Pales and Armel both took their seats first, Armel nodded to Jiro.
"I wan' noodles Da!" He called out tugging on the man's jacket a bit. "I like it here." Armel added. Armel wasn't one for new things or places, but it seemed that with Jiro around he adjusted a lot better.
"Probably like it here because it is a little quieter than most places." Pales muttered after settling in and taking off his jacket and laying it between himself and Armel.
"Yah, kinna hurts m'ears..." Armel rubbed one of his ears and glanced at Jiro, "Don' like crowded places at all." He explained.
Pales looked over the selection and chuckled, "I think I'll try the noodles here as well. If I may, I will help pay for after dinner treat. Just to say thanks for a great day."

Jiro was already waving down a waiter for their drinks when Armel spoke to him and he nodded in complete agreement. "I can't stand loud noises. My hearing is sensative as well.. so this is the best place to go for some peace and quiet, in my opinion. It's always fun to come here though..." As they arounded a round of green tea, he looked at Pales and the other Tale. "what would you like to drink?"
At times, it would seem like the boy was picky, but he truly wasn't all that bad. He just liked what he liked and he wasn't about to let anyone change that. It made a lot of sense that way if one thought about it.
"If you would like to, I will not argue with you." Akiya was layback enough to not wanna make a big deal out of something like food. "It has been a great day, neh?" Settling down next to Jiro, he looked over the menu. Hmm what to get. So many choices.

Armel nodded to Jiro sympathizing with his problems about crowded places and noise, "I jus' want some water." He replied, water was probably one of his favorite things to drink, despite the flavorless aspect of it. The ram-horned boy didn't seem picky about a lot of things, though he probably had certain things that he wanted just so.
Pales nodded at Akiya, "Course not, I wouldn't have let you." His tone was playful of course. "I'll take water too. My stomach has been upset a lot lately when I drink anything but water."
Armel just looked around, "I want to start eatin' here da'."
Pales chuckled a bit glancing at Armel, "We will come here every now and again, alright?"
Armel scrunched his nose and turned back to Jiro.
Pales responded to Akiya simply, "A very great."

Nodding when he said he wanted water, as did Pales, he ordered that as well. He was more a tea and water person himself, though he would drink anything put before him without complaint. Which was a good thing when trying to give the boy meds. When the tea got set before them, he went ahead and poured some for Akiya and himself, letting the older man add his own sweetners as he drank it plain.
"Ooh that's not good. Upset stomachas are always such hassles.. I hope you can get better, man." He had to take medicine when he got sick.. mainly cause his blood demanded it. Human meds didn't work quite so well for him. "Did you take anything for it? I forget which tea is good for that..."
After listening to the two speaking, Jiro's brow jacked up before he smirked. "We come here all the time. If you da doesn't mind, we can bring you with us when we come. How about that?" It didn't take much longer for the noodles to arrive and he clapped his hand happily. He was hungry after all and they always give huge servings.

Pales shrugged at Akiya's question for a moment, "I always had a delicate stomach I guess. Much like a ... bird." he went silent for a moment before giving a nervous laugh, "Of course I am a human not a bird." Pales shifted his shoulders a bit looking into his glass of water and then into his noodles when they arrived.
Armel glanced at his Da before replying to Jiro, "Aye, that'd be great!" the boy peered at his father figure as if he already suspected the man was hiding something but he dared not prod into it. Armel seemed to have learned the find art of letting others tie their own noose.
Pales' expression brightened, "I tried every remedy in the book though, nothing seems to work. So I just stay away from rich foods and the like. That often includes sweets sometimes." Pales did not desire to have his new found friend to think oddly of him.

"Ah... you remind me of Syrie is eating habits. That silly kitsune eats 'rabbit food' more often than not..." Snickering, Akiya shook his head. Syrie was a good friend of the family and considering how well Jiro and Khia got along, it was only natural that happen. But he was a rather open minded person so he wondered what was wrong with Pales because he looked like he was hiding something. However, he wasn't the type of person to pry so unless Pales mentioned it to him of his own free will, he would not mention anything. "But it's good to be careful bout what you eat if your tummy isn't feeling as it should.
Jiro was busy eating, using a set of chopsticks that he had brought about just in case they would be eating there, but he looked at when Armel agreed to it and he grinned... after he finished the bite, of course. "Awesome! It'll be fun! Maybe we can yank Khia along as well... that'll be fun heh.. then you can meet my best friend!"

Pales nodded as he listened to Akiya explain about Syrie, then he gave the man a brief smile that seemed to make him look quite young, and boyish, "Yeah, you're right." Pales looked down at his selection of eating tools, westernized utensils and of course the flimsy one-time-use chopsticks. "They get a lot of everyone in here I imagine." He reached and opened his, and Armel mocked that movement seemingly without knowing. They both also opened the package these chopsticks came in.
Armel nodded at Jiro, "I'd be honour'd t'meet y'friend. Y'ever seen 'Donny? 'E is my best friend." he nodded sagely, "Ye are becomin' a close second too." He admitted.
Pales was already eating, but watching Armel closely. Armel had stopped looking at Jiro and was studying the pictures on the side of the package the chopsticks came from. Before long the ram-horn'd boy was at his noddles with his chopsticks almost flawlessly, excluding the couple of clumsy tries.
First the boy had dropped them into the bowl, then he almost flung the top stick out of his hand, but his other hand had caught it. Armel actually laughed as if he was having fun learning to use this new eating tool.

"Yeah, well not only Asain people like noodles heh." He seemed rather amused as he picked up his chopsticks and ate a bit, though he ate a lot slower than Jiro did, who was always hungry. "This place is like a madhouse on the weekends cause everyone's free... so we come during the week because it's quieter..."
Jiro was quiet for a moment when Adonis was brought up and he actually paused in mid-bite. The shiny one was his best friend? Most interesting. Slurping up the rest o fhis bite, he chewed for awhile before he spoke. "Yeah, I've met him once or twize. Never too long though. He thinks my hair is shiny but his attention span is a bit short heh. But.. then again, we never spoke that long either." He knew that Adonis was Viddy's brother, cause Viddy mentioned him and such.. but he didn't have an opinion either which way about Adonis other than he was too shiny for his own good. "Heh, I'm sure Khia would love to meet you.. he's missed seeing a lot of the new Tales appear. He's like Linny... he's really tall.. but he's cool." Blinking at being called a close second, he inclined his head in thanks but didn't know what to say to that.
Akiya was rather amused by how Armel mastered using chopsticks so quickly. he was really good, but he made the same mistakes Jiro had made.. though Jiro flicked his hand so hard the first time, the top stick had gone flying and smacked into a waiter's forehead. Jiro, naturally, felt no remorse over it, calmly saying that the man should have gotten out of the way. But he heard Jiro giggle a bit when Armel did and he was pleased. Jiro didn't laugh often.

Armel busily ate for a moment before replying to Jiro, "Linny? Ne'er met him..." He replied after politely swallowing his food. "Tall. I want to be tall one day." he let out a small wistful sigh before eating again. This stuff was really good!
Pales nodded to Akiya after he finished making sure Armel didn't prod his eyes out with the chopsticks or anyone else's eyes for that matter, "I bet, the food here is great. Didn't say that comment assuming just Asians like noodles, I said it because a place I went to once only gave you chopsticks. It was either you learn or you eat with your hands, but of course that was frowned upon."

"Linny carries around a mop all the time... and has short red hair. If ya see someone like that, who loves cleaning, that's Linny. He's nice enough... one day, I think we'll all be tall. It's all a matter of when, I guess heh." He finished off his first bowl and lifted it up as the waiter passed by. Since they knew him so well, they just took it and went to refill it. "He's nice though." To him, growning wasn't that big of a deal. He was used to being small and he wasn't exactly sure if he did wish to grow. But it was something he kept to himself and generally didn't speak about.. anymore.
"Oh I hope that it didn't sound like I was assuming you meant that! Heh, sorry.. sometimes I say things like that... but I have been to places like that. I just order soup in those cases..."

Pales smiled good naturedly at Akiya and nodded, "Or just order stuff you can easily eat with hand to mouth." he gave chuckle and shrugged, "Though I am okay with chopsticks now so I guess either way it'll be good in the end." Pales finished eating his noodles and flagged down the waiter for seconds. "I love a good miso soup though."
Armel nodded after finishing his bowl of noodles and he just seemed to sit there for a moment as if deciding if he could go for seconds. He was also keeping a catalogue of the description Jiro gave him, "Aye, I'll keep that in mind." He said after a moment. Armel didn't eat a whole lot, just enough to keep himself content, when he got the attention of the waiter before the waiter left, then Armel specifically asked for the bowl to only be half filled. After the water went to get his order he spoke to Jiro again, "Oh, I can wait t'grow sometimes. Though there are times when I can't wait. Like when Da sends me t'bed early, or he says 'Not until you're older!'" He wagged a finger at the air as scolding someone imaginary. Armel then dropped his hand to his lap and sighed rolling his eyes again.
After that Pales got his full seconds and Armel got his requested half-filled bowl.

That made him chuckle. "Oh yes, that's exactly the other thing to do!" He seemed vastly amused at this point, pausing to take a couple sips of his hot tea before he set it aside. "I'm not as skilled with chopsticks yet.. I just found a way to make it look like I do heh. It's always fun." His eyes lit up at the mention of miso soup. "oooh one of my favorite soups! I simply adore the stuff! They have some here as well if you'd like to try it."
"Go to bed early?" His nose wrinkled and he snorted at the thought. "I go to bed when I wish to sleep, though sometimes I'm rather advised that sleeping right then would be best, I don't have any set bedtime. I'm able to go around as I wish at home... as long as I have my pets with me, it's fine." Jiro still didn't understand that he ws given a lot of freedom, only because he didn't know there were people who tailed him to make sure he was safe at all times. Zy's network of friends was like a close knit family, so it wasn't a big deal for them to look out for their own. But even with that, he was rather a wild child... at times, thankfully.

Pales laughed a bit, "I am quite hungry today, wonder why." He shrugged and waved the waiter down and ordered a bowl of miso soup as well, "Kind of funny, most days I don't eat a whole lot, but today I'm ravenous." The man smiled with a small shrug.
Armel nodded to Jiro and shrugged, "Well, he tricks me into going t'bed early I think. He gets me ready and then has me lay down and then he reads stores t'me and that makes me tired." He shrugged and ate the last bits of his noddles, talking between bites and swallows.
"What would everyone want for their round of sweets while the waiter is still here?" Pales asked cheerfully, keeping the waiter around so that he didn't have to run back and forth so much. Not that the waiter quite minded.

"Usually when I'm sick, I'm starving and I tend to eat a lot mroe than I usually do. Maybe it's the same way for you?" When asked about what sweets he would like to eat, he looked over the list and pondered. Hmm... choices. So many choices. "I'll just take a slice of apple pie." Just the thought of having it made him rub his tummy happily. "Always have room for sweets!"
"Oh he most definately tricks you! I keep hearing that parents do that.. I'm glad they don't heh." He ordered some green tea ice creams and that was it. He loved sweets, but today he wanted something simple and light. And that was the best thing for him. "I like reading.. but I don't get tired from it. Most be really boring stories if you fall asleep through it...."

Pales nodded a bit, "Perhaps." He said happily and waited for Jiro and Akiya to order before he ordered himself some vanilla pudding and Armel ordered chocolate ice cream for himself. The waiter then scuttled off to fill all the orders. "Nice and efficent here."
Armel looked scandalized for a moment glancing over at his Da then looked back at Jiro after the ordering was done, "That is just it, they are fantastic stories he just tells them in a low soft soothin' voice. And then you get all comfy and relaxed. S'like magic."
The orders returned to the table at that point, Pales first ate the soup and then he began on his pudding. This food was really great!
