ashlander_alpha I'll grant that some of history's greatest artists, musicians, and writers have used drugs, and it's possible, nay probable, that their work was influenced by them. But those few individuals produced such great work mostly because of natural talent, and not because they were junkies. The vast, vast majority of drug users aren't producing any sort of art while high...they're just, well, high. So I don't really buy into the "mind expansion" theory. it certainly wont expand everyone (or even most peoples) minds. and junk wont. H is just ******** up s**t

lotusvoid Digital Malevolence PandasRGr1mm Drugs aren't all too great. But the only reason I think people are taking notice in reality is that it is a huge market that can't be taxed by the government. confused The, U.S. Government is actually responsible for bringing in the majority of marijuana to the United States, they do it because there is so much money in it, which is why they would never make it legal. why do you think that? Because more people do it BECAUSE its illegal. And, the money can go straight into there own pockets with out being taxed. Plus, they can charge whatever they want.

interesting fact: the reason drugs are so profitable is because they are illegal, so people will pay extreme amounts for them. if the us government were to legalize such drugs as cocaine, a great many colombian farmers would not be able to make enough to survive

Well, he does say that the government brings the stuff into the country for the purpose of selling it. And that the money can go into their (assuming this refers to the government) pockets...without being taxed. Gov't taxing itself. Huh?

They would ALL have to be on the same page, agree to do it , not allow personal politics to get in the way of the goal (massive profit), hide it, make a working system of completely secret controlled overseas trade (AND IN SECRECY) and then well... you see where I am going with this?
