I think they are trying to make it 18 in a lot of other states, too. There was talk about it in my state.

My drivers training teacher said that the rumor about teenagers causing most accidents is false, and that research shows that 20 to 30 year olds cause the most accidents. surprised

Excepttt. 4 out of 5 teenagers will be involved in an accident within their first three years of driving (whether it's being a witness, the person who caused the crashed, or being crashed into). That also includes very minor accidents as well, such as a simple little bump. And out of all teenage crashes, 3% of them are fatal. And if you think about it, that's actually a lot of kids. gonk
