Paris turned his head to look back at her. "Content?" he questioned, dissecting her single word response, trying to figure out what she was really thinking. "Content doesn't seem the same as truly happy," he said finally.

Zsinor shrugged against his back and sighed. "Happiness..." she thought of it. She hadn't truley known what that was, even from when she was little. She had often been misunderstood, which is why she now talked so little. Works could be mis-interpreted, words could be mis-heard, actions could not.

Paris caught her sigh. That was all he needed. He determined then that he was going to make her happy...one way or another. It was then that he realized that he was only a few yards from the mouth of his cave. He suddenly stopped and hovered in place, staring at what he had been trying to avoid. He hadn't want to bring her here...not ever. He swallowed hard, resisting the urge he felt.

Zsinor lifted her head as she felt the air grow moderatly still. Her eyes set gaze apon a larger version of Paris' cave. She wondered why he had stopped.

Paris stayed hovering for a few moments longer. He gritted his teeth together, trying to resist the urge to bring her inside. He soon beat his wings harder, flying straight up, higher and higher into the sky. "Sorry about that," he said softly.

Zsinor looked down as the cave shrunk once more. She wondered why she wasn't allowed to see it closer, or even from the inside. It didn't bother her too much though. She started slumping over on his back as she was filled with a lightheaded feeling.

"The beach is just over the mountain," he said suddenly. He paused silently for a moment. "Are you alright?" He tried to turn his head back to look at Zsinor.

Zsinor tried to lift her head to look towards where he said. It was all a blur though, and she didn't try to keep looking at it. She rested her head on her paws and closed her eyes as she tried to make her head back to normal.

Paris carefully watched Zsinor out of the corner of his eye. "Zsinor?" he said, letting the concern show in his voice a bit more than he had planned.

Zsinor didn't show any response. It's not like she had heard him though, it was more like a buzzing in her ear.

Paris began to feel himself panicking. "Zsinor!" he almost yelled. he didn't know what to do. Frantically, he flew back down as fast as he could. He swiftly but gently landed on the ledge of his cave. He carefully slid Zsinor off his back and laid her on the ground. "Zsinor?" he brought his paw up close to her cheek, but didn't touch her.

Zsinor slowly lifted her head and blinked, her vision coming back. She was surprised to be on solid ground, much less the ground next to his cave. She looked around, disoriented. "Where....am....I...?"

Paris closed his eyes and smiled, relieved she was alright. "Don't worry. You're outside my home..." he said reluctantly. He peered into the darkness of the cave, the urge to steal her away inside even greater now.

"Cave...?" Zsinor said, her voice even lower than normal. She turned her head to looked at the mouth of the cave, and stared at it's amazingly deep depth.

Paris' attention was torn from his thoughts by Zsinor's voice. His paw stroked her cheek without his permission. He quickly jerked it away. "Yes..." He tilted his head to the side. "Are you alright now?"
