The vibrant blush on her cheeks gained more intensity as she felt herself being drawn closer to him by his wings. It was a bit suprising how soft they were, where as they looked to be much more...leathery and thus she would have assumed rough. What a strange sight this would have been to anyone walking in, two freaks...this put a smile on her lips though. Whomever could have walked in probably would have hightailed it out of there just as fast, they were an odd pair indeed...and she liked it that way.
Yet enough of this mooshy crap. Even one with as extensive rollercoaster of emotions as she couldn't remain in this forever. Nodding her head to his wise words she used her wing tip to brush the remaining tears from her face and stood up. Shaking out her pelt the best she could from debris she was well aware of the sight of her....and even she felt a mild disgust from the way the dirt clung to the now dried blood.
"Well I can't have you moping around again....I suppose you can stay with me." A very faint mischevious grin drew on her lips as the mare turned away, her head held high as she sniffed the cool brisk air. "There is a lake around here, and I think I need to bathe." Surely, he wouldn't object.
"However..." She turned back to look at him sternly, the strong mare that he'd seen initially slowly hitching back onto the tracks. "If you're going to be staying with me....you best keep up. I travel by night and sleep by day, and I don't like to stay in one place too long for....personal reasons. You up for that, Cobalt?" She wasn't fully aware if he had any friends, but he did make it seem like he had some. He'd have to give up seeing them; or sacrifice some of his daytime sleeping hours in order to see them.
Airlia didn't wait for anyone...since she never knew who, or what was waiting for her.

Him? Moping? A wry grin crossed his face at those words.
She was regaining her composure, becoming that firecracker of a mare she had been upon their meeting. Yet, he knew that this time, she wouldn't use that fiery demeanor to shut him out...or at least, he hoped she wouldn't .
Standing, he shook out his own coat, stretching his wings before folding them smartly across his back. "I am well accustomed to traveling by night. Shadows such as I are usually more comfortable when they are invisible, cloaked by darkness." A sad expression settled on his face for the merest of moments. "I have nothing keeping me in one place...I have my reasons as well for moving around so often."
He did have a few friends, but they knew he was prone to wandering, and he didn't visit terribly often. Perhaps he would be able to convince his new traveling companion to come with him to visit some of them, someday.
"As far as the lake goes, I think that is a good idea, for both of us." He looked down at his pelt, where dirt clung stubbornly to his fur no matter how hard he tried to shake it off. True, he was not as coated as she was, but a bath would be splendid, nonetheless.
Cobalt was glad that she had recovered from her bout of sadness. He much preferred this side of Airlia, although he knew that her softer side had its merits as well. That same wry smile crept across his face again, as he realized that he would no longer be alone on his journeys.
"Us others have to stick together, after all..." He murmured softly, remembering their earlier discussions.
They would be together, he and Airlia. Friends, journeying across the world. Excitement ran through him, a giddy sort of feeling, part adrenaline rush, part pure happiness.
