It would be best for you to go to your local body mod shop and ask them to see lip ring and labret retainers, and if they would peirce them with the retainers, (As the final jewlery going into your lips when you leave) or if not how long you would have to wait before being able to reguraly replace your rings with retainers for school and work situiations.
I know the place I go wont let you replace your jewlery untill they say its ok.
There rule is that they own your peircing untill it has fully healed.
