go see my room. She agreed and we were up the stairs, coffee in hand.


Beccas POV
An hour later we were laying on his bed, listening to Appetie For Destruction. It was the billionth time I've heard it, and it's my favorite album. But I felt as if I was just discovering how much joy it could bring. He started gentely singing along to Sweet Child O Mine and I was feeling on top of everything. As Mikey was singing to me someone barged in. It was Gerard. "Oh thank jesus I didn't interupt anything this time." he said being very smart of course.
"Oh Becca I hope you don't mind but we're going on a double date."
