Tima sighed a little. "I think.......I think I won't think on it anymore." She smiled serenely and gave her radio a small shake, causing it to string out instrumental jazz. She listened to it for a few moments, then turned to Binx. "What kind of music do you like?"

"That a good idea, maybe it will come to you when you aren't thinking about it." Binx nodded and then listened to the music, "I'm not sure, I haven't listented to a lot before. What about you?"

Tima wanted to say that she would rather it not come to her at all, but the next question put it out of her mind. "I like all that I've heard so far. There is one type that I hear in a lot of places that send out loud waves. I don't like that one; it.....it makes my insides hurt."

"Oh, that does sound awful." He shook his head, music that did that? Who would like it? "Have you ever danced to the music?" He hdan't danced before, but thought it might be fun.

Tima shuddered a little. "Yeah; the people who listen to it must not feel things very well, since it doesn't hurt them. And I don't feel things easily, so if it hurts me, it must really hurt." She cocked her head with interest. "Danced? No, I've never danced. What is it?"

"Yeah, that doesn't sound very nice to me. I think I would like nicer music that makes you feel good." Binx smiled, "Well, dancing is where you move to the music. Some dance together and others next to each other."

Tima tried to remember seeing dancing, but her memory, fuzzed as it was, failed to bring up any images. She slowly shook her head. "I don;t think I've ever seen dancing. Is it fun? Does it look nice?"

"I think so. We could try it if you like?" He stood up and then smiled, "Turn up your radio and I'll try to show you how." He wasn't sure he would be a good teacher, but he could try.

"Okay." Tima ran a slender finger along the top of the radio, and it began to play a lively jig. She smiled and reached down, tying the radio to her belt sash. "It will stay on if it's touching me." She stood up straight as a pin, and looked at Binx expectantly.

"Well, hmm." He had to think this through and then smiled. "I guess I'll lead and you follow." He was sure he wasn't the greatest dancer, but he gave it a shot but twisting and turning to the music.

Tima watched Binx for about half of a minute, then she slowly moved her arms and legs into position and began mimicking Binx, stiffly at first, but gradually getting a rhythm and mirroring the moves better. She smiled at Binx, her eyes wide and full of childish delight. "Am I doing it right?"

Binx turned to watch her and nodded, "Yes, I actually think you are doing better than I am." He chuckled and winked at her as he continued to sway.

"Really?" She tried to twist more, and swore she heard something creak in her shoulder. Her smile diminished a little and she toned it down. She tried opening and closing her hands as she swayed, and then moving her head right and left.

Binx sat back to watch Tima, "Wow, you are a natural." He tried to keep up, but wasn't doing as well. "I think I'm better at running, but this is still fun. What do you think?"

Tima wasn't sure what a 'natural' was, but the way Binx had said it, it had to be something good. At the mention of running, she suddenly stopped dancing, and the radio music died away in a startled gurgle. "Running......." Her mind was suddenly filled with strange images: a boy with dark hair pulling her along by the hand through a dark place that was filled with whirring and clanking, as though machines were all aorund them. The boy turned to look behind them, and his face seemed so familiar. "There he is!" the boy shouted and he began to run faster, pulling her along while behind them, she heard a bullet whizz through the air and ping off somewhere to her right.
She blinked and found herself standing there in a daze, facing Binx. "I've done running before......were others chasing you too?"
