"If I influence someone else then they are not following my path on their own accord, they are doing it because I swayed them"-Hyuuga Sorain
((note: I am only rping like this on the ground that Sorain is a Hyuuga and is exceltent at hand to hand combat and countering So I figure that he would be able to counter and take you on eaisly close range.))

Sorain teleported took one step and then teleported agian. He was moving faster than he ever did but he already could tell that the mist instantaneous body skill was nothing like the flicker jutsu that he herd some much about. Unlike the flicker skills this did take alot out of him. He was thrilled to see the gates to the village off in the distance. He turned quickly as soon as he sinced the girls chakra comming. He figured that he must have had a good jump on her or he would never have been able to beat her here. She cought up so fast, he made a mental note to do all that he could to learn how to flicker in some form or die trying. Sorain braced himself for her arrival as soon as he sinced her chakra go off and then back on he knew she was about to arrive, he made his move before she even landed reaching and grabbing her arm and cheking to make sure that the thumb print was still there."Good" He said as the rest of her body formed."We are here. Looks like your faster than me after all. If I had not had a head start you would have beaten me. But I will not be removing your contract with my scroll untill we return to the mist so dont try and go rouge hero out here." He said turning his back and stepping closer to the ledge that they were standing on that leaded to a small waterfall. At the bottom was a rather small village but it was still home to many."Well if all we are going to do is go talk to them then I think that it might be unwise to keep em waiting." He said leaping off the ledge forming hand signs on the way down. The water from the water fall raised and met his feet and he proocded to ride the rift all the way down to the bottom. He looked back up and waved,"See you in the village b***h" He said nodding to her in jeer and then turned taking one step and his body bursting into mist reforming at the village gate. She had left a sour taste in Sorains mouth and he would not soon be making friends with her. But he did like that she did not pretend to be something she was not, I mean. She was a b***h and all but at least she did not try to hide it.

((Yeah *shrugs* I'm not that concerned with it. It makes for an interesting RP. Vykin's not used to a person that's a d**k back to her, so this is fun to RP for me anyway.))

The Genin ran through the woods as fast as she could, and yet, the boy's chakra was still ahead of her. She swore slightly as she continued to run, feeling that she was beginning to catch up to him. But then the boy's chakra stopped, and after around ten seconds, she had caught up to him, landing on the branch that he was standing on. She saw the gates to the village in front of them, and swore slightly to herself, knowing that she had been beaten. It was a slight punch to her pride, but it was one of the smaller ones that she had had today. As she listened to Sorain, she was surprised to hear that he admitted to her being faster than him. She smirked triumphantly at this, but knew that he was still better than her at other stuff, so she kept her small mood of triumph to a minimum before returning to a neutral mood. Sorain jumped off of the branch and landed on the ground with a fancy technique, and Vykin merely rolled her eyes. She jumped to the ground like a real ninja should, standing up afterward. Sorain was right though. It seemed like this was a rather speedy request, so they shouldn't keep them waiting. As he teleported away, a flash of red chakra went over her body, soon replaced with her water elemental chakra. She moved through the air just as Sorain began walking into the village, appearing right next to him. She smirked slightly towards him, saying, "You're going to have to try harder in order to get rid of me that way a*****e. Anyway, if we're going to work together on this mission, we might as well talk to the village together... where's that other a*****e, Sai or whatever? Wasn't he going to come with?" Vykin then remembered, somewhat as an afterthought, "And you never told me your name either, not that it's that important. I prefer calling you by different things anyway," she added with the smirk on her face growing wider.

She wasn't really saying these things out of annoyance or hate anymore. Maybe Sorain would notice a sort of change in her voice. Sure she was pissed off easily, but she was beginning to like Sorain. Most of the things that she said were in jest, but she wouldn't have any idea if he found them funny until he answered. As they walked through the village, Vykin was noticing that they were getting strange looks. She was walking on the right side of Sorain, so her device was partially hidden, and people seemed to be looking around her, trying to look at it. People were giving Sorain his fair share of weird looks. A couple went running to tell others in the village, and Vykin realized that they probably weren't going to have to wait to find anyone to talk to. They would find them, considering that their symbols were in plain view. Sure enough, there were three robed and elderly looking men that came out of a large building and looked towards the pair. Then they began walking towards them, intending on meeting them. Vykin decided that it would probably be better for Sorain to initiate conversation with them considering he would probably be calmer than her and be more formal too. So she waited to see what he would say to greet them.

"If I influence someone else then they are not following my path on their own accord, they are doing it because I swayed them"-Hyuuga Sorain
Sorain was happy to meet someone who was not like the others, so good and noble and all that crap. He looked to his left just as she landed next to him. He did not want to inform her that with his eyes he could see everywhere she was going to be before she even landed there. He could since her chakra shooting to that spot before she even moved making it very easy for him to counter, that in itself was the draw back of the flicker skills but sorian would never tell this. As they walked through the village Sorain noticed that people were staring at her device, he had sympathy. Although he had never told anyone before Sorain too had an artifical limb that he never showed to anyone, but his was well made and not easy to tell the diffrence from his real body parts. Leaning in he whispered,"Ignore them. They are the ones calling us for help remember?"

Once he got to the main office of the village he found who he was looking for. He reached into his sleeve and pulled out the mission scroll that he plucked off his new female partner while she was still fussing and then presented it to a rather old looking man. He paied little attention, something about werewolves running riots every one hundred or so years and that they lacked the miliatary strenght to fight them off and they needed help really bad and blah blah. He wondered how Sai was going to catch up now that his marble was in the swap. He knew this because he no longer sinced it on her and he knew that she had been to the swamp, it did not take a phycic, although he was partly, to guess.

Wow, is there a reason that Sorain keeps on ignoring Vykin asking what his name is... heh, I find it hilarious quite frankly, but she's gonna get pissed off at him for it soon... XD

When Sorain told her that she should ignore the villagers, she merely shrugged it off. So she was different and they wanted to look. Let them look. She didn't care that much. As Sorain presented the elderly men with the scroll, Vykin did a double take as she reached for her side. When the ******** did he- Vykin narrowed his eyes at the other shinobi. She was going to have to be more careful around him. He was stealthier than she had even realized. But rather than discount what the old men were saying like Sorain was doing, she listened to them with a polite interest, knowing that they were the ones that were going to tell them important information about their mission. The first one said in a fairly quiet and calm voice, "Welcome to our village... if you got this and are coming here alone... then that means that Jayden is dead then..."

All three of the men showed some remorse with the loss of the man. The second one looked up and said in a deeper and louder voice, "So I expect that you two experiences the threat that we are facing. And yet you come here with just you two... children?! Don't you understand that-"

"Please excuse my friend,"
the first one interrupted, successfully silencing the other elder. "He does not know the strength of the Mist Village. If they felt the need to send only two ninja, then they are right. But you should understand our situation..." he took a breath before continuing, "The village has always had a problem with these lycans before. Ever since the introduction of our village, people had always been taken by these lycans. As we progressed in our skills of fighting back, they merely became stronger. They developed the ability to turn our own into one of them. Finally, there are so many lycans, that we needed to get help from the Mist village."

Considering Sorain wasn't paying attention, Vykin took over speaking and said, "Well, the one that we fought... I suppose this Jayden... he was strong, but we managed to beat him. Around how many of these things are there now?"

The third elder spoke now, speaking in a squeaky voice as he said, "We have no idea. They come from the forests in the east... that's all we know. Any raiding parties we have sent in that direction have ended up in failure... either without finding anything or in the death of the party. The thing about lycans... is during the day, they conceal themselves... it is during the night when they become active and attack the village. It is only then that we can hunt them... just as they can hunt us."

Vykin swore quietly under her breath. In the night? That just seemed like a bad idea. She looked to Sorain, who had ignored her questions from before, so now she said, "Well..." she was going to say his name, but realize she still didn't know it, "well, what do you think? Should we wait until night or try looking for these lycans now? If we could find them now, we probably would be able to defeat them easier... but at night, we would be sure to fight all of them instead of finding a few at a time. It's up to you. You're the expert strategist in this group...," she finished with a slight mocking tone.

P.S. The second paragraph is just to make up for not posting XP All it is a silly dream of the night when Sai's parets were killed and his baby sitter tried to kill him. Everything else is about the mission though. Also I get cheesy alot because of the amount of typing I'm doing for one post >.>

Sai reappeared just a little distance away from where he and Sorain had ran into the strange girl a lycan. Sighing he looked back just in time to see Sorain take off to catch up with the girl, leaving Sai completely alone. 'Werewolfs... A freakin' werewolf... Hold on I just killed a ******** werewolf?!' Sai thought as his eyes widened brightly and he quickly made his way back to where the dead monster lay. It was just dawning on him that he had just killed a beast that shouldn't be existence, before he understood what he had done and was keeping his composure as the squad leader but now that he was alone everything was hitting him like a ton of bricks. Werewolfs were mythological creatures that were half man and half wolf. They were not suppose to exist and yet here it was laying infront of him, a lycan, werewolf, half man and half wolf. Sai knelt down the body of the dead beast again, his fingers lightly grazing over a pool of blood that was leaking from the creatures forehead where Sai had blasted one of his marbles through. The blood was still warm, and the feel of it on his finger tips was a bit eerie but yet comferting in a way that Sai didn't understand. Sighing he shook his head and whiped the blood off onto the lycan's ripped clothing. Taking a double take Sai fell backwards and stared at the tattered clothing in a slight surprise before laughing sadly to himself and repositioning himself by the lycan. 'What's wrong with me, ofcaurse it would have some sort of clothing... This beast was once human at one time...' He hought to himself as he re-started his inspection of the beast, his hand feeling through it's fur as he looked inside of it's ears and lifted the eyelids before staring into the glazed iris. It was a good half hour before he was done checking out the body and a squad of medical nin had shown up to take the body away to do their own inspection. Sighing again Sai loked up at the misty sky, the sun once again shining more brightly then it normally did in the water country, "Guess it's time to play catch up..." He said to himself as he stretched out his weary leggs before dashing to the nearest building and flickering away.

Sai yawned loudly as he appeared suddenly on the windowsill to his room of his parents house, or more truthly his house now that his parents had left the country. Smiling Sai opened the window of the room and slipped in his eyes quickly scanning the room slowly as he made his way to his bed and flopped down onto it. It had been a long time since he'd been able to rest on his bed, let alone even be in his own house. He was always so busy with missions, or training or something of the sort. Always falling asleep at his own lake, the various ramen shacks in the village, or at the library. And even though he knew that right then this was the last thing he should've been doing Sai couldn't help but lay on his long missed bed and just relax his mind and body, slowly he drifted into a sleep as his mind nestling deeply into a dream or nightmare to be exact. Within his dream Sai was watching himself as a baby, it was the night of his parents’ death and he was silently asleep in his crib, a young girl watching him with maliciousness in her eyes as her hand rested on a kitchen knife. There was an unbearable silence that clung deeply in the room as if in anticipation of the nearing event that this young girl was waiting for. Sai stared at the girl but the details of her face were unclear, all he could tell was that she of fair skin and had a light brown colored hair. He sighed and gave up on trying to figure out who it was and turned to look at the rest of the room, amazingly the details were complete and sharp in the lower areas of the room and then became more and more unclear as it rose, the ceiling itself unseen. It started to dawn on Sai that it most have been the fact that as a baby the more familiar he was with something the better he would be able to see it currently.
Sai’s thoughts on his new found theory was quickly interrupted as he noticed the girl get up in start. Sai looked at her confused before looking out the window as he began to hear the distant rumble of shouting and hollering. As he looked down the path he could see the faint glimmer of Torch Light and the shadows of a large mob. It was hard to make out how large the mob was everything was so distorted, there was a strong wind and a heavy rain showering down on the path. Everything looked as though it was just one large splotchy being moving in every which way but sadly it was still nearing the place in which the baby Sai was at. The closer they got the better, the present time, Sai could hear them and the more he was getting nervous for the safety for himself and his baby self. Frantically he took out a kunai knife and slashed at the girl hovering over the crib that held himself as a child before snatching at the child that lay inside the crib. Sadly he looked at his hands as they went straight through the child and the crib as though they weren’t there, his eyes turning upon to the girl who stood there unfazed by the kunai and untouched by it as well. Desperately he continued to slash at her as the sounds of orders to burn the house became clearer to his drumming ears. Each slash of the knife did no more damage then the one before it, repeatedly did he slashed and repeatedly did it go through her body as if it was no more than a illusion. Sadly the kunai fell out of his hand as he dropped to his knees shaking with fear the pressure of everything was too much, all he could do was watch as the mob of people lit fire to the outside and inside of the house. The girl slowly bent over the baby the knife in her hand prepared to stab straight through his small body, her features becoming more and more clearly, she had beautiful blue eyes and pink lips that looked like it could soothe a child with a single word. Her cheeks were flushed rose with the knowledge of her doings. It was mind-boggling how much he could have believed that she was an Angel right then but slowly flames started to burn into the room and their tongues slivered out to lick at her body. Slowly her face became that of a demon, her lips black as coal, her blue eyes dark and malevolence, her whole being was that of evil and as it loomed over the child it began to wail and cry for protection. As in slow motion Sai saw clearly as the girl pull backwards and brought down her knife upon the child. His entire being shook with unbelievable fear as he stood up and rushed to the protection of the child his hand stretched out but the more he ran to it the farther he got from it. He felt so useless as if everything he was had disappeared as though he had no reason to be alive as he watched slowly the knife bear down onto the child and then everything stopped. The entire scene froze completely and grayed the only thing that was truly seeable in complete detail was the crib and the girl, the flames no longer had any fearsome in them anymore, the mob no longer had any malice hidden in them anymore, everything seemed just there as though it was just normally there. And then he realized it was because all of it was afraid, the fire, the mob, girl, himself, everything was afraid now all but the baby, the helpless baby was the only one not afraid. And that was because all the malice that had once surrounded the child and made it quiver and wail in fear was now filled in him and everything around him was scared and shivering and crying out in silenced fear. All in one sudden motion his entire body flew all the way back to the room as the color returned to everything and time started again. And as it did spikes of ice soared out of the child surging through everything in the room, Sai’s head turned to see what had happened to the girl but the ice went through him as well, soaring him back to consciousness.

Sai panted heavily as his entire body shook violently, beads of sweat drenching his face. A dream, a memory of the night when his real parents were killed and an attempt on his life was taken, all because of a stupid kekkei genkei... Growling heavily he got up from where he laid and quickly made his way to his bathroom to wash up his sweaty face. Sighing Sai came back out extremely more calm as he quickly took off his shirt and tossed it onto a small pile of laundry near by before going into his closet and pulling out a black button down shirt with gold decals going down it. After slipping into the shirt quickly and buttoning it down, Sai slipped back out of his room and shut the window loudly before dropping to the ground below. A grin quickly spread across Sai's face as he darted for the nearby fishing lake that belonged to his family, it was barely a few yards away from him and he was there in a mere moment.

Just at te edge of the lake stood an extremely large black gourd, the kanji 空自('FREE') was painted in large red paint on the side. It matched perfectly with the pouch that carried the 63 marbles that Sai used, the exact same kanji and colors that was of the gourd was the same to the pouch. A grin spread across Sai's lips as he walked to the gourd, the wooden top rattling slightly. A sound of rattling was constantly being immedit from the gourd, giving lead to believe that there was something alive with in the gourd. With a loud grunt Sai gripped one of the straps to the gourd and swung it onto his shoulder, the gourd was easily the size of his mid section if not more and weighed a good 40 pounds by itself but whatever was inside the gourd had filled it up almost to the rim and obviousy should've made the gourd weigh much more. Although for some reason Sai showed no signs of strain, let alone even realizing that there was any weight on him at all. Letting out another yawn, Sai made a few hand signs as he concentrated on the marble that he hid on the girl's person, his body immediately dissappearing from sight.

In the same instance that Sai was at the lake's edge, he suddenly appeared in at the bottom of a swamp, his hand gripping the marble that Vykin had tossed in there. 'You got to be kidding me... She ******** THREW MY MARBLE INTO A SWAMP!!!!' Sai thought to himself now enraged as he surfaced to the top of the swamp, his body bobbing slightly in the mukky water as his head searched around. Growling Sai pulled himself out of the swamp and stood on it's surface the grim and sludge hanging on his cloths slightly. Sighing he looked off into the distance where Sorain and the girl were rushing to get to the village, a violent chakra was immediting from her but it kept on fluctuating strangly. Maybe it was tied to her emotions? Shrugging to himself he waved his hand carelessly causing all of the sludge to fly off of his body leaving him as if nothing had ever had happened, and with that Sai quickly took off at a blinding speed after the two before letting his body disappear with his speed, his hand slipping the recovered marble back into the pouch.

Sai reappeared with in the village, just arriving a few minutes after Sorain and the girl. "You stupid little..." He began to mutter under his breath as he was just about to attack the girl but quickly stopped himself when he saw the two talking with three elderly men. Sighing he quickly made his way to a nearby building and leaned against he wall, his gourd dropping to the ground cracking the concrete beneath it silently. He knew much better then to allow his personal feelings affect the mission and it would be better for him to stay on the sidelines so that it would give a better image to the mist instead of making it seem as though they were a untamed, and unorganized. Rolling his neck to the left and then to the right, allowing it to pop loudly, Sai watched on quietly as the five of them continued their discussion of the lycans.

"If I influence someone else then they are not following my path on their own accord, they are doing it because I swayed them"-Hyuuga Sorain
Sorain folded his arms and then srcrached his head. "Well on the one hand if these are the type of werewolves that can turn back into humans during the day then I dont think we will be able to find them. On the other hand if we wait till tonight they will most likely be more powerfull. Tell you what, We will stay here in the village tonight and stake it out. I will wait up there" He said pointing to a large tower that was used for sending messages via birds."From there I will be able to see anything that goes on. You and Sai can..well you can just chill untill I give you the word." He said and then finnaly decided to tell her,"Sorain" He said and said nothing more, He turned to Sai and then shook his head,"You should have known better than to leave the marble with her.. I could have easily taken the marble for you" He said folding his arms into his sleeves."So does anyone have any protest to my plan? and No im not the one that normally is the plan maker" He added to Vykin."But I figure im doing a good job right now though." He said taking the scroll and slipping it back to her,"Oh and by the way, you might be faster than me, But i assure you that Sai is the true speed whore around here." He said nodding.

Vykin nodded slightly after listening to all of what Sorain had to say... even his name, finally. Was he beginning to lighten up towards her too? She hoped not because he was more fun this way. A mental smirk flashed through her mind as her real face was still impassive and in an annoyed look. She noticed that Sai had decided to join them, obviously covered in muck from the swamp. So he had actually teleported to the marble that he had planted on her? It looked like Vykin had another victory on her hands. A triumphant fanfare played in her mind as she ignored him for the time being and focused on Sorain. She thought about the plan he had outlined. She had then noticed the man's eyes. They were just like Hatari's... which meant that he was a Hyuugan. A lot of things suddenly clicked for her as she began to start noticing these things. She finally said, "Alright, I guess that works for me. But instead of just sitting around, I think that I'm at least going to look around to see what kind of defenses that this village has to offer," she looked over to Sai as she said, "You're welcome to tag along, even though you're late to the party."

She then turned back towards the elders. The first one began to speak again as he said, "There is one thing that you guys should know about the lycans. We have taken the liberty of preparing these for you all."

The man pulled out three bags. Vykin took them, tossing one to Sorain and one to Sai. Inside was a gray powder. Before she could ask about it, the second elder said, "This is powdered silver. We have found out that lycans are very susceptible to silver, for whoever knows why. If you sprinkle this on your weapons, then it will give them a silver augmentation, or in otherwords increase their power against lycans."

Vykin attached the pouch to her belt, using one of the small clasps to attach it to the side of it. She bowed to the elders and said, "Thank you for your advice. We can take it from here."

The elders nodded and the third one said, "Alright, we will move the villagers into our safety bunkers. Once the morning comes, we will see how you have fared. The best of luck to you all."

With that, the villagers began to move towards small buildings around the village. These small buildings were actually entrances to the complex tunnels that were underneath the village that hid the villagers away from the attacks. As they left, the Genin looked back to Sai. As she remembered back to what Sorain had said about him being a speed whore, she chuckled to herself. He was definitely the whore in this operation.

Sai caught the bag tossed to him swiftly before tossing it towards Sorain, "You hold onto it. The marbles are metalic either way so I shouldn't need it but hold onto it just in case of anything..." He said quietly to Sorain before picking up the large black gourd and swung it onto his shoulder by one of the red straps that hung from the side. A slight sigh left his lips as he merely closed his eyes and walked away ignoring both Sorain and Vykin, his body vanishing from the area quietly. After the dream he had just recently had and the anoyance of how arrogant Vykin acted was putting him on edge.

Just cus its metallic does not mean it has silver in it.

Sorain took the bag and then pulled out a pouch from his sleeve that was made to wrap around his arm. He spinkled alittle of the silver on his needles and then returned it to his sleeve. He then took the pouch and tied it to his hip,"Well. I really dont think that their defenses are all that great. Seeing as though we were not even questioned when we walked in, but what ever. You have been making smart choices so far so keep it up" He said as he took a very hell planed shot at the smart mouth girl and smiled in his silent victory."Sai, take the bag anways. Most likely if I see the lycans comming to the village you are going to be the first to intercept them. Then her, then me. So it would not be wise to have me hold the reserves of silver." He said pointing out. Today was a great day for Sorain, he was feeling as though he was really on the ball"Well then, Sai. If you dont mind keep this with you" He said giving him a scroll about the size of a barbe pin. He looked at the genin girl and figured that she would just rip it up again, so, just as swiftly as last time. He walked past her bumping her slightly while attatching to to the back of her shirt. He then proceeded to walk a few steps, and then his body burst into mist.

Sssh, I know but lets just pretend for the sake I do't wanna put some guys weird dust on my marbles xP

Sai appeared far into the distance his hand holding onto the scroll that Sorain had given him, the bag of silver dust he had refused to take back from him. Sighing Sai opened the scroll his eyes scanning it quickly before tying it to his waist, "Tch, so he plans to summon me to him or himself here?" He asked out loud not expecting an answer but still looking around to see if there was any. A small laugh left his mouth as he started to walk down a crowded street oath, his overally large black gourd forcing the people to shuffle out of his way as he walked through them uncaring. 'So Sorain is keeping watch, Vykin is probably somewhere around in the village trying to get info, and that leaves me to do what exactly?' Sai asked to himself in his thoughts as he leered off the main street to a less busy path, his head tilting to stare up at the sky. His hand had to sheild his eyes as the sun shone more brightly there then in the mist village, there was still mist and fog but it was as heavily condensed as it was back in his village and the sun was stinging his eyes badly. 'He never thought I would be dead weight or just muscle on a mission... Oh well, I guess their is no helping it. The sooner this mission is over the better.' Sai thought to himself as he dropped his gourd onto the ground causing it to crack the ground deeply before Sai himself hopped up to sit on the wooden lid of the gourd.

The Genin had by then wandered away from the gay couple and had proceeded with looking around the village for entry points that the lycans could get in. The village had been barricaded fairly well after the large amounts of lycan attacks that had taken place over the past couple of years. As she walked around the village, she followed the main street to the exit of the village. It had been shut because of the recent hiding of all of the members inside of the bunkers of the village, so she jumped on top of the walls around the gates. She looked around, noticing the various wooden spikes jutting out around the village. She looked around and knew that it would definitely deter most invaders to the village, and large amounts of enemies would have trouble getting through the defenses of this village. They really had been fighting a war. She looked to her right and noticed that there was a dog starting at her. The dog was rather small, a runt of the litter she supposed. She glared at the dog, but to no avail as the pup began wagging it's tail towards her. She pointed her sword towards the dog and said, "Stop ******** giving me that look, c**t!"

But as she stuck out her sword, the dog merely came closer, licking the tip of the blade out of curiosity. Vykin glared at the dog for a few more seconds before finally cracking. Squatting down on the ground, she moved her good hand over the dog's head, rubbing it slightly. The puppy closed it's eyes, this probably being the first time that it was ever petted. And boy did it feel good. As she got back up, glaring at the dog again, she continued walking down the village's walls. The dog continued to follow her. She looked over her shoulder slightly, and then shrugged slightly. Let the damn dog follow her if it didn't have anything better to do with it's time. She looked over the walls and plans began to flow through her mind. She wasn't good at anything ranged. However, Sai was. The boy was skilled with his marbles, enough to be able to fend off the werewolves before they entered the village. He wouldn't be able to fend off all of them though, and that's where Vykin came in. Better at hand to hand combat, she could take care of the lycans that entered the village, being able to take them on one by one should they get by Sai. Sorain, who would be monitoring the whole situation, could tell them where the lycan's were. But how? The Genin jumped down from the wall, right in front of an electronics store. Perfect. She tried the door, finding that it was locked. She sent chakra into the locking mechanism, lifting the proper metal pieces to their proper heights and finally, she unlocked the door. With a slight smirk, she pushed the door open, and grabbed three radio headsets. She walked out of the store, realizing that the dog was standing outside, still wagging it's tail. The Genin put a hand to her forehead in frustration as she said to the dog, "Alright dog, I'm tired of you following me around. I understand that you are bored and all, and I'm entertaining, but I have s**t to do. Do you understand?"

The dog obviously didn't respond, much to her dismay. She walked over to the area where Sai was sitting on his gourd, bored with what was happening. The Genin tossed him a headset and said, "This is how we are gonna keep in touch tonight. More importantly, how we're going to keep in contact with Sorain. Considering he's gonna be monitoring the situation, he'll be able to tell us when and where attacks are coming from. Then, since you have ranged attacks, you handle the lycans outside the walls while I'll get the ones on the inside, alright?"

Before he could respond, she had surrounded herself in her water elemental chakra and flickered across the ground and up the tower to where Sorain was, tossing him a headset and telling him the same thing, that she would be handling the inner enemies, and Sai would handle the outside ones. It was his job to keep them up to date on the locations of any and all lycans so they could move to protect the village. The Genin then jumped out of the tower and across the rooftops to the wall. And there she sat, waiting for the time to go by. As she looked behind her, the dog was there. She sighed, grabbing the dog and putting it in her lap. "We'll entertain ourselves then, alright pup?"

The dog didn't respond, but merely wagged it's tail in appreciation.

Mew... Go for it

Sai groaned slightly to himself as the humming sound within the gourd grew a bit louder before calming down again as Vykin showed up at the corner of the street. "Hmm... Wonder what that girl is doing now?" He thought to himself as she noticed him through the corner of her eye and quickly walked over. This is how we are gonna keep in touch tonight. More importantly, how we're going to keep in contact with Sorain. Considering he's gonna be monitoring the situation, he'll be able to tell us when and where attacks are coming from. Then, since you have ranged attacks, you handle the lycans outside the walls while I'll get the ones on the inside, alright? She said quickly as she tossed him a headset before using a water flicker to leave some where. "Hmm, so I'm gonna take care of keeping them away and she's gonna pick at the leftovers... Hunh?" He said as he looked down at the ground, a little dog looking at him and the spot where Vykin was standing not that long ago. After a few moments of sniffing and whimpering the dog quickly turned away to go find Vykin. "Hmmm, that reminds me... I wonder how those two are doing?" Sai said with a slight smirk as he fastened the headset on before hopping off his gourd only to sling it back onto his shoulder and walk away.

Alright, time skip... but not much inspiration...

But for the fight scene, let's make sure not to be just slaughtering lycan like they are really easy, kinda like you did the first one. They should be some sort of challenge for us considering that we're mere Genin ...

The minutes went into hours as Vykin stood at the edge of village walls, waiting for nightfall to come. Soon, the sun went down behind the trees, and Vykin stood up more, leaving the small dog to look over the forests that were in front of her. There hadn't been any movement all day, she had been checking in with Sorain to make sure of that. But now the probability that they would be attacked was much greater. The Genin radioed in to Sorain, "Sorain, any movement yet?"

The Genin kept an eye out for any sudden movements or chakra fluxuations. She looked over to see if Sai was going to join her. This wall was the wall that was most likely to be attacked according to the elders... so she stood guard, hoping that things would stay this quiet...
