"Jinxy.." Jasper summoned Jinxy. Jinxy summoned 3 more bats. Jinxy fussed into Jasper's back and turned into medium bat wings on Jasper's back. The two other bats fussed to Jasper's ankles. " Ready?" Jasper said as the last bat just circled Amanda and Jasper. Jasper held out a hand to Amanda. " We are flying out of here."

Amandas eyes widened "flying?" She didn't know they could fly.

Jasper grabbed her hand and pulled her into him. He lifted her up like a princess and lifted off the ground. His wings started flapping a tad and the ones on his ankles didn't stop flapping. The last bat circled them frequently. A red mist traced around them. " Yes. It is one of the great this of being a rebel vampire. I can do what I want.." Jasper said with a smirk to Amanda.

Amanda clung to him.She was terrified of hieghts. "Sure.." she kept her eyes from looking down.

A ranking vampire threw a dagger at Jasper from above. " Damn.." Jasper said as it pierced past his arm. It almost hit Amanda. His arm started to bleed. " ******** Ranking vampire!" Jasper said as he spun around and shot the ranking vampire with his gun. " Its okay Amanda" Jasper said with his hand turning her face to look at his chest and not the fight. "Go..." The last bat spun out and bite the vampire on the neck. His neck turned blue and purple as both the bat and the vampire fell frozen to the ground. Jasper spun back and kept flying. " Are you alright?" Jasper asked looking into her eyes.

She nodded.His gaze made her speechless.But she felt dizzy.There was a dart in her back."I feel dizzy..."she whispered

"s**t." Jasper said as he pulled out the dart. "b*****d poisoned you." Jasper nosed dived onto a nearby roof. He laid Amanda on her back. " I am going to suck the poison out of you. You won't turn over to vampire so don't worry. " Jasper said. He raised the back of her shirt up so her whole back showed. "Sorry about this. " Jasper said as he bite a part of her back near the start of the poison and sucked it all out of her. Jasper spit it out . He sucked some more out and spit it out. He sucked out the rest of it and spit it out. The poison burned parts of the roof. Jasper wiped his mouth. blood and poison were mixed in his mouth. Jasper put a bandage over the wound and pulled her shirt back down. " We still need to hurry. There might be more..." Jasper said holding her in his arms. He looked down into her eyes.

Her eyes were drooping.She felt weak. "Why don't they get it?..I'm on your side" she whispered she was falling asleep.She looked at Jasper.She smirked"thanks..Jasper"

" You haven't like chosen yet. You could still betray us." Jasper said with a kiss to her forehead as she fell asleep. Jasper closed his eyes and flew gracefully through the night sky. He landed on the roof of an abandoned mansion. The old style kind.

Amanda remained asleep for the whole trip.She was still weak. When he landed on the rooftop her musical locket fell from her hand.

" Amanda.." Jasper hushed not wanting to wake her. He grabbed the locket and placed it around her lovely neck. He flew in through a window and into a master bedroom. Jasper rested Amanda on the bed and sat on a chair keeping an eye on her. He pulled up his hood and covered himself for when the sun would come up. Jinxy and the bats flew and hide in the closet.

Amanda lay there asleep.Just before dawn her locket opened by itself and played a sweet tune with a sour ending.She slowley opened he reyes and put a hand on her locket.

Jasper slowly drifted to asleep as the sun rose over the horizon. He s ighed deeply and closed his eyes. His dangerous expressions faded to a dull innocent face as he slept.

Amanda sat up. She let her hair down and ran a hand through it.She glanced over and saw Jasper. She noticed the open window and got up placing the old blanket over it. She closed her locket layed back on the bed still weak.'he saved my life...'

Jinxy and the two other bats flew out of the closet. They got on the bed and played with each other. They wanted Amanda to play with them as well. Jasper sat in the chair in a trance.
