Felk huffed and snorted as he slammed his car door. Well, this must be the place, unless his GPS had decided to lie to him again. The skull and voodoo doll lay safely in the bottom of a brown paper bag. He approached the front desk and leaned on it with one arm, pushing his sunglasses up his nose.

Layla sat there in her chair, once more, never paying attention. As the man approached, there didn't seem to be any indication that he was even present. But still, she quickly glanced up and then did notice his presence.
"Oh! I'm very sorry! Hello. Welcome to PI. I'm Layla. You must be Felk. I'll get the professor right away." she said with a smile. She then walked into the back and a few seconds later, she came back out. "He'll be right with you." she said smiling, sitting back down and paying no more attention to the man.
A few seconds later, a man dressed in an expensive blue robe appeared. "Well, hello there Felk. I've been expecting you. If you would like, I can tell you exactly what it is I need from you, and we can be on with it, or if you have some time, we can chat." he said smiling, standing at the desk.

Felk just blinked at the guy. What...was he some kind of fruit? "Eccentric" wasn't the right word...
"I brought your stuff, and I have time. I guess."

"Great! Would you like to sit down? If you have any questions, please, go ahead and ask. I promise I won't bite haha." he said smiling, showing Felk to a seat in the middle of the room.
The Professor sat in his designated chair and smiled, waiting and watching the new man that has been chosen. "Please, have a seat." he said smiling.

Felk sat, crossing his arms behind his head and his ankles on the table between them. Ah, he was definitely a casual man.

Professor Thorn sat there with a raised brow. "Well, would you like to ask any questions? If so, feel free. Umm, also, would you like to hand me over the items please?" he asked, rather selfishly. He put out his hand to allow him to place the bag into it. He wanted it, then he would tell him what he had to do to receive his reward.

Felk handed the bag over, not knowing that one of the doll's "hands" had come partially unattached. Oops. Guess he should have been more careful!
"Yeah. Did you ask me to do this because of the pops?" He pointed to the little gaggle of people with cameras gathering outside.

The Professor looked outside. "Oh, no. What are they doing here? I should have realized that you are a model, correct? Well, they should not be too big a problem. Layla, please, take care of them." he asked, snapping his fingers at her.
She did as he had asked. She got up and walked over to the windows and closed them all, and locked the front doors, then returning to her seat and comfortable position of sitting in her chair while reading.
Thorn took the bag, and said, "Well, now all I ask is that you stay here, with us, over the course of a night. Tomorrow you will receive your reward." He was excited to have yet another guest staying at the house with them. He clutched the bag tight, waiting for a response.

Felk nodded and stayed staring at the professor while his 'Layla' closed them off from the outside world.
"...d'you have a room for me? I ain't sleepin' on no couch."

"Well, of course I do haha. I am not going to force you to live on a couch. Here is a room key for you." he said smiling, pulling out a key out of a pocket. He then threw it at the boy. "There. It's on the third floor. Have a field day. It was nice meeting with you." he said smiling. He got up, took his bag, and went into the back room. Leaving Felk out in the lobby, anything could happen.

Felk nodded and went back to the counter, twirling the key around his finger.
"Layla, is it? Feel like joining me?" Hey, it never hurt to ask...well, sometimes it hurt afterward when he got slapped in the mug, but the actual asking was pretty easy.

She looked up at him with a both brows up. "Well, actually, I'm not allowed to get into the business with my uncle and his clients. Sorry. But, you're hott. I totally would." she said smiling. She was a slut at heart. But she couldn't deliberately disobey the professor. That would be bad.

Felk chuckled. Oh, man, that's awesome. He shook his head, still laughing as he went up the elevator and settled down in his room, lounging and falling asleep almost immediately.

Rennie didn't seem very pleased with the fact that he'd have to spend the night, scratching at his jaw and looking at Layla with suspicion. Still, it sounded like he might get something good for his efforts...
Very slowly he reached into his pocket once again, taking out the baggie with the riceball inside and almost tossing it into the woman's hand.
"Just what kinda reward is it gunna be? I mean, I need to be able to pay rent, and stuff," he added, not quite agreeing to stay the night, but it didn't sound like he was going to be leaving, either.

Shah stared at the large oak doors that led to the building in which this Professor Thorn guy waited. He still had no idea what type of reward he'd be getting from this guy nor what the purpose of this bow was. Still, he was here and more then glad to be too. He had nothing to do today in the first place so whatever happened happened. It couldn't be that bad, I mean getting the bow had been easy enough. Still, it'd be nice to get something that was worth more than a couple minutes of pure annoyance and slight satisfaction. The bow was tied in Shah's pocket, put in neatly only because of it's color. He missed Krisha.
Shah pushed the oak doors opened and approached the front desk. He glanced around, there was no one here. He frowned slightly, already annoyed with the lack of company. He wasn't going to wait around forever, he wasn't a very patient man. He leaned over the desk, staring across to the door on the other side. He tapped his hands against the counter top creating a echo throughout the room. He whistled to himself as he waited, tapping and whistling.
Where the hell was every body?
